Good that we agreed on Emraan Hashmi.
I agree ..clever vamps are interesting to watch , but I can't tolerate them either . Plus I am not a fan of Sana Javed..
I watched few dramas which have grey female leads.. I find them smart and real.. I can relate to some extent , but total negative and criminals .. I just can't digest them.
I even missed dramas which have my fav actors like Jalan (Emaad Irfani and Minal Khan).
Sometimes dramas portray strong and independant females as grey characters, which I don't agree with.. I enjoyed watching such dramas. 😃
I agree Sana isn't that good of an actor but her limitations in expression worked for dunk. The character wasn't supposed to show too much expressions and was cold and calculative. She looked the part perfectly.
Pak dramas have this tendency of showing opinionated strong women in negative light. Its like women has to be the whitest shade of white else she isn't worth it. Women cannot be materialistic or selfish at all in pak dramas. I guess the best example is sajal's character in o rangreza and how her character ended up. She was badtameez, rebellious and materialistic but not necessarily a bad person but still she ended up loosing herself at the end.
The only thing i liked about laapata is that even though ayeza's character was very selfish and materialistic she didn't end up having a miserable life at the end. That's very real. If every person with grey characteristics ends up having a miserable life then there won't be any politicians alive 😆. Even the good politicians will have some grey shades to them else they cannot survive. Human being regardless of gender have grey characteristics and some are more grey than others.
