Am I the only one liking Burhan? I think his acting is just fine. Rooting for Nashwa-Burhan
in today’s episode he was good.Originally posted by: princessjojo

I liked him today as well. His scene with Nashwa was good starting from when he sees her freeing the birds to listening in on her conversation with her friends to their scenes in his office and lunch room.
This episode was Nashwa Burhan centric. But I do think that mentally they’re not compatible because Nashwa looks at cases so sensitively and Burhan looks at them very factually.
I think this will drive a wedge between them for sure whether they get together or not. He was basically a bit of a snob and she’s right for calling out his superiority complex lol. There’s something almost robotic about him.

Haan on YT they showed officer saying Rape and attempt to murder correctly.
They really should say the words because every person knows the word rape. Idk when they say ziyaadti I feel like it belittles the violence that entails the act. Say it like it is.
I also loved that Mahi gave her statement and how the police officer escorted her bhabhi out. That woman was embodying everything wrong with our society - of making the girl feel like it’s her fault and she would have been better off dead. I was losing it with her false sympathies.
Hoping Mahi finds justice because it’s clear her family are useless human beings. Oh also I loved that they didn’t drag her revealing the name and just straight up named Ammar as the culprit. BOOM. Next week he’s getting arrested
The pace is good.
I really like the cuts they do between two simultaneous scenes. Works well for this genre because it doesn’t let you linger on a scene too long. Scenes feel sharp and not dragged

Waise Burhan has already started the special treatment, didn't ask her syllabus related stuff
I almost thought he'd get her coffee, thank God he didnt
He was still stuck up like hell though
I loved how Nashwa brought up the demeaning thing Baari sahab said and told him that she thinks he might agree with him. Girl was being super polite but also getting her points across.
She also said that would you have asked juniors like Mohid if they understood the mahool of this profession? Making it clear that she is aware girls get asked different questions than men. Nice touch

That difference in approach to cases will make it interesting.
We will have to wait and see how misogynistic he truly is. He probably isn’t given that he has 3 female juniors and only 1 male. I think he was just trying to trigger her/test her while in their office because he already over heard her somewhat feminist views during lunch.

No you're not the only one, I'm sure I'll like him too as the layers come off.
Right now I'm like Nashwa thinking he thinks himself super dooper.
