Iqtidar trp crossed 2.0 for the first time. From a trp in the 0.8s-0.9s a few weeks ago to 2.1 this friday tells you iqtidar has scored with the audiences.

Nadaan trp was 6.1 (closer to ary reported #s) and not the 8.5 hum was reporting based on its unique approach to slicing & dicing the data.

Yahya trp was low on both fri & sat. Geo better finish Yahya soon (the should run 3 epi a week) and rush in Humraaz soon in this timeslot, otherwise they'll lose the advantage JN gave them in the Fri-Sat slots. Ghair is underperforming compared to ARY other shows and GEO should capitalize on it quickly to position Humraaz to get this slot. The more time passes the more difficult it gets to get the slot back. Mon-Thu timeslots toh GEO has already lost by months of shit programming. The only hope for GEO in its lineup seems to be Humraaz that will get them back in TRP game.

Iqtidar is FUN. It is proper candyfloss and not boring at all. and it is working because it is not pretending to be pseudo intellectual..also a fresh pairing. Green will make money on this one..since it is pretty low budget drama and there is organic hype around the lead pair, unlike forcing random mismatched couples down our throats with forced couple name and all that dumb shizzz...

and also some writers needed a reality check..who just take themselves too seriously and think they are new age Manto and a gift to mankind, while being a devil to women kind...

congrats part of it is the kmkt legacy effect. kmkt ruled that timeslot getting a 24 TRP last week. So, AIEJ is also reaping the benefits of that.

I respect your perspective hypno. so could you explain how KMKT contributed to the good ratings for this show? for instance, do you think people who tuned in to last week's KMKT finale were specifically expecting a post-finale episode or they didn't realise their show had ended? what would the adjusted ratings excluding these viewers be? minus TRP of 2/3 ?

So I googled to check the last show that held the record and now I am confused..isn't 14.9 more than 14.3

This poster is a bit odd. For same episode, they report trp with ads (average timeslot rating) for 8-9 pm slot but report trp without ads (average content ratings) for 8-9:04 timeslot instead. I am speculating the average content rating for the 8-9 pm slot (which is the metric used for AIEJ) will be less than 14.9. Maybe it was less than 14.3 - that's why AIEJ first episode is called highest ever. I am just making guesses though.

I am sure people know that it is a new show and they are tuning in to watch a different product..

Another point is if SMD ends..whenever it does, assuming Trps are in the range of 6-7 even when it ends. Then if the show that replaces SMD gets higher trps..ie say 9-10 when it debuts..does that mean that there will be reverse spill over effect ..and tune back in to watch prime time at 8 pm on a prime time channel..?

But Nouman is currently pulling 14 plus trps.

Sherry pulled 14 as well.

Sorry for being misogynistic but only male leads get credit for trps..so they should take the fall for low trps too.
