It was clearly evident that Neha was living in nothing less than a hell hole in Regents.
Getting harassed and drugged on what seemed like a daily basis!
And some of us were even having doubts if the Paanch ever had anything to do with her death and thank god for the "Truth serum" episode our convictions were right...Roy drugged her,Nihal captured videos of her bathing, Zara mutilated her and Gauri even confessed that she was responsible for Neha's death on camera.
What were the parents thinking letting their daughter go through such things? Roshini was aware of everything that was happening but why couldnt she pressurize her parents to bring her only sis back home? Then one fine day everything just happened!
I am sorry to say that I find it highly unlikely that neither the victim nor her kin were eager enough to do a last ditch attempt from the college. Not at all convincing.
But this is a show afterall. And that all this was shown to have happened only to give leverage to Roshini's intentions since this story is about taking revenge from the five.
And Gauti! His convictions were justified to not be present for Roy's match because obviously he hurt his girlfriend. Why couldnt he do the same for Neha? If what he claims that he loved Neha is true he would have atleast done something right! Dont know when the CVs would show what Gauti's part was and what the gang had actually to do with Neha...

Well..it is possible neha was afraid to go back...I mean a lot of financial investment is made when we go to university and to just walk back home like that is difficult for me as a student..not to mention the fact that telling on them would have done neha no good: bade baap ka beta is on their side.im not saying that suicide was the only option for neha...but I just cannot imagine what else I could do...and roshni was a kid at the time! She didnt have any authority...and her neha kept telling her she could handle it...roshni idolised her sisters bravery so she probably decided to let her do her thing. The more I think about it, the more helpless I feel for neha. What really could she have done, in ur opinion?
And gauti. I personally really strongly belive he killed neha. If not by directly pushing her over, then indirectly. Either that or he was a coward and nehas death has made him want to put his foot down.

I know what you are saying is justified ...
Even so they could have done something to bring her back home atleast and forgotten about filing case against the paanch considering Yudi's father's hand...
And it happened last year only...Roshini wasnt that young...if u remember carefully Gauti said he lost one year because he was emotionally disturbed due to Neha's death...
This is just my P.O.V though...

i agree with u after watching last episode...my god Neha wasn't just stressed, her health was in a bad state and roshni didn't do much.
but ur also right that this is a show after all, the reason they commit flaws is that they keep showing flashbacks..and it looks like they don't have the story prepared for Neha...to make it look convincing.

all said and done..the show is still good...all it needs is a push.

yeah, thats a good point...rosh shouldnt have kept silent. that part was stupid, but...i was just trying to justify the actions of the show...i guess walking away would have been the sensible thing to do...but yaar, neha would have been supremely traumatized, even if she was away from those paanch. im sure some1 has gone thru this sort of torture in real life also and i really respect their courage.
yeah, i know roshni was just a year younger, but that wasnt what i meant. i meant the kind of emotional growth..roshni was a darpok, someone who looked to her sister for strength and was under the impression that the world is a good place. neha's death made her grow up and see the dark side. and gauti well...like i said i find him extremely suspicious, but if we look at him like a victim, then also i feel that the loss made him stronger some how. he didnt realise what his sister and her gang's actions could do and now he doesnt want to see the same happen to rosh. but srsly, i doubt he's innocent. maybe hes the dude who pushed her over the edge.

👍🏼
its rather weird that when someone is tortured so much her own blood is quiet about it!
that is unrealistic but its fiction after all.

Its true that the way they are showing Neha's state being ridiculous because of the Paanch and Roshni just being the whole of scene's viewer is a little wierd but i don't think its unrealistic because till now in all the fb's of Neha..where she said abt Paanch torturing her..she also mentioned that she is not weak and will not let them win over herself with their cruelty. And in Nihaal's case, Roshni did ask her sister too come back but it was Neha who insisted to fight back and by being a school girl and a little sis...Rosh did all that she could do..sympathise and thats what a little sis could do and moreover Neha even hid the fact of her being drugged by Roy from Roshni so all I think is that some serious steps were not taken by Neha's family because Neha herself wanted to sulk in loneliness and fight back. This is completely my view guys.

Word to everything you said!
Roshni wasn't that young. She wasn't a five year old that she couldn't do anything. In fact, if my calculations are correct, Neha was only a year older than Roshni. I find it ridiculous that she knew everything and did nothing that could have helped the situation. Especially since Roshni and Neha shared such a close bond. I know Neha wanted to be brave, she made her sister give her word that she would never tell anybody anything. But what I can't believe is that in such a situation, Roshni stood by her word. Her sister was almost dying in front of her eyes! Why the hell would you not tell anybody about it?! Is a stupid promise more important than your sister's life? She wasn't so immature that she could not grasp the seriousness of the situation!
And I don't know what sort of bravery they wanted to portray! Not telling your own family that you are being abused every single day in college is a synonym for courage? Maybe she did not want to run away. But why did she not inform the college authorities? And by authorities, I don't mean Mishra. I mean the Principal. Or maybe the Student's Union? Why did she not involve the police? Why did she not involve her own father, for god's sake!
Speaking of her father, where does that man live? Planet Mars?! He seems to have absolutely no clue about either of his daughters. Neha was tortued so brutally. He had no clue. Did he never want to have video chats with his daughter, too? Like Roshni? And now his other daughter is in the same college, when she's supposed to be in the U.S. And he's blissfully unaware! What nonsense is this! Oh, but he knows that Nikhil loves Roshni! Way to go!
I know that the makers wanted to focus on the revenge aspect only. But these things could have been handled in a far more convincing way.

I agree that there was little done to rescue Neha from the torture but lets check some facts here.
Rosh is definitely repentant that she did not take that seriously and has put so many things on stake to redeem the same but then the events look perfectly logical to me as this often happens in real life that kids don't tell many a thing to parents, lest they got worried. or even better, if they do, they are shooed off by parents saying the kid is making excuses or being fussy which leads to disastrous consequences
Neha didn't want her father to know about her issues as it would stress him all the more. Remember guys many people still think Ragging to be something very petty which seniors do just to break the ice with juniors, or if we go a bit further, some are of the opinion that some humiliating ragging ends up making those who survive it, turn into mentally strong people ready to face real problems.
Neha did think that this is just a phase which would pass soon and hence asked Rosh to not take things seriously.
No one actually anticipated that Neha could end up killing herself (Rosh, still doesn't know what happened that night)
Even in the drug case it was Roy's confession that made Rosh put two and two together that Neha's bad condition was due to the drugs.
The show is meant to portray that ragging is something meant to be taken seriously and one is not making a mountain of a molehill by reporting even a petty case as any thing starting off as small could turn out huge anyday.

most of the time jinke sath ye sab hota hai vo directly apnr parents ko nahi batate its fact n rosh n neha thought the same
n rosh always insists neha to come back bt neha did not
i think she thought that she will handle herself bt conditions get worst
this is my pov
