His legs were in pain driving the car in snail speed in the heavy traffic of Mount road..traffic was moving inch by inch ..he was hell annoyed for struck in this congested traffic.. when he turned to his left where Raji's face beamed with excitement as she was eyeing the different shops all the way , and even made up stories about the people moving around..Raji was keep on talking about anything and everything on earth..her nonstop chatting had him to think that

She talks like a music player having no pause button..though he thought sarcastically her blabbering serves a much needed distraction for him from the hectic work of driving on the heavy traffic..

On the other hand he has nothing to do in that one sided conversation other than to say an occasional "mm"and a nod ...

Otherwise it was only Raji's voice buzzed inside that confined place.. it seemed all she needed was an ear to listen..

After a long period of time he felt ..he was not alone..there was someone for him to talk and him to listen to..the feeling itself lightens his heart..

He let out a sigh in frustration noticing the signal turned to red as he was about to cross the signal..

"Damn..have to wait for another 3 minutes.."he hits the steering wheel hard..

Suddenly as if she remembered something..she fidgeted inside the dashboard and took out a chocolate box..

"Oh... I forgot to taste the chocolate.."she said in great regret..

He rolled his eyes mockingly.

She unwrapped the box and with childlike amusement she bit the chocolate which was in a small heart shape..

Karthik gazed at her expressions curiously..

"Ai yaeee idhu kasakkudhu..."she made yucky face..

He couldn't help but smirked at her face...

"Adhu dark chocolate aa iurkkum..." he explained...

"Whatever... aren't the chocolates meant to be sweet..?"

"All chocolates are not.."

"Who would eat this bitter chocolate..?"she looked at the piece of chocolate in her hand with sulky face..she don't know what to do with that remaining bitter thing..

He chuckled a little before saying... "give it to me I will eat that?"

"R u sure?" she asked but it sounded more like asking "r u normal..?"as she was wondering how a normal person can eat bitter chocolate..?

He nodded with a smile..and opened his mouth randomly guessing that Raji would feed him..but at the same time Raji extended it towards his hand..

Oh what an embarrassing moment both were encountered ..

Before he close the mouth in awkwardness, Raji quickly tucked in the chocolate in his mouth..but her finger got stuck in between his lips as he already closed it..

Both of them stared at each other in shock..cutting off their stance loud blowing of horn drawn their attention indicating the signal had been switched to green..

He averted his gaze from her quickly and moved the car..

Raji pulled out her hand and wiped the wetness in her hanky feeling awkward..

Karthik switched on the music player to ease the awkwardness between them..

Melodious song floating in the air and hitting their eardrums soothing their mind and relaxed their bodies..after a while Karthik glanced at her wondering how come she has not talked for a whole minute..

He was taken aback seeing her fast asleep in sitting position..

How on earth she can sleep so sudden within no time..?he was astonished at the same time finds it cute..

He drove with a smile in his lips..suddenly when he take a sharp left turn, her head slides to his side and leaned on his shoulder..

His breath seized for a moment with that unexpected closeness..

He breathed in her sweet fragrance that was making his head go dizzy..and he felt so hot sweaty even when the ac was at its maximum..he slides down the window to inhale fresh air..to comfort his suddenly popped up nervousness..but to his utter dismay..the gust of air rushed in and ruffled her hair..and her loosened strand started teasing his cheek..

He gulped hard..to get rid of the uncanny feeling churning within him..his heart pounded like as if it would explode..he immediately closed the window cursing his bad timing..

He pulled over the car in the portico of his house..and looked at Raji who was sleeping over his shoulder comfortably but making him ticklish all the way..

He looked at her sleeping form...how innocent and fragile she looks he exclaimed..

"Raji..."he called her softly...

Not getting any response..he slightly patted her cheek and said loudly..

"Raji..we reached home.."

She snapped open her eyes and jerked back muttering a sorry..

After reaching inside Raji thumped on the couch spreading the shopping bags all over it..

"Ok ,let's call it a day and go for sleep.."Karthik said stretching his legs tiredly ..

Raji's eyes widened in shock..

"What..?we haven't eat the dinner yet..."

Now it was his turn to get shock..

After all the junk foods she stuffed in her stomach she still needs dinner ?

"Sorry Raji ..i am not in a state to make anything.."he denied sternly..

She twisted her lips..

"Then we order from outside...how about pizza?"she suggested with twinkling eyes..

"That sounds good.."

He took out his phone to order the pizza..

"What would u like to have?"he asked dialing the number...

"One large paneer pizza with double cheese coat.."

"What..?double cheese...you know how much calories that contains?"

Seriously Raji..Have u ever kept track of how much calories u eat per day?"

He asked in frustration...

"Should I?"she asked innocently..

He rolled his eyes in exasperation..

"Aaagggrrr...just forget it..."

He ordered one medium sized pizza..without cheese..ignoring her grumbling and cursing completely..

Pizza delivery had come after 20 minutes..they shared it ..dinner had been a silent affair between them..

After finishing the meal..Karthik collected all the trash in a big carry bag...

"Raji ..nee last time stay pannala andha room ah use panniko..i will be back soon.." he grabbed the house keys and headed towards the door..

"neenga yenga poreenga...?she asked..

"I am going outside to bin the trash"

"naanum varen pls..."she pleaded...

He shrugged off his shoulder..as if saying ur wish..taking that gesture as his approval she went with him..

The dust bin was located at the corner of the street..they have to walk for a while to reach their..

The road was very calm and quiet..the ambience was pleasing cool breeze hitting their faces soothingly..they walked silently enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and enjoying each other's company inwardly..

Raji felt very bored walking in silence..so she decided to break it.

"Romba azhagaana place la..?city kulla ipapdi oru calm aana place ah naan expect pannave illai.."

She said in surprised voice..he smiled plainly..

"Karthik sir...ippo..indha second unga manasula yenna thonudhu sollungalen.."

"yedhukku?"

"chumma sollunga pls.."she pestered..

"yenakku yenga ammavoda kaiya pudichikittu nadandhu pona yennoda china vayasu niyaabagam varudhu.."

She was surprised to hear him say something like that...

But he continued not minding her surprised look..

"appo laam ammaa yenga ponaalum naanum koodave poven...on those times I used to thought I was a big boy and it was my responsibility to take care of my mom..to go with her and bring her back safely ..i literally acted like her personal her body guard then.. avanga kaiya gettiyaa pidichipen,avanga tholainji poduvaangannu oru nenaippu..the fact would be the other way round..but still ammava naan dhaan badhirama kootitu porennu andha feel yenakku romba pidikkum..amma kaiya naan yevlo gettiyaa pidichipen theriyumaa I still remember that.." he smiled recalling those days..

Raji could see a glimpse child in this otherwise serious Karthik sir...the way his eyes gleamed showed he actually reliving those golden days..and she also could feel the subtle anguish in his words ..she inched closure to him..grabbed his hand softly and laced her fingers with his..

He had not denied her gesture..instead accepted the warmth of her comfort and they walked slowly..

"yenna kettala..unakku yenna niyaabagam varudhu..?"he asked in return..

She thought for a while and smiled to herself..

He listened to her quietly glancing at her eyes shined with emotions ..

He throw the garbage in the dust bin and they walked back home...after a pass he asked..

"Unga appava nee romba miss panra la?"he asked out of blue..

She nodded as her eyes pooled all of a sudden..

He continued as if he didn't noticed it..

"Then why don't u visit ur parents once..i haven't seen u visit them even once in these three months.."

"Yes..i have to go..They keep on calling me..naan pogum bodhu neengalum yennoda vareengalaa?ungala paarthaa appaa romba sandhosha paduvaaru.."she asked with excited voice..

He didn't want to disappoint her out rightly..

"But I can't able to recognize them.. It would be more like an embarrassing situation for me.."

She nodded for ok with a little disappointed face..

Silence prevailed again..

"neenga unga ammava romba miss panreenga ila?"she asked..he nodded for "yes.."

"romba ..."he emphasized the word..

"sometimes yenakkunnu yaarume illadha maadhiri thonum..yevlo per irundhaalum amma illainaa naama anaadhai dhaane.."he said in hurtful voice..

"Ippadi sollradhaala Mala aunty ku neenga yevlo periya aniyaayam panreenga theriyumaa?ungalukku ammavaave vaazhndhuttu irukaanga avanga.."she said with light contemning voice..

He looked at her in surprise..she was not as shallow as she looked outside..he thought..

Before he gather himself to answer ..he heard a dog'S bark and followed by Raji's sream..

"Aaahhhaa..."a dog was dangerously nearing her as if it would bite her once it caught her..and she run round and round around him ,dog also chased her..

At one point it came very close to her..and she jumped onto his waist wrapping her legs around his back.

Karthik was startled ...and was about to lose the balance both physical and mental...

"Raji what is this..get down .."he shouted at her...

"nooo..."she glued to him even more..

"omg..what this crazy girl is doing to me? "the most miserable thing is ,she has no idea actually what her closeness doing to him...his muscles tensed like a bow string and he felt the sudden gust of blood running through his veins..

"Raji keezha irangu.."he said between his gritted teeth..

"maaten dog kadichidum."she said with innocent pitiful face..

But the thing is he was in more pitiful state than hers..

"shhh..keep quiet.."he ordered sternly to the dog..

And to her astonishment the dog stopped its barking and moved aside and wagged its tail very loyally..

Raji looked at him in amusement..

"indha hitler ku naai kooda baya padudhu..?"she thought in mind..

"ippo keezha irungu.."he almost ripped her apart from him..

He fished out his pocket a small biscuit packet and started throwing to dog one by one..

"idhu unga dog aa?"

"No street dog..daily idhukku naan yedhavadhu saapoida poduven..adhanaala naan vandhaa yen pinnadiye varum"he explained ,..

Raji s mouth formed an "O"

"Shall I" she stretched out her hand for the biscuit..he gave her one and she gave that to the dog..

"Very cute la?"she asked by admiring the dog eating the biscuit..

He smirked "A little while ago she was hell afraid of the dog..but now saying it cute..how contradictory her thoughts were..She is a real kid.."

"indha dog oda peru yenna?"she asked curiously..

"Name aa?adhellam onnnum illai.."

"yenna peru vaikalaiyaa?" Her astonishment accused him out as if he committed a big sin..

"what is the need..is it necessary to name the street dog?"

"ofcourse..adhu mattum pavam ilaliyaa?"she defended the dog looking at it compassionately..

"sari yenna per vaikalaam nu nee ye sollu.."

She smiled brightly in excitement.. "mmm...yenna peru vaikalaam..?"she thought for a while and then her face flashed suddenly..

" "Candy floss "nu vaikalaama?"

"Of all the names why candy floss..?"

"yenakku candy floss romba pidikkum...but appa cold pidikkum nu vaangiye tharave maataaru.." she said with sulky face..

He smiled at her cuteness"she and her weird reasons.."

"Ok adhuve irukattum.."he said with a smile..and her face beamed in joy.."today he smiles often,may be mazhai varum..."she remarked in mind..

"Candy floss...candy floss.." she called the dog few times..

By the time they had reached the home..Raji got a phone call..and she stayed beck for attending the call..Karthik went inside the kitchen and took out a cold water bottle from it. And gulped it down letting it wet his shirt too as if cooling down his burning nerves..

He felt still her touch lingering all over him and that feel made him go crazy..he poured some water on his face and the liquid travelled down his body and shattered on the floor..

After sighed heavily..he headed to the living room..

There Raji was sitting on the couch with agonized face..pearls of tear threatening to fall from her eyes at any moment..

"All of a sudden what happened to her..?"he was puzzled..but her sad face brushed off everything behind..and he rushed to her side to comfort her..

"Raji what happened..?"he asked in softly..

she lifted her gaze to him and tear drops rushes out trailing down on her cheeks..

She sniffled in silent cry ..

"yenna aachu Raji..?"he asked getting even more tensed..

"Trishaa..."she said between her sobs.

"Tirishaa vaa?"

"Trishaa vaadi poitaalaam.."she said with extreme pain in her voice..

"What do u mean?"he asked in confusion..as he couldn't comprehend head or tail out of her statement..

"No no..idhu andha Tirisha illai..idhu version two.."

She corrected her sentence seeing his confusion..but least did she know that her explanation leads to more confusion in him..

"oh god..give me some more brain to understand her super duper language ..i am running short of brain"

He prayed god inwardly..

"Raji..first tell me who is Trisha.."he asked keeping his patience under check..

"Trisha yennoda rose plant..Bangalore la irundhappa version one vaadi pochi...adhanaala Salem la version two vaangi vachen ...ippo adhuvum vaadi pochaam amma sonnanga..inimel pookaadham.."

She said with worried face..

"What a weirdo..she is just impossible.."

He thought in amazement..but at the same time he admired her kind heart as well..

"yevlo soft and kind hearted aa irukanum ..to love the plants like humans..?"

His face softened ..."Raji don't worry ..how about buying Trisha version three..?"

He asked with excited voice..

She creased her borrowed ..

"I will get it for u..while we go to Salem.. ok?"he unknowingly confirmed his visit to Salem with her..

Her face lit up instantly..

"Really?"

"yes.."he blinked his eyes to give assurance..

"I have a medicine to lift up ur mood.."he said with a naughty glint..

He looked at him in surprise..

"I had seen Mala ammaa storing some ice cream in the fridge..u can grab one if u want.."

She grinned hearing the name ice cream..She sprinted towards the fridge in full excitement like a kid..

She took out one of the cone out of few cones and it was her favorite strawberry..and fondly licked it relishing its taste to the fullest..

He followed her but stopped few feet away and watched her eating the ice cream with a lop sided smile folding his hand against his chest..

She looked at his mocking gaze and felt little embarrassed and tried to walk past him..but she inadvertently stepped on the water that had been spilled on the floor by Karthik a while before and her leg slipped and she stumbled backwards ..but with a quick reflex Karthik caught her by her waist ..and prevented her from falling..she grabbed his shoulder tightly in fear of falling..she dropped the cone on the ground in the process of holding his for grip..

She looked at him baffled at the same time seeing his intense gaze.. her cheeks burnt and turned all red..

His unleashed desire becomes more greedy and wants for more strawberry ..still he refrained himself from doing things that both would regret later..it was a tug of war between his insane desire and rational conscience...

As if read his inner turmoil ,she closed her eyes submissively..and she inched closer as a gesture of giving into his untold demand...

Her innocent surrender crumbled down all his defenses into pieces..and he slammed his lips on her soft supple lips with ardent need and kissed it fervently..

As it was the first kiss for both of them ,none of them expertise in that field..both were learners ..Karthik sucked and nibbled her lips slowly ,yet he felt something incomplete..he wanted something more but didn't know what was missing..in utter desperation he slightly bit her lower lips and she gasped and whispered his name..

"Karthik.."

He was flabbergasted by her call..and was stunned for a moment..it was the first time she called out his name without the sir tag..

His name couldn't sound sweeter than this..he can swear ..

He looked at her face in surprise..

" yenna sonna?"

Raji opened her eyes and looked at him in daze..she couldn't fathom what he was asking..

"What did u just say?"he asked again..

She knocked her numbed brain to give him some answer..and the words spilled out on its own accord..as she whispered his name again..

"Karthik..."

But before she complete he smacked down his mouth on hers..swallowing his name within..Raji felt her legs were giving up as if it turned into jellies..he held her close and securely into his hold and deepened the kiss..both parted as they felt short of breath..

He kept her in his embrace and gazed at her glistering face..it was radiant and her cheeks puffed with all the rushing of the blood..seeing her fully flushed pinkish face..

Suddenly the name flashed in his mind.."candy floss..."

"my candy floss "his heart added an adjective .. he wanted to eat her alive..all his desire culminated into a big wave of passion ready to engulf him in any moment..

suddenly out of blue..an inner voice hits his ear drums like a thunder bolt..

"In future if at all I marry somebody it would be only her..if it was not her then no one ever.."

When he heard his inner voice ..sHe jerked back in shock..he couldn't face her anymore..as the intensity of his crime sinks in he felt more and more guilty ..

"How dare I touch Raji... how could I lose myself so easily..?no..it is not right..definitely not right for her.."

He mumbled a sorry and rushed to the upstairs as if some ghost chasing after him...

Raji walked like a zombie to her room..and fell on the bed..she touched her lips..

She couldn't fathom fully what has just happened between them..

It could feel his lips still lingered over hers..the feel was erotic.

She had so many fantasies about how the kiss would feel... but today she came to know all her fascinations and imaginations had nothing to do with the reality..

It was totally unimaginable and indescribable ...feelings that only could be felt at heart but can't be explainable in words..

She never thought this day would buried so much of surprise treasures to her...At the end of the day her eyes could only be able to reflect his handsome image .her ear drums only echoed his baritone voice..her nostrils recognized his intoxicating scent alone ,mouth could only feel the taste of his lips ,and the only feeling lingering on her whole body was his touch..her mind fully occupied by his thoughts..heart started beating only for him ...her all senses were worshiping the only name unanimously ...

"Karthik..Karthik..Karthik.."

Do dreams come true ?

No, would have been my answer if it was yesterday..

But not today..

Because you are with me today, like a dream..

Neither as my tuitur,nor as my boss

But simply the way u r..

As ,the man I feel comfortable with..

The man I am in love with..

The man I dream to spent my entire life with..

If it was a dream..

I never want to wake up..

If it is for real

I wish the day shouldn't end forever..

I am not going to bother about future anymore..

As I have tons of memories to cherish ever..

in terrace,in this part karthik had a dejavu of that incident only..
