The SA thing: Women are probably allowed out and about on their own although they probably have to wear an abaya and hijab. However they are not allowed to drive. So if they want to go anywhere using a car they need a mahram.

That's what I've heard/read on the news.

It's sad to see what the Royal family have done to SA. In fact it's really sickening.

Though i agree with your choice, i dont agree with your justification. One does not have to like a drama or for that matter anything, simply because of the country of origin. You could like all paki serials for all reasons except that it is your country, your people.

I am an indian but i like paki serials for its drama value. Me not liking indian serials is nothing unpatriotic.
Of all the things, art in any and all forms are beyond borders and boundaries. Good piece of work should always be appreciated no matter what country, what language. Yes you and i do not care for dubbed turkish serials but TM likes it. It is only fair for him to compare indian, paki and turkish drama as it is for yiu to compare paki and indian. Opinion stated in peaceful manner are not bashing IMO.

Live n let live..😊

I understand, and I know not everyone is fortunate enough to live in compounds...I knew people who lived in private villas and apartments and yes they needed someone to take them around...thats why we opted for compound, since my husband was always on business trips...and I knew a few gori's who loved the life in SA and didnt mind the abaya at all, actually loved it since they used to go to the malls in their pajama's, thanks to the abaya😆

I wouldnt mind wearing abaya either, as im already used to wearing hijab...but the thing is not everyone wears hijab/abaya and people shouldn't be forced to
Even though Hijab is an obligation, forcing someone to do it is not allowed.
People there should be allowed to make their own choices.

I know! Thats not even Islam. Even our Prophet's wife Khadija was a business woman, and now they think that a woman shouldn't be allowed to do a job.
They are not following Islam! Such hypocrites!
