is 10m views an episode even a big deal any more? I have seen shows with B-listers/non-listers get that milestone...

4 out of 5 top five shows are ARY and 1 is HUM.

Top ten includes 5 ARY, 3 HUM and 2 GEO shows.

All ARY shows are in top 10. The lowest rated ARY show has a TRP similar to highest rated GEO show.

GEO is lagging behind both ARY and HUM. It's highest rated show this week has average TRP of 6.8. While Yahya, Aafat and Girhein don't even make it to top 15.

Yes, it's a big deal. It doesn't matter if they achieve this milestone with B listers or A listers. Currently only SMD & Jafaa is doing 10M+ out of more than a dozen 8 PM dramas.

It's much easier to get views > 10M on a few episodes but much harder to get >10M on every episode

2023:

• Geo (3): Tere Bin, Ehram-e-Junoon, Jhoom
• ARY (4**): Mayiri, MPHT,,,,,Baby Baji**, Mein**
• Hum (1): Fairy Tale s1

**Baby Baji had 1 epi with 9.6 rest are >10M. **Mein had 1 epi with 9.7M rest are >10M. If you take out these 2, ARY count for 2023 is 2.

2024:

• Geo (4*): Khaie, Jaan Nisar, Kaffara,,,, SMD*
• Hum (3*): Ishq Murshid, Rah e Junoon,,,, Jafaa*
• ARY (1): KMKT

Basically, less than 10 shows a year across all channels and timeslots meet this benchmark. So while it's not rare, it's not commonplace either.

P.S. We might be able to add 2-3 more dramas to the list if we take average views per epi across the entire run but I don't have time to calculate them.

Again, consistently Wahaj has 4 shows back to back which have kept up high YT views during air time. In your list he is the 1 actor who has managed it back to back. Too early to say how SMD’s whole run will be of course.

FT2 avg views per episode is 20M as it's total episodes are 15. Also, Shiddat & Khumar may have an average 10 million views per episode.

Jaan e jaan was the comeback of the popular A list pairing of hamza and ayeza, with an ensemble starcast and big budget still it failed to reach the 10m milestone on yt. Except the first 2 episodes, none of the remaining one's have touched 10m even after 10 months.

Whereas smd with crap storyline and less screenspace of leads is managing to cross 10m in a week. And the credit goes to the audience pull of wahaj as people are okay with watching any crap for him. Mein also managed to hit 10m only because wahaj was part of the show. The last 2 episodes were he had the centre stage trended at number 1 in india and pak.
