MJ & QeJ aren’t from the same genre. If you have to compare do it with DNUTN & JBG. I know it’s all giving back in the same tone happening here but they aren’t similar. One was a low budget mini series completed in 35 days only & the other one is a full fledged show. Competitive slots also do affect shows ratings. Look at MSM it’s doing well on Youtube but it’s up against Bismil on TV so its ratings are very low.

QeJ is doing well as per TRPs although the views are poor. So no problem in accepting that. Overall Zard did better as it had both views & TRPs.

I do agree writers do matter. Most probably Wahaj and Maya chose worst script like SMD because of the reputation of writer. Some actors like Bilal and Sajal though could make medicore script work. And some extent how popular show is depends on director too. But actors should also be smart and read full script and not just rely on writer and production house. Those who are smart with their choices can survive especially if you are non nepo. Not eveyone will get Farhat script.

Well maya is really bad in smd.saw some clips in social media. Her dialogue delivery is flat , her expressions are monotonous . She couldn't even do a flowerpot role which required not much effort. Yeh toh new comers bhi kar lete hain. And I m proven right and how ! how is she getting work with that type of acting . Oh god, she should improve her acting or should not get lead roles at all. What was Kadwani thinking? He must be cursing his stars when he signed her as sadaf ....Coz financial loss toh use hua na .

Whether you are considering avg content, pdp or from the channel flyers,the point is qej still has 10 in contrast to the show redefining love .So, people better concentrate on the show trending on 49th position in srilanka.

And Qej is a very good drama . It needs no defending. The love it is getting from neutrals is a proof itself. Yumna is a superstar, even if qej aired on Saturday, Friday or even Thursday - it would get the same trp. E.g Jaffa and ghair get good trp despite coming on the same slot. It's only excuses , when bismil is blamed for other show's low trp. Like that geo show accha nahi hai isiliye, 5 trp Lata hai. Not coz of bismil...
