anyways, i had literally been in shock for a moment reading this, thank god Nida u clarified about it .. and its not necessary that every great actor gets a seat in that row, otherwise unbeatable actors like sanam baloch and faysal qureshi would be the first ones to get a seat there.. its more about being a complete stunner, having a mass appeal along with good acting which Fawad Mahira has .. so yeah audience and even the channel likes them ..

i feel even Humayun saeed and saba qamar has a good appeal , and they are the one who also can have a popular fanbase like Fawad-Mahira has currently

we don't see Sanam baloch sitting in the first row because she never ever attends award shows and don't tell me faysal was not sitting in the the first row. I am not a huge fan of faysal but I know for a fact that Faysal is like THE Faysal qureshi of Pakistan. He is one of the most popular actors of Pak A superstar and has a huge like a very huge fan following.

I don't think you know who Faisal Qureshi really is. Faisal Qureshi is one of the most popular actors to have come out of Pakistan. He's not only a great actor, but an extremely popular one. He gets the front seat wherever he goes because he earns it. He hasn't worked for Humtv in the past 3 or 4 years yet got a front seat because his caliber commands it. And no, Faisal Qureshi is way more popular than any of the people you've mentioned. Faisal Q has been catering to the masses all the way up to the elite classes etc through his work over the past two decades. An elitist would know who Faisal Q is along with the rikshay-wala down the street. That can not be said about all our mainstream actors especially not those who primarily work for Humtv which is a channel not everyone in the country even has. Faisal Qureshi has NOT worked for Humtv in the past 4 years and has produced brilliant performances that have been recognized and yes, through awards..and yes, he has even beaten these young guys in many popular categories. None of the other tv actors would've survived without Humtv if that were the case with them...especially not some of the actors who you think have huge "mass appeal". Mass appeal is when you can do a show on any channel on Pakistan and walk away with a clean hit because you're genuinely a great artist...and that is ONLY Faisal Qureshi. Others may include Noman Ejaz, Saba Qamar and some of the other senior artists..but certainly not the people you have in mind.

And Sanam Baloch doesn't attend these awards..never has.

Faisal Qureshi is one of the few people who can go up on stage and tell Humtv to use Pakistani songs during their award shows rather than Bollywood ones and still not give a crap about what anyone thinks because Humtv needs him..he doesn't need Humtv or any other channel and never has. Or else who'd conduct their game show every week that is for the masses which they specifically hired Faisal Q for which competes with Fahad and Amir Liaqat's show on ARY and Geo respectively...

Maria Wasti was dropped out of Hum awards this year because she said she wants to present the Best actor award and wants a business class ticket from Emirates to travel to Dubai.. Hum said best actor will be awarded by seniority and you're no where there plus everyone is getting economy so no business for you and they dropped her.. but then she's like okay I'll travel economy, so they let her come.. LOLOL
