Unfortunately this new show lacks the charm of the original as the main leads are missing...if Iqbal and Neha had been there it would have been perfect! 😳
Ekta cannot create magic with R-K as magic cannot be recreated...it only happens once! 😳

I jus wanna point out that KYPH started in 2005... within the 2 years there will clearly be a great change in the way the TV shows are executed.... and u said how they have sizzling chemistry... i guess like we don't see that chemistry in ur Robbie and Kasturi... u don't see the chemistry in AK... i guess it jus depends on taste and what ur in touch with....

other wise... u have to admit that the concept is the sameeee .... as welll...... I guess it's ur opinion in the last statement... but an opinion remains an opinion... not a fact... I would like to reiterate ur line by saying

KYPH was probably not better in treatment.... but indeed for us... a notch higher in actors.

Nothing can beat Iqbal-Neha's chemistry, if you ask me. One reason the show did so well also was the actor's age. Neha was the tender age of 19 and Iqbal just the right age of 26 or something. Kasturi looks older and I don't think she can portray the same innocence Kripa had, although Kasturi is pretty too.

actually sonp... in KYPH's case...

the lead pair's chemistry alone brought the show to such great heights.... which couldn't ahev happened if they didn't have a good story and good direction to back them up...

and if u really do think the story line and direction was weak then let me just say...

Iqbal and Neha's chemistry brought the show to such great heights, now imagine if all that it was missing according to you was there.... then no show could even come in close competition of it...

and jus as a side note... though our Angad couldn't dance... his presence was enough... and also... both Angad and Kripa emoted beautifully with their eyes... if they hadn't then there wouldn't have been soooooo many die-hard fans of their chemistry 😳 😳 😳

There are some similarities but Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai & Kasturi are totally different shows. Robbie is a rockstar like Angad but Robbie didn't believe in love bcoz he had seen his parents relationship which was not the case with Angad. Raunak knows Robbie-Kasturi love each other & infact he was the one who made both realize their feelings for each other unlike Prithvi who was under this misconception that Kripa loved him. Kripa was in love with Angad from the start & dreamed of becoming a singer while Kasturi took up a job to earn money for her father's treatment.

In other words just bcoz the show or the characters remind you of some other show/character that doesnot mean they are one & the same. Every show/character is different & they stand out from one another in respective ways.

Couldn't have said it better Shruti!👏 Even though I have loved kyph, besides the rockstar part, Kasturi and Kyph are drastically different! Personally I feel Robbie-Kasturi do share electrifying chemistry and so do Angad and Kripa. 😳

kyph was far better than kasturi..sorry it is my personal opinion..and Kyph was interesting for its lead pair no doubt..Iqbal and Neha did wonderful job.and their chemistry is THE BEST chemistry in Television History.story of kyph and kasturi is more all same..

We cannot deny that there have been many many scenes common in KYPH and Kasturi, afterall both shows come from Balaji, its quite possible.

Story is not exactly the same..but due to the common scenes many of kyph fans would feel that its linked to kyph..

talking abt both shows is okay, even to the characters its okay..

but please do not compare actors in both shows.. 😳

I havent really wathched Kasturi except for a few episodes while I was waiting for another show to come on, but I've seen many promo's.

The concepts are really the same, and the storyline is basically following in the same manner too. Yes, the details might be different, but the basic's of the show are the same.

Ekta concepts are all the same after a certain point in time, but in the begining they all come in as originals.With Kasturi, in my opinion, from the begining it was seen as a KYPH remake.

But, maybe I'm being biased since I am a KYPH fan, but Kasturi cant come close to KYPH. See, it was KYPH that brought the whole bad boy good girl concept back. It was the original. And, I mean the way the characters were made, showing that nobody was perfect and everyone in the show made mistakes.

Maybe technical wise Kasturi is better, since well...they learned from their mistakes in KYPH, but the basic essence isnt there.

In the end, KYPH was made possible for Angad and Kripa. I mean, There's only one Angad. His complex emotions, his love, his eye's! And only one Kripa, with her innocence, and determination, and her smile. From the acting to the chemistry, KYPH was a winner.

Of course, to Kusturi fans, it is different. And I would say, they know better since they actually watch the show. But in the long run, it's still really a remake of KYPH. Atleast to me. I cant speak for others. 😊

Kasturi isnt a bad show---this isnt about bad show-good show....its a fact that Kasturi story is lifted almost straight from KYPH...some of the dialogs and scenes were identical! 😆 😆
Of course Raunak is different from Prithvi who was a chipkoo who ran after Kripa whereas Raunak is a true friend to both R-K!
I actually like this new show but I find Kasturi very disappointing...she looks too old and mature for the role! 😕
She doesnt have Neha's beauty or innocence. Karan isnt as good-looking as early Angad but hes a very good dancer and has expressive eyes too.
I dont like Kasturi's acting.Her tears look fake! Rupa Ganguly and Devika (Robbie's mom) steal the show with their acting! 👏

Kasturi is a mix of KTH and KYPH actually! 😆

Robbie and Raunak are good too...in looks and acting!
But the show doesnt have the charm/sizzle/intensity of KYPH! 😕
KYPH was really intense! I-N really were the hottest couple on TV! 😳 😳
What intensity! What drama! 👏
Im sorry I didnt find this same drama or intensity in Kasturi!
