Aik baat batao i think so meerub is not given monologue kyuki abhi she is still stuck at the point where she was forced into this marriage and her birth truth.Agar haar murtasim ka step p meerub ko monologue mile ka no i don't like hi i hate him because i m forced into this marriage tu bohat monotonous ho jayega waise hi jaise maan mayal mein second fl ka dialogue tha ka mere maa baap nahi hai iss liye.

Meerub ka behavior mysterious hai tu dramay mein suspense bhi rahta hai ka meerub kab murtasim se pyaar karege.

Meerab's monologue is very important now. Yumna can't do everything with her expressions.

Its not yumna i find, its the writing that is not clear in terms of her character 🤷‍♀️

It's so irritating now. They have all the time to show haya, rohail spitting nonsense. But can't give fl monologues.

Good or bad atleast let audience know what's going in her mind.

In the first three episodes Meerub was shown as a girl who has been pampered and loved a lot in her life, who has a good sense of justice, who wants to work for the betterment of society and as well as the girl who hates the patriarchy and the restrictions society has put on women. And for her the face of that patriarchy is Murtasim whom she thinks as misogynist. Her hatred towards the society is directed to one person or one family that is Murtasim and his family. She wants nothing to do with them, she hates the way they interfered in her life and the way her parents allowed it.

But the next two episodes are enough to shake her beliefs, her entire existence. Now she is not the strong Meerub she was before the truth of her birth came out. Now she is so lost in her life and once again she found Murtasim and his family the reason behind her miseries. And after loosing her everything, she was determined to show Murtasim what it is to feel helpless. Even with all these thought she understood and fulfilled her duties in the house which again showed her strength. It was necessary to mention cause Murtasim may have worked alone in their marriage but she did work in other aspects and for the responsibilities which came upon her due to the marriage.

She has a reason to not work on their marriage because she wanted their marriage to collapse, she wanted to show how wrong they were in forcing her, snatching her every right. But Murtasim worked on their marriage and which has softened her resolve which we all were clearly seeing throughout the episodes. There were many things which she did to annoy Murtasim and she was totally right in her views. And I believe Haya has played a role as well, with time she created a fear in Meerub’s mind which also helped her in accepting this marriage.

With Rohail, she shared everything in the moment of weakness and she is still in contact with him because from her side she is clear that she is married to Murtasim, circumstances doesn’t matter and she sees Rohail as her friend only like Murtasim was clear from his side in Haya’s case. And we can’t blame her urge to talk to a friend especially when she feels that she is all alone in this house.

After Marriage, Murtasim may have lost something but Meerub lost everyone and everything in this marriage and it would make no sense if she jumps in Murtasim’s arms within few days or months of marriage, let’s be realistic here. But what she failed to understand was even though she lost many people for this marriage but she still gained that one person who is always going to have her back, and Murtasim is only working in that direction, he is making her realise that she is not alone, that she is not weak, that she is the onld Meerub only but more stronger than old Meerub.

And we really should not judge her on the basis of precap, we don’t know the context of their conversation there is all the chances in the world that it is only a playful conversation. And those who says that Murtasim deserves respect from Meerub, I agree with you all but no Murtasim should not ans would not divorce Meerub for this thing, love should not have conditions, Murtasim never fell in love with the Meerub who talked politely with him, who bended according to the situations, he fell for the Meerub who even after loosing everything didn’t loose her pride, her respect. He doesn’t want and need a soft Meerub but yeah Meerub should sometimes be a little soft with him, once in a while everybody loves that but the problem is she doesn’t know how to be soft with Murtasim, it’s a totally new for her and in her situation she connects softness with giving up. So it is definitely going to be a long wait until we see a lovey-dovey Meerub with Murtu.

And about not revealing the pregnancy truth like I said above that she is a prideful women and she strictly believes it’s not her fault and she won’t be embarrassed for someone else’s fault.

@italic: Murtesim did try balancing Merub & MB's equation with "give respect take respect" etc. It definitely worked like applying grease to machines to reduce friction... 😳

@bold: i agree... And remember? She switched on her phone trying to contact Murtesim to share the false-pregnancy thing! She was restlessly walking back & forth in her room unable to contact him. That's when Rohail called her( i wonder if he was trying her number since the day she came to haveli, without taking any break🤪) First she ignored it... And when she finally answered him, she clearly told him they can't meet! He insisted & that was how they met.

And tbh, i even found most of his words sensible except that he proposed her! He did say wrong about Murtesim but he met Murtesim only once, on Merub's bday & his experience was not good ( i guess,he won't have a chance to even correct his opinion, from the pic we get to see of upcoming scenes😆)

Enjoying all the rants, raves, predictions, back and forth opinions on characters etc. b/c that’s what I’m here on this forum for ♥️

On that note, here is my issue with the whole Meerab and Rohail thing: It’s inconsiderate, disrespectful, hypocritical, and SHE KNOWS VERY WELL THAT IT IS.

I was irked by Murtasim last week, continuing to engage with Haya and his overnight trip with her despite knowing how his wife felt. It didn’t matter that he thinks of her as a sister; it mattered that Haya didn’t think of him that way, and that his wife had a problem with it.

In that same vein, I am irked by Meerab continuing to engage with Rohail.

First, Meerab KNOWS Murtasim doesn’t like Rohail. Any reasonable person can see what his reaction to her talking to/meeting up with Rohail might be, based on his reaction at the bday party. Sher Khan could probably sense Rohail’s obsession and see his googly eyes for Meerab while he was storming into the party like some king of the jungle.

Second, Rohail is NOT just a friend to Meerab. She may have no feelings towards him like Murtasim towards Haya, but she sure knows his feelings and intentions towards her. Rohail professed his love to her over and over again, showing her the ring, and actually egging her on to leave Murtasim. Then, he keeps calling her over and over again, despite her telling him not to; so she knows he’s disrespectful of boundaries (her marriage boundaries, society’s boundaries, and her own wishes to leave her alone.) In her society, that lack of boundaries translates to trouble btw, so it doesn’t matter if WE don’t care about society’s boundaries as an audience. To top it off, Meerab already knew about Rohail’s intentions, at the time of her birthday, because her friends had told her ahead of the party. And even the writer Nooran said that Meerab was aware of Rohail’s romantic intentions towards her pre-wedding, during her IV. (Although Meerab does stupid crap, she’s not dumb.) THIS is why she lied about meeting him to the family, and why she keeps hiding his phone calls, and genuinely seems worried about his calls and anyone hearing. Meerab has no problems expressing herself (aside from the pregnancy apparently), so she wouldn’t have had a problem telling them she wanted to meet ‘just a friend.” So to me, there’s no valid “he’s just a friend excuse” because she is well aware of what he is.

This Murtasim guy has over and over again defended her, saved her life, and told her directly that it’s not worth living without her! If we are expecting Murtasim not to deal with Haya, despite Meerab not even considering him a husband and acting like she doesn’t have feeling towards him, then I think its reasonable to expect that she would give that expected consideration towards Murtasim who does express that he loves her, regards her as his wife, and has expressed that he doesn’t like that Rohail dude one bit. So aside from the respect aspect, it’s a matter of just being considerate.

I sincerely hope that Meerab doesn’t meet Rohail on her own volition, and that if it does happen, its because she wants to cut things off or b/c Rohail tricked her into it via Saba. I can see Meerab acting out and being stupid given everything that has happened to her, but this Rohail business is a low blow to her character otherwise. I would have never had any respect for Meerab’s character if I thought she was an inconsiderate person to that extent.

Ok. My chest is unloaded and I can proceed to enjoy the weekend 😂

That's why I am saying. Yumna has done more that enough for us to connect with Merab but she can't do everything..They have to show us what exactly she is thinking or atleast how much important is Murtasim is in her life through some monologue.
