Angel's mood was not that great from the day.. Karthik refused to go with her for the resort..how much she tried to gain his attention and get along with him but nothing seem working in her favor..for her he was like a hero, savior, charmer and what not...who saved her from the ragging of the seniors in the first day of the college..ever since that incident she had developed feelings for him..but for Karthik she was no different from other male friends of his..he never showed interest in her the way she craves..but given to his reserved nature she ought to be satisfied atleast with the friendly way he treats her..she never seen him talking to any other girls in the college ,in fact that quality of him attracted her more towards him...all her college life had just rolled out with her yearning one sided love , the thing which frustrated her more was that Karthik not even had a single cue of her feelings irrespective of all her subtle attempts...but she had no courage to confess her feelings to him ,dreading that she might have lose his friendship too if he come to know her true feelings..so she had no other choice than to resuming his friendship atleast, which she can't afford to lose at any cost...

After they finished the college she had lost track of him ...however she tried hard to reach him , it was elusive to catch his number because he had no close friends and had curbed the contact with everyone..he had disappeared as if he vanished in thin air...so she herself concluded that he might have gone to abroad to pursue his dream of doing masters ...but she didn't forget him ..at the bottom of her heart she harbored feelings for him and waited for him to show up and led her life gulping down her pain deep inside her heart..her years of prayers had been answered when she heard from one of her friends that Karthik was working in Nettech..her happiness knew no boundaries..she felt that she was reborn as fresh ...

With high hopes and dreams she came to Nettech ..but the day one itself she had found out that he is not the same Karthik from the college days ..though he was still the same old Karthik ignoring girls and self centered aloof man..now he had turned into a rock man cannot be persuaded in anyway ,but something about his attitude towards Raji left her puzzled...as soon as she comprehended his feelings towards Raji..jealously burnt her alive..she thrived to get his attention hanging around with him..but she could not approach an inch closer to him..it seemed he had drawn an invisible line around him and not allowing anyone to invade..

Her dream of capturing a place in his heart seemed unfeasible and her hope diminishes day by day..

At this time, she happened to hear the conversation of Karthik and Vishnu..and her desired heart which was hopelessly in love with Karthik ,had found a way to take advantage of the situation in her favor..

Her gut feelings said if it is not now then it can be never..she didn't afford to lose the final opportunity which has fallen in her hands without any of her effort ..

Though she knew it was immoral and evil but she was not in a position to think which is right and which is wrong..she resolute to get him for herself by hook or crook.. "yes..I have to make use of this situation..what if I have started the relationship with a lie..but I am sure I can win over his heart later with my true love for him..I will make him to fall for me once he started to look me as his girl..all I need to have is some patience..in which I already did masters"

Building a dream castle in air she decided to tell a lie that she was the love from his past, thanks to his amnesia ..somehow she had an uncanny feeling that if she let him talk to Raji then that would be the end of her love (lie)story..so she decided to act smart as well as sly.

Raji was sipping the coffee in a daze..of late she had become very calm and quiet which was unlike her nature..sometimes even she feels dizzy with all the things twirling around..

"Why all of a sudden my life changed so pathetically..?"she wondered

At one night she was over the moon but in the next morning she had been thrown into a free fall down the earth hitting the rock bottom...Everything turned upside down over the night..

"What the hell happened to him that night..?Is he having a split personality or something..?What wrong did I do?" she had bunch of questions bickering ,but god only knows the answer..it seems the only person having answers to all her questions giving her cold shoulder..

She tried every possible way to get things clear between them..but every attempt went in vain as he rebuffed her with no certain terms..and her heart lurched every time him giving her a cold shoulder and it was kinda disdain to her...

How could a single hand makes the sound..if they were to come in terms or reconciliation ..or whatever she knew one sided effort won't yield any results.. whereas his stubbornness doesn't seemed to be broken easily..

She was fed up with all her chasing him around wherever he goes and shunned by him like a dirt stuck on his way..her self esteem repels and rebels to go after him anymore..she has started to withdrawn now..she stopped running after him like a puppy as it kind of freaking her out.. and she despised herself for being so pathetic..

It would have been better if she had not seen him and waited for him all her life rather than standing as strangers like now..if he was to switch to such a cold hearted jerk then why should he behaved so nicely to her the day before..it would have been easy for her to take his rejection if he stayed in his usual Hitler self..now it seemed impossible for her to take his rejections after experiencing him being nice to her.

So many thoughts were dashing like waves into her mind..and she was sinking in those whirlpool of emotions...her trance had been broken when she felt someone sitting on the opposite chair..her eyes widened in shock seeing Karthik over there...

""OMG..I have even started hallucinating in the bright day light.."she flapped her eyelids to get rid of her day dream...

But he didn't disappear ..instead he was tracing the rim of the coffee mug in his hand..

He looked very nervous ..

"May be by mistake he landed up here.." She sighed in distress..and got up leave..

But stopped by his call..

"Raji.."

"Am I really heard him call my name?"she was not sure because the call was barely audible..she looked at him skeptically, he looked elsewhere but her..

"He didn't call me.."she made up her mind and turned to leave again..

"Raji..."this time the beckon was little louder and edgy..

She looked at him with astonished eyes..as if asking "did u really called my name?"

He nodded his head ..as if answering her unsought question..

"Pls sit..I want to talk to u.."

She can't even believe her own ears..she sat like a doll all stupefied with a agape..

He didn't talked immediately it seemed he was searching for the right words to start the conversation..she waited impatiently with a thudding heart for him to open up..

"mm...Raji..can I ask u something..?"

"Like what?"

"you said,We knew each other well in the past right?"

"Yes..."her mouth replied where her mind wondering why he was curious about their past all of a sudden..?

"Can u pls enlighten me.. what type of the relation existed between us then?"he staggered while asking ..

Raji's heart thudded rapidly.. "why he was asking this question ,where he himself told her to not bring up that topic between them...? by any chance..Is he wanted to sort things out?"

She was excited and a slight hope peeked out in her heart..atleast he was showing some interest to know about their past this could be a positive sign ..

"But what answer should I give ,as it wouldn't look too much exaggerated ..at the same time that should be acceptable..?" inhibiting her fluttering heart, before she could frame the perfect sentence her ..thought was out rightly cut out by Angel's voice..

"Karthik.."

Both of them looked in that direction to be welcomed by the sight of Angel rushed to karthik with anxious all plastered in her face..

Karthik stood up from his seat seeing .. a pathetic expression on her face..and an urgency in her voice..

"What happened Angel?" karthik asked in surprise..

She looked at him with so much of empathy and her eyes pooled..

"I am sorry Karthik ..i am really sorry ..how stupid I am ?I knew u were weird since the time we met here..then I thought it was because u were mad on me..but not even in my dreams I have imagined that u have lost ur memory..I am sorry Karthik..how ignorant I was.."

She would have kept on continuing her rattling unless it was for karthik's stern voice stopped her..

"How did u know?"he asked in a cold voice looking at her skeptically ..

Angle stammered a little seeing his indignant look..but gathered some courage to lie looking straight into his sharp penetrating gaze..

"Yep, It happens me to overhear ur conversation with Vishnu a while ago.." her voice showed no regrets..that surprised Karthik even more..

"Karthik..five years before,after we finished our college..nee sollama kollaama kaanaama poita without leaving any trace to track u,u know how much I was worried and cried thinking of u..unnai kandu pidikira varaikkum yenakku uyire illai theriyumaa?aanaa unnai paarthadhukkappuram nee namma pathi onnume pesaama irundhadhu yenakku romba shocking aa irundhadhu,un kitta manasu vittu pesanum nu dhaan unnai mahabalipuram trip ku koopiten..but u declined that too.. ..I even thought u were avoiding me..i am sorry for mistaking u Karthik..but ippo dhaan unnoda odd behavior ku yenakku reason therinjadhu..don't worry karthik ,I can help u out ,no matter what I will take ur side and be with u always as we promised before.."

Karthik was clueless what was happening then...it was so confusing ...actually he was dreading to hear further..

"Angel cut the crap...yenna solla vara ?come straight to the point.." he asked in relent..as he almost figured out what was about to come from her..

Angel took a deep breath before launching a greatest lie of her life on the poor soul standing in front of her..

"I ..i .. am the love from ur past.."Karthik stunned for a moment.. even though he fathomed out what she was trying to say before itself, he was praying inside that it must be a delusion..but when those words which he doesn't what to hear ,actually had been spoken to him was too much for him to take..

"No it can't be true.."his heart screamed..but he managed to show up straight face outside..

There prevailed an awful heavy silence after her confession..conflicting to the earth quacks and storms happening insides of the people hearing it..

Karthik shifted his gaze to Raji to see her condition..

From the time Angel has arrived Raji sensed something bad going to happen..she doesn't know what but her instinct said nothing was right about her sudden appearance ..her stomach churned in fear since she had started to talk to Karthik..finally when the bomb was blasted with a perfect pitching , her heart shattered into million pieces..each piece quivering in pain..

Her gaze turned to his side in a daze , looking deep down into his eyes..as if asking "did u believe ur friend's words?"

karthik has no answer rather than staring at her blankly..
