So far I haven’t found anything Humsha has said to be a nonsensical as the other characters. If her friend got 8 crores and a 3 month leave on her first day of work, yes this is something to worry about. Is she not supposed to talk about it? When she first finds out she rightfully thinks that Ammar is exaggerating and Sadaf is pulling his leg. Because the amount is so absurd. Then when she finds out it’s real, her first reaction is that Sadaf is in trouble and there’s a problem - she doesn’t jump to the affair. And we know it’s true that yes Sadaf has a problem. She confronts Sadaf about it the very next day and what does Sadaf madam say? Oh she’s going to America for shopping
Then she flaunts the 8 crore again and says leave bhi sanction ho jaye gi. That’s when Humsha got worried. Aur banta bhi hai. Even if she doesn’t have a crush on Bilal, how tactless Bilal and Sadaf are being about this whole thing, any workplace rivalry ke ingredients puray ke puray hain. Then she tells Bilal too that 3 months leave on first day is a ridiculous request - and we all know it is, when you don’t know what’s going on. Phir she even makes the effort to confront Sadaf again to warn her what image is being created of her because of the 8 crore and 3 month leave. To which Sadaf had the clownery to act surprised. She also believed Sadaf when she says keh baad main bataaon gi. Same thing she said to Ammar. That when problem will get solved then she will let them know.
In all this the only illogical thing is Sadaf not confiding in her friends. And expecting blind trust in return when she herself did exactly what they’re imagining her to have done.
But yes that hug was weird. Therapist / messenger bani hoyi hai Humsha. But it’s obvious writer wants to drag the reveal. It makes no sense as to why this has to be hidden from Sadaf’s friends.
The way Humsha reacted is not how a concerned friend would. I’m not blaming her for assuming anything and she isn’t as dumb as Ammar so she didn’t jump to conclusions right away. Whatever she said wasn’t out of concern, she told Ammar that she doesn’t want to be friends with anyone whose “moral image” isn’t upstanding. Why is she getting caught up with the drama Ammar dragged her into? Sadaf never told her directly about the 8 crores. Everything was accusatory in nature. I didn’t feel like she was trying to help her like a friend would. I still think it’s her jealousy talking more than anything.
The thing with Humsha is that she isn’t straight up bad. She shows concern sometimes like she when she apologized to Sadaf. But then why didn’t she clarify to Ammar that nothing is going on between Sadaf and Bilal instead of letting him believe what he wants? Also why does Sadaf have to consider Ammar’s feelings like Humsha said? It’s not like they’re going out and she’s cheating on him. That’s a silly reason. I think we’ll keep seeing two sides of Humsha for a bit. She will show real concern over Zaviyaar once she finds out but Bilal’s concern over Sadaf will bother her. There’s more to Humsha obviously that will make her character more interesting.
For now though, she comes off as a busy body running around the office gossiping with a guy who can’t hold it together. I found them amusing to be honest…they kind of made me laugh. I’m a bit done with them now though. At least I’m done with Ammar’s crying.
I’m not saying that everything Sadaf is doing is logical but I don’t know if these are real type of friends she should be confiding in anyway. I blame her for mentioning the 8 crores to Ammar. Emotions were probably high. This doesn’t by default make Humsha rational in anyway.
