Saw both the episodes at once.
Honestly what the show gets right is the feeling and tenor of young love...when you are young and think that nothing will affect you and everything is invincible. And the class struggle was also established well, though I found the scenes of Maheer interacting with her cousin's friends to be quite cliched.
And for a change it's the heroine's mom who is a little grey, nice to see Salma ji like that...Akram uncle from Kaisi Teri Khudgarzi is also back as Maheer's dad😆
As of now I find Areeb to be quite slick and overconfident...and it was hinted by his friends that he's a little moody. Zaviyar has actually improved his performance in this show, though there is more room for improvement.
But my support is always for the talented Wahaj Ali...the man is underrated and deserves every bit of appreciation his way. As of now, Saad is a cliched moony and moping lover. Hope the show gives him more potential to perform henceforth and there are more shades to his character.
As for Maheer, I am just glad Hania is not made to cry gallons of tears right now🤣 But her role seems to be quite stereotypical- farmabardar, masoom, gharelu beti😆 I can see why she was charmed by Areeb in their first meeting. But it does not seem like it will be deep-rooted love...she is bemused by his attention and likes it ATM I presume.
The two dads are right about the point of not being lavish in weddings...but somehow the way the point was made, it gave the perception that they were being either jealous/sanctimonious.
The grey-haired stylish lady who plays the vampy modern saas is here as Areeb's mom. That does not bode well for Areeb/Maheer...so I am glad for that and I am rooting for Maheer/Saad as of now. The show is good timepass and for now, that will suffice😆
