There are strict rules about converting to Islam and then returning to your first religion . But I don't think these rules are applied in India.

I know Dharam and Hema aren't muslims, they just miused the religion for their own selfish reasons. And I was sure that Dharam's first wife must be a beautifull woman..coz Panjab is famous of beautifull ppl .😳

recently triple talak was banned in india...it was huge victory for women.Am not sure about permission but most likely they might need it.

In india you can convert back and forth hence you must have heard about huge controversy about Christians converting people specially marginal and poor people. But issue is very controversial for this forum.

Ya Punjab has it's share of good looking people but nothing beats middle East and stunning people there .

About using religion it was very commonly abused...people just converted for sake of property and religious ceremony.Even saif 's mom sharmila tagore talks about how she is fully practicing hindu but for sake of inheritance and all she just fake converted..I mean openly.

Kishore Kumar did too when he married madhubala..it was so badly abused practice and people of all walks of life came together to stop the practice.

in India govt had to convince people by getting opinion from soudi Arabia..people were abusing . I am glad for women of India. It was such a burden and wrong morally and religiously.

In real life though hina for south Asian community I don't think 2 wives make sense at all.it is very hard to be fair to both.i mean in our countries one marriage is standard expected of someone.second marriage is odd and discussed as special circumstances.

I agree. If men are used to it, or think it is the only way talaq is given we must teach them about real Islamic rules and steps of talaaq. I think triple talaaq exsists only in India, Pakistan and maybe some nieghbor countries. Here none practises it unless he is a jaahil peeson. Men here give only one talaq coz they learned the correct way to give talaq is Islam. 😊

You are very sweet.🤗

I know and I am surprised. It is hypocrisy at its best. 🤔

I know many ppl men and women do the same, even here in Arabian countries.. christian men fake convert to get married to muslim women. 🤔 I know when you love someone you become helpless. Did you watch Bombay.. the movie? It is one of my most favorite romantic movies.😳 I though don't agree to a marriage between a muslim girl and non muslim guy..but at least they didn't show him faking Islam. They got married in the court. 😊

i agree, its a bad idea men just do it for their own selfish reasons but in the end they regret it and it becomes mentally exhausting for both husband and wives

thank god for that,I used to think how unfair it is for women.

Nikah film (salma agha one) first introduced it to Indian viewers and they were shocked lol .but in villages of UP and BIHAR it was/is a common practice, even in Lucknow AliGarh etc. it had become norm. Those were good ,culturally rich cities of India with Large muslim population.Muslim women of India really struggled to finally get it banned.even now if uneducated women get abused this way NGo's etc are trying to help and I think now there is jail time for doing triple talaq

yes ,it takes toll,I know some rich landlords who got this guy married for child. The new lady gave birth to 3 daughters, all legally adopted by first wife then finally had son,After that both she and husband asked for legal divorce from first wife, so he could legally marry second wife and boy child would be legally hers.I mean it was understandable from second wife point of view , but I understood first wife too.she said what value would I have in their life.So guy and his second wife got so angry that they stopped speaking to first wife.but that woman took a stand and refused to grant divorce.I mean the whole saga played out in the span of 20 years plus with so much emotional torture ....

Tbh 2 wife plot sucks big time and I have yet to see a proper and decent execution in any show yet

I have a question for you and everyone else in this thread....

would you ever allow your husband to do second marriage if he had a valid reaosn to do so and was still treating you good and giving you your rightse? For example, to have kids or support a needy person? If you were weak/ill and knew you could not fulfil his rights?
