I don't mind her thinking her brother is capable of that but right away going to commit suicide looked so out of character. If i am not wrong the girl never thought of committing suicide as a teenager after being cheated on by her bf and defamed infront of her family and entire society. She came such a long way after that incident and became so much stronger.
It definitely was better than almost all the current dramas but that suicide thing left a bad taste on my mouth. If not for the suicide i would have liked it as much as zgh and udaari. I have rewatched all the other dramas i mentioned and had a full heart after finishing them. There is a sense of satisfaction when i absolutely love a drama. I didn't get that feeling from yks.
I don't think she needs to have thought of suicide before to have it triggered again. It usually comes when someone has long-term depression and after whatever she had been through, she could have got it. It was obvious that she had started liking him. Most likely she was scared that Asfand would reject her after knowing the truth and this thought might have constantly played in her mind even before his brother came. That's why she didn't instantly agree with Asfandiyaar's proposal and when his brother came, it was a trigger that most likely made her feel that everything is over now, and then she tried to commit suicide. Even strong people will have their weak moments. Also, because someone considers suicide doesn't mean she is weak. It's usually a mental illness and anyone can have it.
But, there are shows, especially in Pakistani dramas, where villains especially commit suicide in the last episode or they go mentally unstable which doesn't make sense🤪.
