Apparently, the show is ending, and it feels like it's happening too soon. I really wish it had lasted longer. I hope this team, with the same cast, comes up with another show with a similar setup. I'm going to miss this one a lot.

The guy Asad said they shot 30 episodes. Now maybe they'll prolong it to 32 on the editing table?

The story cannot wrap up this quick. They took their sweet time with the build up. The climax needs to hit hard.

I'm thinking at least 8 more episodes.

They will end quickly for Dastakhat

Again, what a beautiful episode. Today was Burhan's day. The episode belonged to him. Once again he was perfect and almost too perfect. But one cannot mind that for rarely such men exist outside reels. He explained why he did not approach earlier and how he feels. He wants what's best for Nashwa and that's the most beautiful thing. How many times do we ask a person how they were before us or who they were in our absence?

His sweet treatment towards beenish and also his positive demeanour towards Ammar shows his class and his heart. He didn't treat Ammar as a criminal based on hear say or accusations. He was neutral and friendly. But also firmly reminded Ammar of why he feels like he can order someone to do a mundane chore - he is not in a good place in life. Ammar taking out his weakness and frustration on Nashwa.

Nashwa has so much to learn from him. One cannot just deduce who a criminal is based upon their voice!

Everyone needs a Burhan. But Burhan too deserves equally good treatment.

One thing that I didn't like was how pushy he was to see her at night. That was very inappropriate. I understand his rush and he means no harm but pushing Nashwa his junior like that was bit of a power play. Of course he didn't come from a bad place but still.

I missed Bakhtiyar. He is my favorite character besides Ammar and dado. He has so many layers. Bakhtiyar initially seemed like a strict, reluctant uncle having to take responsibilities of a widow and an orphan. He seemed to be fond of them but also not very keen on taking the responsibility. Slowly, we saw how sinister he really is.

While I love Burhan as a person, he's just too perfect. I thought he'd have some layers but there is nothing. He is a very good person. And that is all. Sometimes I find him boring. I feel like Rabia made him perfect like an angel to satisfy real life women Jo taras gaye hai to see someone like that. Sometimes the too good and the too pious comes across as if he is reading a script written by a woman for another woman to hear. Though I do understand where she is coming from.

Coming to Ammar - the Ammar Nashwa scenes was fire. Something about those two on screen is just utter chemistry! Ammar and his change of emotions was noteworthy.

It's clear that Ammar is on a path that will lead to despair. We cannot help but feel it's just, that he deserves it for not helping Mahi later on, not supporting her but rather continuing to be friends with people who destroyed her. But we also feel some kind of pity. Pity not for his actions or rather inactions but for the time he has left and how he is not using it wisely to make it right...for Mahi and for Nashwa.

Ammar's connection to Nashwa is more than a deal. There is a reason he lashes out. It's his understanding of his lack of emotional regulation and intelligence. He knows. But he is not doing anything about it or he just can't. His parents never helped. But also as an adult he never tried to do it right. It's on him as much as it is on his father mother and grandmother. He knows the clock is ticking.

He too like Nashwa is trapped in many ways. His actions were wrong but why do we forget that troubled children exist? We only excuse and celebrate the Burhan and Nashwa's for their successful transition into adulthood but shame and bring down the Ammar's? Could some intervention during his early and late teen years have helped him move away from those bad companies or questionable behaviors?

Children like him need to be taught about emotional regulation, balance and consequences.

We need to do better for troubled youth instead of just shaming them. Behavior is always coming from a place where a need was not met.

It is now late for Ammar and it was Sidra and Bakhtiyar's failure to discipline their child with consequences which now turned into something they cannot save him from. That is himself.

All in all, a good episode. But it needs to pick up. It's been 3-4 episodes since s Bisma got married. We need to pick up the pace and reveal the wedding.

Also, mental pressure is such that we can see a happy Nashwa turn into a softer version of Bisma. It happens, the psychological pressure. An interesting situation.

Bisma had me a little disappointed. I understand she is timid and meek but she could have been a little more vocal. Not because it will change anything but it would at the very least make her daughter know she is there for her.

What is that? A new drama? I just saw paradise promo. It was sooo good. Shuja and iqra look very compatible together!

I wish it was on hum instead of express. Iqra is an amazing actress. I hope shuja has better control of his voice this time around.

I have the same problem with Nameer. Voice modulation needs work.

It’s pretty clear from the episode that Ammar and Nashwa are married. He even told her, "After all, you chose me. I’m the one to protect you, and you better make Burhan understand, or I’ll make him understand in my own way." Just because he's married to her, he thinks she’s his property and can treat her like trash. His whole attitude has changed, and now he walks around ordering her around. People like him will never change. When they can’t control their own life, they try to drag others down and enjoy harassing them. It’s such a twisted mentality. I honestly don’t see any difference between him and his father. I really hope the Maheen case reopens, and both Ammar and his friends receive the harshest punishment for all their crimes.

I don't know about others, but even if Ammar dies in the end, I won't feel the slightest bit of sympathy. That guy deserves all the karma for what he did to Maheen and for now trying to suppress and control Nashwa.

It’s been 23 episodes, and they still haven’t started the court cases. I really hope they don’t rush everything at the end. There should be proper closure, not everything wrapped up in just one episode.

I think manto will replace qej. Humayun chose sunday slot for GM too. So it's possible that manto will take over .

Saqib's take on "who will marry who and why" hype..many conversations dumbed down from asking much more important questions.

This guy isn't really impressed by the viewers impression. He just loves his craft clearly. But I'm glad I'm on the same page as him about a certain matter.

The story the plot the questioning of existence...is now left far behind in the quest of cutesy couple reverence in most of the projects these days

Well, it's the sign of times. It's both a good thing and a not so good thing at the same time.

But to each their own I guess.
