My only complaint of watching an ongoing show is the week long wait..😆
As per the dates on the videos, the show airs every Friday. So if everyone's interested
& willing, we could discuss each episode during the week.

Quite the opposite actually! 😆 I can count on one hand how many doctor characters I've come across in Pakistani shows. 😉 If you're willing to watch a classic, then Dhoop Kinarey was the best doctor-inspired show I've come across in the East. 👍🏼 You'd be amazed at the simplicity of the show! I'm not sure who Ahad's dad is in Parchayee, but I do know that he is a part of the show. 😊 We'll have to make a new thread for Parchayee because this thread has gotten quite long. 😳

Very interesting.

I actually loved that scene because of the combination of Ahad's portrayal of distress coupled with something as significant as the Hippocratic oath which emphasized his conflicting emotions as both a brother and a physician whose moral obligation is to save a life first and foremost.

I love the last hospital scence between Asfi and Zubi. Asfi is such a wonderful character. Haan mein thoda naraz hoon. Bas itna his bharosa tha... Very beautiful.. Such love and bonding last till the end of life.

There were two dialogues that stood out most to me from this show. Both were incredibly deep in their context.

"Log sabhi achai hothai hai, bas Khuda bura waqt na layai."- Azfi to his mother on Fariyal's return

"Agar insaan sai koi ghalti ho jaye aur agar uss ghalti keh ehsaas honai par hum Allah sai maafi maangai, toa woh maaf kar deta hai na?" "Haan." "Lekin insaan nahi maaf kartha. Woh baar baar humari ghaltiyaan humarai gunnah humare saamne laatha hai." - Zubi to her father after attending a relative's wedding

These two dialogues made me teary-eyed because they're both so true. They both touch upon the hypocrisy prevalent in today's society and how people's attitudes ultimately reflect their opinions of you. 😭

I loved the last hospital scene as well! Very well enacted by both and the dialogues were perfect. 👏

oh, DAZZ, I loved the 'log' dialogue. If you see people from this POV in real life, situations become easier to handle and the second one is so very true. This is people's mindset, uneducated to highly educated always remember the mistake first. These are how most of the brains are wired..

I watched the second episode because my mom had already watched the first. 😆 I plan on catching up on the first episode as well, but I have an idea of the gist of the story. Excited for you to watch as well, Ami! 😃 Can't wait to begin our discussions! ☺️
