Love the cast. I have been an admirer of sorts of Ushana, and Iqra too. But how about Kiran Haq? Why does she get this step-sibling treatment from the makers? She is so lovely, tailor-made for a heroine's part and she can be evil, sassy and funny too. When I see child-like girls like Sajal, Hina Altaf, Aiman, and Yumna being cast opposite manly looking men like Bilal and Zahid, I keep wondering why Kiran Haq is not considered more? She is stunning, and so much more believable opposite these men. Even opposite Emmad Irfani, she would be so believable. Sigh! I guess makers are just blind and indulge in warped groupthink. Naveen used to be another actress who'd get such step-treatment. But fortunately, things started to turn around for her but why not for Kiran? It is so infuriating seeing a really child-like girl like Yumna opposite Zahid. He needs a womanly woman like Kiran. Really!
PS- I know that Iqra and Hania look very young but somehow, they can look sexy opposite these men, unlike Yumna and Sajal who, in spite of being good performers, have a very 14-year old girl's look to them. So I like them best opposite boyish looking actors like Ahmed Ali and Dr. Afsi. I mean, while I liked Khali Haath, it seemed so nonsensical that someone would be obsessed with Aiman while being married to Kiran (and the fact that she looked so drop-dead-gorgeous in every scene of the show did not help render matters more believable, I thought). The makers need better casting directors, I think.
BTW Hina Altaf does look cute opposite the adorable Faizan :-) I think Aiman and Minal would also look good with him. Faizan, Dr. Afsi, Kaabil actor, Umer Nero, and Ahmed Ali are the boyish looking heroes who would do well opposite the girlish looking ladies like Sajal, Yumna, Hina and Aiman/Minal.
