I feel like banging my head against a wall everytime Areesh calls up Daneen or talks about her..HE was the one who broke the relationship..and now is just acting so damn wierd ughhh! There was zero sympathy from him when Daneen was begging and crying and ready to make all compromises to be with him..and now look at his audacity of guilt tripping her or EB-ing her. Stay away from the girl ughh!

Saif is class A annoyance..eww, I get the creeps..every time he is on screen

Altamash and Izza scenes continue to be eye pleasing, but yes even I agree that him physically threatening that model girl was scary and I am totally not in favour of all this gunda giri..-_- It was nice to see the softer side of him in the school <3

I can now understand why Izza is sort of allergic to him..he has made a couple of mistakes..he could have stopped the wedding, he could have forced Ania to just give up, he knew how deep Areesh was into Daneen, but that kind of short sighted-ness was not expected from Altu. Also him second hand forcing things on Izza is also a downer..stalking her etc etc..

It would be nice to see him taming his ways down a bit..in all honesty I find Izza really sensible for the most part..

At the moment seeing Altamash's activities, I will take the risk of saying that his love is not really deep. Meaning, there is attraction, infatuation but he still loves himself more. His pride and ego, his views and ideas always takes the first priority and he also fails to see the error of his ways. It stems from the fact that he has always been his own master and now, to put someone before himself is being hard.

Someone made mention of Darcy and Lizzzy parallel, I agree but will also add that he's like the Darcy of the first half, one who was self absorbed, someone who was extremely sure that his proposal would be accepted. That there isn't a possibility of being turned down.

Here, Altamash has the self awareness that he is a great catch and hence, there is a carelessness that I notice in his pursuing of Izzah. A disregard for her feelings and family members and her situations.

There needs to be some kind of setback, some realization, some more development , a single special moment that changes everything, (like even though Zaroon had somewhat retrogressive thinking, his love was convincing, the chai scene proved it) Until then I will have my reservations.

And a gentleman is a gentleman with every woman, irrespective of the fact who's in front of him. He should know his limits.

Also, even in other relationships, he doesn't put enough input like his sister was committing the biggest mistake of her life, he advised her and then left it at that. No restlessness, no trying to put some sense.

His friend was heartbroken, Altamash knew that there could be no one for Areesh other than Daneen, he should have paired up with Izzah to bring them closer, or something like that, but he didn't do anything of that sort.

Maybe he was respecting their decisions but it seemed to me, he adopted a no interfering policy, which he shouldn't have had, IMO. They are family. He should have tried harder.

He doesn't bend his ways for anyone so I am waiting to see his depth of love for Izzah.

I feel like there is serious lack in writing or maybe editing. The two parallel narratives going on seem fairly divorced from one another in a weird way. Like Altamash is all up in Izza's business but he didn't bother to go the extra mile to save his sister from self sabotage. I vaguely remember someone posting a picture or mentioning how Ania gets pregnant so if that's the case then there's definitely no way we'll see her becoming her own person or maybe just maybe the child becomes the driving force and she finally decides to move on from her farcical marriage.

One thing that really irks me about Izza is that her dialogues with Altamash are so repetitive. Like at this point I'd want them to start developing some understanding rather than the superficial we're not for each other type of a thing.

As much as I find Altamash's character to be problematic, he has screen presence. I'd like to see more of him, preferably in meatier roles. Idk if its the character or his acting, but he kind of has the same stoic reaction.

I really like Daneen. Tries her best to compromise and move on but the toxic people around her just don't let that happen. Asking a little of Saif's time wasn't unreasonable, the girl is human and needs companionship. I'd like to see either Saif improving (not happening) or just leaving both men behind. She deserves better.

The show could have used more work on the script. Repetitive dialogues and that cough syrup scene was just weird with izza/altamash meetings sometimes coming off as random and abrupt. As for the dad not approving of their relationship, I can understand why. He's seen the sort of people his wife's family is and he's seen how his wife tried to use Areesh/Daneen/Saif for her own gains makes him fear that his daughter's future is being played with to settle scores.

That man handling by Altamash has dropped him from the high and mighty position he has been maintaining up until now....Getting physical with women, no matter how terrible they happen to be, is neither attractive nor acceptable!

Yep yep, no matter how amazing he is in all other aspects, that scene was reeeeally something unexpected of him! Being physical doesn't just put you down as a man, it just brings your respect level down to a whole new bar..no matter what the situation.
