So, there is a pic of yesterday's epsiode of Hamza and Hala when she was about to tell her past and the scene was cut. The caption is " Why didn't they show us the rest of the scene?" with a crying emoji.

He is the director. So, basically they are asking/questioning him.

Sameen could have easily been dealt with by either getting a decent guy for her from her college or past, whom she might have rejected in hopes of hamza, or she gets a scholarship to godforsaken London n leaves forevea!

And they could have spent all that shooting they like to do on tracks about halza relationship, hala’s traumas, hamza’s realisations, hala’s pregnancy which everyone conveniently forgets coz then they won’t be able to torture hala like she’s some lab rat…also slowly n surely enfolding of everything SJ has done especially the abortion pills.

You should be a part of their creative team😳..You are giving some solid ideas which the makers cant even think of..

For 6 constant epis they are making Hala cry and torturing her while she being pregnant, this are some real sadistic thing to show and as a viewer it is hard to take for me...Is there nothing else to show rather than a girl getting tortured from left right and centre while being her absolute vulnerable self,if such thing would have happened in real, the girl would have had a miscarriage due to all the mental and physical torture..

Is there nothing else for Sameen rather than getting married to a homeless guy!!They could have shown her pursuing her career and healing herself but no,there is apparently one solution for everythig and that is marriage

Did he answer the question?🤣

You know I am really hoping flashback mein Hala ne Hamza ko bata diya ho Khurram ke bare mein. They should make use of this cut scene😆 and iske baad Hala looks much more relaxed😆

Hopefully they got big paychecks.

Farhan is the director’s best friend. The main reason why he could make changes to the script in the first place. The director will never let Farhan or his character Hamza be at the receiving end of severe criticism. They both are even more wary now after the abortion pills episode, where Hamza got bashed.

My theory is that originally Hala was supposed to confess to Hamza like we saw in the precap but then that scene was edited as we saw in the episode. They later shot and added the apartment scene to give Hamza a solid justification to be angry with Hala in the future without getting any backlash. And in that process they ruined Hala’s character arc. I guess being the show runner’s friend does have its advantages, along with being a male actor in a desi tv/film industry where most female actors barring a few don’t have much say.

I feel so let down by this drama. I stopped watching Pakistani dramas a while back because they are so regressive. They start out well and for the first 3-5 episodes I’m like ‘wow, this seems so good’; then they completely derail and I abandon them. So frustrating. This one seemed different. Sure the storyline isn’t groundbreaking but the representation of the male lead WAS groundbreaking. For the first time we have a male character who seemingly doesn’t fall for the toxic mother in law’s schemes, who trusts his wife unequivocally, who encourages his wife to assert her independence and develop her confidence. I was loving it.

Then it started derailing. The first sign of the script going downhill was Hamza admitting his mother is in the wrong but telling Hala that despite this he doesn’t want to hear about the wrong things she does. This is completely illogical. He’s essentially told her that even if his mother abuses her she should keep quiet because he can’t hear a negative word about his mother.

The second sign of the script derailing was Hamza going ballistic when Hala told him his mother gave her the pills, and then falling for Shajahan’s lies and actually having the audacity to accuse Hala of attempting to abort their baby. At this point I was done with the show.

Unlike most I actually understand Hala not telling Hamza about her past with Khurram. Hamza has shown her that when it comes to life-altering matters, if it’s Hala’s word against Shajahan’s he will believe his mother. If he can believe Hala tried to kill her own baby, why would Hala have any confidence that he’ll believe she does not have an ongoing relationship with Khurram or love him?

Hala is a uneducated girl, who from her tweens onwards has been socialised to believe that she is worth absolutely nothing. She has never in her life had any kind of a support system. The one person who has consistently stood by her is Dadi, and whilst Dadi has no issues with going head to head with Shajahan, the truth is she has no real power within the family. If Raees wants Hala out, Dadi will not be able to stop him.

Shajahan has also brainwashed Hala, from a young age, into thinking that no one will ever believe her. That everyone thinks she is a liar. Hamza has reinforced this by not only disbelieving Hala about the pills but then accusing her of attempting to kill the child.

I’m with Hala all the way. Yea she cries a lot, but her behaviour makes perfect sense to me from a psychological perspective.

While I partially agree to this, I don’t think a director can make the changes on his own? Unless the production house agrees, reemploys the writer and gets the rest of the cast n crew on board, it’ll be a slightly impossible task n PH won’t just do it for one actor coz this asks for money which no one likes to spend unnecessarily. But then I have no knowledge of how the industry works.

I do acknowledge that makers as a whole have tried to redeem hamza like their lives depend on it, majorly seen how they’ve collectively forgotten episode 23. Definitely seems like a favour pulled.

Hopefully viewers won’t n I hope against hope makers do something about it.

As for newer scenes, while there are a lot of them, but after watching Zoya’s(sameen) IV, where she said they didn’t shoot the whole drama coz of dates n covid, I think the story hasn’t changed much n they are mostly shooting continuity scenes.
Like the upcoming episode has “ishq nahi tha” scene of hala which we’ve seen in the teasers. It seems to happen just before SJ comes to take her to K. Maybe it was always meant to be this way?

For me, I still find hamza n hala both doing enough against each other n still doing enough for one another, if not equally.

Nothing can ever make up for the trauma hala has gone through, so her actions aren’t completely wrong. She isn’t going to turn clever in a few months of marriage n a partial support system. Hamza has a lot to apologise for n honestly he got more than what he deserves. He gets a gem like hala, she on the other hand ends up being tied down to the same house again with SJ.

If he can actually REDEEM n starts to undo his mum’s evil, hala can easily be truthful with him.

In the mean time hala shouldn’t lose her own priced virtue of not being a liar and try to be atleast truthful to some extend with hamza or else it’ll give birth to misunderstandings faster than she’ll give birth to her child.

This ended up being way longer.

Ps: also I don’t think hamza is gonna doubt hala in the next episode…it didn’t give any major implication that he will and it definitely didn’t look like the infamous humsafar scene to me…it just makes me hopeful that atleast Khurram will stop torturing hala.

And what else can she do but cry when no one believes her words. If makers are so adamant about giving hamza a major arc then they should start by making him do some major stuff, like finding out why exactly hala cries.

I agree most of your POV

As the title, the song and the flow of this show is happening, it is making sense why recent dialogues felt logical and stronger. Humza always had done uplifting the confidence of Hala, his saying that you must stand on your roots for fighting your rights. I would love to see that playing in upcoming episodes. Hamza has his own mind and he does what is right, I know in recent episodes it was shown that he did accuse Hala but we can't ignore that he is the one who reached the conclusion that his mother is a Psycho. He wanted to believe in that rather than thinking that his mother actually did all being a lunatic.

Every time Shahjahan does something bad or plan her evil tracks, at the end she is the one who falls in that pit.

So lets see...
