If this was the case then we wouldn't have been shown this conversation and the girl wouldn't have specifically said that she doesn't have to sell herself to Bilal...all she has to do is smile and make pegs for him.
I feel it's pretty clear from the writer's end that Bilal is perceived as the bad guy while he isn't per say and Ammar and others who are perceived as good people in fact have a vices.
