Also speaking of Sharjeena’s sainthood, my issue is that she's shown to be the perfect woman. She works a 9 to 5 job, is doing an executive MBA, makes meals for her (joint) family round the clock, is an amazing mind blowing chef as well by the way and can do no wrong in the kitchen, and does other chores like doing the dishes and laundry (in a semi-automatic washing machine, which is quite a chore) as well. And then she has time to hang out with Mustafa at night too. On a daily basis. Thora superhuman lagta hai mujhe. I would've liked it better if they had shown her missing some chore once in a while. Would've kept the human element alive. Ya kabhi roti jala de ghalti se and Mustafa still liking it because she made it And also standing up for herself in a polite manner in front of her MIL. Because that woman is just outrageously hateful of her for NO reason. So these things could be added to make her more relatable and REAL. Itna perfect Aur patient koi nahi hota.

I disagree here, in situations where husbands are like Mustafa and marriage is out of convenience, it should be the one in the victim end, after-all Jeena is not an orphan, well educated, have all the voice and intellect to call out a wrong as wrong, Mustafa calling out is out of love whereas Jeena calling out shall be out of self respect. Adeel had that conversation where he insulted her marriage as samjhota and Rubab tried to give her money. She spoke out both these times.

With Mustafa's mom, I do feel that she took in a lot of disrespect, but only because she didnt want to escalate things further. I think she has an avoidant personality, she would rather avoid confrontation. Unless it's with Mustafa, who she is comfortable around.

She’s a people pleaser. A thing that’s sadly ingrained in a lot of eldest daughters of families. The expectation from them to be “perfect” and make everyone happy, be care givers and responsible all the time, putting their needs and comfort and self respect as secondary. Unfortunately it turns a lot of them into instinctive people pleasers. Which is also why she decided to marry Mustafa because she is putting her self respect second and her family’s izzat first

That is because he did not act in them, so he literally does not care as long as money is not lost I guess, there he was the producer so I guess now it shall be different, his image is important and goodwill as an actor is what has been the USP of this come back and I am glad it worked.

And yes, if Pakistan can make Tere Bin the biggest hit then KMKT definitely can be counted as the least cringe ones at least.

Story wise different and good shows that came recently were Akhara, Jannat se agey, Kabli pulao, Parizaad. there could be more which I did not watch.

Nai level of investment same nahi hai meri at least for KMKT rn. As it was for IM and TB. For TB it was next level But I’m still enjoying this show and the pairing.

Yeah different shows are kind of rare. But I’m just talking under the umbrella of Big Bang productions. Abhi tak I’m unimpressed. KMKT if done right till the end will probably be the first one from this PH for me

I am really hoping they can keep the subtlety of the show and does not insert idiotic or cringe elements to drag the show as it is the highest rated ones now. I will be very happy if they finish it by 30-35 episode, please I hope so.

I am the eldest daughter and I can understand what you are saying, but I think with time and experience I have stopped being a people pleaser now, I hope so I am right

But as much as I am people pleaser, I would not have proposed my ex's younger brother upon being dumped, this is gutsy and weird at the same time, in fiction it looks beautiful now since both MusJeena have won our hearts, however reality could be extremely different

One thing I still cannot fathom is even though Jeena's father is educated and kind of upper middle class, how can he agree for Mustafa's proposal and now after the marriage he keeps back biting about this . I was like no sane father would ever agree for this proposal, knowing the boy is jobless and all, what is the point in cribbing now? Shaggy did not have any choice because Ifti would not listen so she went for the marriage but Murtaza had all the choice and he was still giving lectures instead of saying direct NO.
