Oh how sweet. I really feel for kailash now. I can see how deep he s in love with deepa. I cant wait for the next chapter so u wotn post the chapter tomorow then so sad so we hav to wait two days for it its long. pls post two chapters together if u dont com onlin tomorow.

I see a tiny ray of hope Jiggly, with it probably broadening in the next chapter. Hope Kailash untangles himself from all this mess and wins over Deepa's trust completely.

CHAPTER 54

kailash drove back home, his heart & mind flooded with memories of deepa & the times he spent with her. their love had gone through so many hurdles but this seemed to be the biggest hurdle till date. misunderstanding after misunderstanding had torn them apart but kailash felt that if they were meant to be, deepa would be finally his. he went back home & changed into his comfy pyjamas. yawning tiredly, kailash plopped himself on his bed. he lay on it & the vivid memory of the night he spent with deepa flashed in his mind. he touched the bed & felt deepa's warmth there. she seemed to be just there, in the same room with him. "why did you have to leave me?" kailash stroked the bed sheets sadly. he was suddenly overwhelmed by emotions. a tear fell onto the sheet & kailash wiped it away slowly. he missed deepa more so badly that every cell in his body cried out for her. with all those depressing thoughts, kailash drifted into a dreamless disturbed sleep.

deepa was awakened very rudely at 5am by a incessant rapping on her front door followed by some heavy banging. "oy deepa! wake up!!!" a voice shouted at her. deepa woke up in the midst of all that noise. "I wonder who that is? it's 5 in the morning!" deepa grumbled as she shuffled sleepily to the door. she opened it to reveal ajay standing there looking disturbed. "what happened ajay? why are you here so early in the morning?" deepa's sleepiness quickly turned into worry. "deepa, you've got to come with me! kailash has had an accident!" ajay told her seriously. "what????" deepa shouted & she rushed into her room to get dressed. she pulled on a simply black salwar & rushed away with ajay. tears were streaming down her face & deepa couldn't hold them back. her worry about what might have happened to kailash increased every moment. ajay shot her a curious glance but drove hastily to their destination. to deepa's surprise, ajay stopped at the deserted beach. "ajay? why are we stopping here?? aren't we supposed to be going to the hospital?" deepa asked him, her face terribly confused. "no deepa. I lied to you. kailash is safe & sound. I had to speak that lie because I wanted to know a truth. would you step out of the car for a moment?" he opened the car door & deepa stepped out.

"can you please tell me what's going on?" she begged ajay worriedly. "nothing much vidya. I needed to clarify something with you & I found my answer already." ajay told her with a sad face. "what? what are you talking you talking about ajay? I don't understand.." vidya seemed even more confused. "vidya, I wanted to find out how much kailash meant to you. you really do love him very much don't you? I could see it on your face, in your tears & pain." ajay looked at deepa in the eye. she looked away embarrassed that the fact she'd been trying to hide had come to light. "I saw how kailash helped you on the road. he came back even though you refused him. I myself was worried about you & decided to come after you when I saw that kailash was already there beside you." ajay continued explaining. deepa's eyes filled with tears & shame. "I had a doubt about how close you were with kailash, so I decided to test it out. and I was right. you're in love with kailash but are marrying me. why deepa? why are you deceiving me like that?" he yelled at her suddenly.

deepa related the entire story to ajay who stood there listening intently. "so you're marrying me because you want to take revenge on kailash? deepa that is such a silly reason. maybe you should listen to him once." ajay coaxed her gently. "I've already been hurt enough ajay. I can't forgive him! but does this mean that you don't want to marry me?" she questioned him. "no deepa.. I want to marry you. I love you so much that I can't imagine marrying another girl. but if it's kailash whom you love, then how can you be happy with me?" ajay asked her gently. "please don't talk about him. if you don't want to marry me, it's fine but please don't force me to reconcile with kailash." deepa turned away crying bitterly. "ssshhh.. deepa please don't cry!" ajay hugged her while she cried into his shirt. as dawn broke, ajay realised that he had to do something about deepa before she totally cracked. her love for kailash was hurting her too much.

Brilliant chapter, Leena. 👏 Very kind of Ajay to ask about Deepas feelings, but I think he only asked for his own sake. Deepa is taking the wrong steps now..poor girl.

I agree with you Meli, that Ajay has something up his sleeve but it's very good of Leena to write a chapter in this way Hands up!

Nice chapter Leena; I can see that you are showing a different shade of Ajay now. If he really cares about Deepa, hopefully he'll do something about her true love.

Oh BTW, Is your next fanfic's character's name Vidya 😉
You've got Deepa's name as Vidya in the 3rd paragraph. Just a doubt... he he..

Wow what a fantastic chapter nd can't belev ajay sometimes nd deepa s taking wrogn steps nd wht ajay said s true she jus marrying ajay to tak revenge on kailash. well we will see wht hapeens next cant wait for the next chapter.
