Veteran Actor Qavi Khan Passed Away :(

Assalamu alaikum.

Veteran actor Qavi Khan, a stalwart of Pakistani showbiz, has passed away in Canada at the age of 80 due to a prolonged illness.

May Allah grant him al jannah . Inna lillah wa inna ilaihi rajioon.

I remember I fell in love with his acting in Teri Bina , as Neelam's father.. and in AAAI as Mikaal's religious murshid.

He did different roles, and all of them were effective. Not the usual father roles. In ARY's Aangan he played the real hero. ⭐️

He was definitely a great actor. Really liked his characters in Aangan, Ishq jalebi, AAA and in some other dramas.

I heard he was supposed to be in yunhi too, and he left meri shahzadi in between too, because he was not well.

He was passionate about acting. I was surprised to watch him acting like this in his late years. Ppl get tired and prefer to stop working after their 60s or 70s.. and Qavi acted till his last year.

True. He is a great inspiration.

I didn't watch Dure Shehwar .. but I am sure he must have done an exclellant job there, coz there's no role he didn't do justic to.

I had no idea he was 90 years old. I loved him as Bauji in Ishq Jalebi. Some people have that aura where just by looking at someone's face, you can feel that this person is good at heart and whenever I used to see him, I got that vibe. May his soul rest in peace. The Pakistani tv industry truly lost a legend.

Yes. When a person is good it reflects on his features.. he appears like our own grandfathers.. he gives the vipes of a dear one. I don't remember hating him in any drama, maybe because I didn't watch him doing a negative role. 😕

aww i really liked him..he was still working til the end.. will miss him in shows..
