I don't know why people are surprised with what Danish said on TV the other day. Danish Taimoor is a Muslim. He has the right to marry multiple times. He didn't lie on TV. Their marriages are a contract unlike Hindu marriages which are monogamous and meant for life and beyond that.
The women and girls in the Muslim community should reflect on this, it shouldn't concern or matter to the rest of us.
It's their religion. No offense mean to anyone.
Unfortunately, because such men like danish, people have misconception about four marriages in Islam. Yes, Muslim men have permission to marry four times but there are term and conditions. Also marriage is a Sunnah in Islam, and Sunnah is Related to our most beloved Prophet, so it can't be contract. It is a sacred relationship which is meant for life.
