A lone tear escaped from his eyes and shattered on the floor..
At that time... he heard a loud "gasp" followed by a scream..."Karthik..."
He looked up at once...and stunned by the sight in front of him..
Raji was standing there keeping her hand on the mouth , she was under extreme shock..
She was not looking at him..she scanned the whole room..and fixed her eyes on karthik...
"karthik ...are u made or what?oru half a day naan veetla illa,adhukkulla,what a mess u have done to my home? Yen ippadi Hanuman azhicha Ashoka vanam maathiri panni vachirukka,veetah?..."she kept on taunting him...
But he could hear nothing, he didn't even blink his eyes, what if all these were a mere imagination and if he blinked his eyes ,the image of Raji would disappear?
Her chirping sound was like a sweet melody to his starving ears..
The emotional stress he had undergone till then didn't let him to react to her arrival..He was sitting there like a statue..
It took some time for him to recover from the whirlpool of emotions...
Slowly he got back his senses...a wave of happiness swept him away..
His hands started to shiver, due to the sudden shift of extreme stress to immense pleasure...
Then he listened what she was telling,
She was complaining about the condition of the room...
"Avanavanukku inga uyir poi,uyir vandhirukku,ivalukku veedu kuppai aanadhu dhaan mukkiyamaa pochi"
His anger was slowly peeping out.. all the pent up emotions need a vent out. he had long forgotten about the resolution he made that not to fight with Raji any more...

"Yenaga ponaenaa?,yennadaa kekura,naan dhaan yerkanave solli irundhenla,yenga Athai ku udambu mudiyala poi paarthuttu varennu..."
"Omg, how did I forget about her Athai? what a foolishness.." he hit his forehead mentally...
Raji was surprised by his strange behavior..
She quickly sat beside him and touched his forehead to check if he was alright.
"Yenna aachu karthik,yen oru maathiri irukkka? Mugame sari illaiye?saapitiyaa illaiyaa?"
He heard the grumbling sound of his stomach now..he had not eaten anything since morning, not even a single drop of water entered his mouth..
"Saapidalaiyaa?naan dhaan hot pack la Tiffin vachirundhenae..."
"Adhu yeppadi yenakku theriyum?"he complained like a child...
"Yennadaa ozharra,naan dhaan note yezhudhi vachirundhenae, Athai veetukku poren,vara late aagum,hot pack la vachirukura tiffin aa saapitudu"nu...

Naan veedu muzhukka salladaiyaa jalichitenae,yendha note um kedaikalaiye?' He thought to himself..
"Yennadaa muzhikara..nee paakkaradha paarthaa,nee andha note ah paarkave illai polaye..."
"Yenga vachi irundha? He asked in confusion..
"Unnoda shirt packet la,"
He instantly looked at the shirt he had thrown away out of frustration, and laughed at his foolishness..
Without noticing his change of facial expression, she continued..
"Unna yezhuppi,yezhuppi paarthen,but nee asaiyave illai,kumbakaranan maathiri appadi oru thookam"
"Adhaan note yezhudhi vachittu ponen.."
Suddenly he remembered one more thing,
"Unnoda phone yen switched off aa ve irundhadhu?"
"Adhu..., charge poda marandhuten daa,adhaan off agiduchi..sorry,neraiya dhadavai call panniyo?"
She was feeling little guilty..
Suddenly everything seemed so funny to him..all his anguish ,anxiety ,stress, longingness, were become meaningless..
How stupid I am ?how could I even think that Raji would leave me ?
His Raji..will never leave him, even if he sodhapufy to a great extent..his heart filled with joy and contentment..
The way she showed concern for him and asking for excuse, like last night's events doesn't exists between them, had blown him away.
At that moment he felt that he was the luckiest person on earth. How blessed he was to get a sweetheart like Raji?
He hugged her so tightly in overwhelming joy.
It was a pure bliss for him to have her in his arms...all safe and sound..
She couldn't get the head or tail of his strange behavior..
"Yenna achu karthik?"she asked while hugging him back with the same intensity..
He just nodded his head for a "no"...without a word..
He doesn't want to reveal the torment he had been experienced till then, as she would feel for his pain..or even she might have felt guilt..
She slowly came out of the hug and asked
"Yennadaa,naan kovichikittu unna vittu poitaennu nenaichiyaa?" she tried to find out the reason for his odd behavior..
"Avlo easy aa unna vittutu poiduvennu nenaichiyaa?100 vayasu varaikkum,un koodave irundhu sandai pottutu dhaan irupen,therinjiko,nee yen kitta irundhu escape aagave mudiyaadhu"
She tried to lighten this emotional situation..
"Actual aa nee appadi pesinadhukku naan unnoda pesave koodaadhu,aanaa yenna panradhu..yenna try pannaalum unmela yenakku kobam varamaatengudhe..."
He grinned like a fool, by hearing her confession..
"Naanum konjam over aa dhaan pesiten,sorry kar..."he didn't let her to finish, He put his finger on her lips...
"Illai Raji naan dhaan thappu,sorry"
"Karthik onnu pannuvomaa?naama inimel indha vishayamaa yedhuvum pesa vendaame"
She requested him..
"Ok pesavendaam,sari vera yedhaavadhu pesalaamaa?"
"Yenna pesalaam?"
"Nee inniku rumba azhagaa irukka theriyumaa" he started to flirt with her..
She blushed a little and tried to hide it from him by turning her face to the other side..
"Naan paarthuten ..." he teased her..
"Podaa...,sari adhai vidu...kumaari ammaa vandhaangalaa?"she tried to change the topic.
"Kumaari ammaa yaaru?"
"Yennadaa ippadi kekkura,namma veetu servant maid.."
"Oh avangalaa ,vandhaanga,but naan dhaan leave kuduthu anupiten.."
"What...?????"she asked in disbelief ...
"yennadhu?nee yenna paithiyamaa? Weekends muttum dhaan avanga velaikku varuvaanga,adhukkum leave kuduthu anupittah,ippa naan yenna panradhu?veeta vera indha gadhi panni vachirukka,how could I clean this mess,do u have any idea ,how tiresome this work would be?"
She started her scolding session again..
Her taunting was like a humming of a bird to him..
He couldn't control his grin..
"Naan inga polambittu iruken ,nee sirikiriyaa? she raised her hand to hit him,
He grabbed that hand, pulled her towards him and seized that complaining mouth for a soul piercing kiss...he thanked god for giving back this bundle of joy to his life and hugged her even tighter than ever...
