Don’t want to be sparring on here but I’m only comparing because regardless of budget and length of drama it’s still a social drama at the end of the day. Social drama’s have low budget anyway. I get what your saying that MJ was shot in 30 days so it’s a mini series and had a very low budget alongside the timeframe but it’s a social drama in the end so I’m comparing in that sense. It’s still aired on a major channel at an 8pm slot so it can be compared to other social drama’s. I would compare JBG to it too solely because it aired on a major channel. Something like Aik Thi Laila, Raazia and DNUTN I wouldn’t compare due to the channel being a smaller one (Express and TV One). Even Naadan and TMNON can be compared to it because these 2 like MJ are social drama’s (shot in 30 days with low budget) and I’ve seen people compare TMNON on here so if that’s not a problem why should MJ be?

No they aren’t the same kind of social dramas. The narrative & execution clearly differs. DNUTN belongs to the genre of MJ no matter whether it aired on a smaller channel or a bigger one. Razia has comparable views to MJ & much more than DNUTN & JBG irrespective of being on a smaller channel although TV one has the lowest subscribers amongst these four channels.

I have no sympathy for Geo for promoting mysigionist content and promoting abuser. They are getting what they deserve. KRQ too for showing women in such a bad light and disrespting women.

geo made the cardinal sin of making something really boring. there is still an audience for crap tv but it needs to be entertaining, keep audiences hooked, and get them invested in the characters. if a drama can accomplish these, weak writing direction or production can all get overlooked by viewers.

that drama will be the one bailing out GEo from its flop era, so we should expect more of geo promoting the actor in the future

Ahad has pull , he got all overseas crazy fans watching his shows on repeat.

Ahad definitely has ground popularity. Hum tum is 3rd highest viewed ramadhan drama despite it being mediocre and less popular compared to the previous ramdhan dramas, him getting criticism for his comic timing.

And this show is his comeback after a 2.5 hiatus, yet the numbers and views are really commendable. Dananeer also a hand as she's quite popular on sm.

More than the scripts, it's because of them deceiving audience by dragging shows with flashbacks and slomos. Public have had enough with them, if you fool them to earn extra $$ then they can also stop watching your shows and make you go into losses.

Ary doesn't resort to this cheap tactic that's why it's ahead of every channel.
