Raji finishes exam and comes home with Vishnu. Karthik's parents,
Raji, Vishnu and Lakshmi have lunch together.
K-appa: exam eppadi panni irukke Raji maa?
Raji: nallaa panni irukken paa... aanaa...

Raji: rendu answer thappaaga chance irukku...
K-appa: ennaachu?

All of them finish lunch and sit in the living room. Lakshmi signs Vishnu to tell them. Vishnu nods his head and...

Vishnu: illa maa... engeyaavadhu miss aayidumo nnu indha pendrive la store panni vachirukken...

He gives the pendrive to him.

Raji comes to Karthik's bedroom and takes diaries from his cupboard.
Karthik had this habit of writing diary since his school days. Being a
single child he missed the sibling love very much since childhood.
Though his parents were very friendly with him, he found his best
friends in them but not siblings. So just like sharing with a sibling , he
started pouring his heart out in a diary from standard seven. He kept
them so personal that he never allowed anyone else to have a look.
The only person whom he showed them himself was his Raji.

Raji takes the diary of the year 2012 and turns pages... she stops at
a page with heading... Second day at BIG FOUR... She starts
reading and re-lives each moment...

Karthik comes to office, keeps his things in the locker and walks
towards Harsha's cabin...
The receptionist stops him and tells him that he has to go the training
session pointing towards a room on the right side corner of the wing.
Karthik thanks her and goes there. Some ten to twelve persons were
already there chatting in groups of three or four. Karthik takes a look
around and sits in a chair. His eyes search for Raji and she was not
there. Slowly one by one start coming but there was no sign of Raji.
Karthik is getting anxious slowly and is trying hard to avoid the thought of what if she doesn't turn up?...

It's sharp 9 a.m. and one of the Executive directors clad in a formal suit enters the room and everyone stands in respect. He asks everyone to be seated and a voice breaks the silence..."Excuse me... Sir... May I come in?"
Everyone looks at the door and Raji was standing tensed there. A big
relief surrounds Karthik...
"Yes... you may..." said the auditor.
Raji enters and again says.." I'm Sorry Sir... for being late..."
He replies..."not at all... you are just in time... come ... take your seat."
Raji looks around, sees Karthik , smiles and comes and sits beside
him.

The auditor clears his throat and everyone listen to him sincerely...
" Hello... friends... I'm Gupta... one of the executive director of this
firm... Welcome to the beginning of a new chapter in your life. I promise this will be a great experience for each of you. Whether you 'll
continue to work here or not... it doesn't matter . I can assure you that
you'll gain a lifetime of experience when you finish this 3 month
apprenticeship. For your info... every semester we select 24 students
so that we can divide them into three batches of eight each. This time
there are a lot of things for you all to be proud of.
The first and foremost one is you are the twenty fifth batch recruited for training. "

Everyone claps. Mr.Gupta waves his hand and silence prevails... he
continues...
" Next, since it is the twenty fifth batch we thought of taking 25 students. As you may be aware all of you are CA Final students. Some
of you have cleared one group in finals. Some of you have passed CMA or CS or both either Inter or Final. So 24 of you have completed 3
years of articleship. So, all of you are equally qualified, intelligent and
determined. Now, coming to the special addition made for only this time..I would like to introduce you all to Miss. Rajathi Sivasankaran.. "
and he points towards Raji and everyone turns their head and looks at her. Raji who was seriously listening didn't understand what was
happening. Feeling embarrased as everyone was gazing at her, she
slowly gets up and stands quiet not knowing what to do.

Mr.Gupta asks Raji to come near him and she obeys. As she stands
beside him, Mr. Gupta continues...
" for the first time, this is so special bcoz she is the youngest person to be recriuted since 25 years. Rajathi is only 19 yrs old and She is a CA Inter student with group 2 cleared. the main reason she was absorbed now was... for her record breaking performance in the online entrance exam. She cleared the exam in her very first attempt in a record low time of answering 100 questions in 35 minutes with 100 per cent correct answers. I request you all to help her complete the course along with you. Can we have an applause please?"
Everyone claps and Raji is overwhelmed by this .

Mr.Gupta asks her..." wanna say something?"
Raji nods and says..." Thank you all for your Welcome. I really don't
know how to react. Actually I was not at all interested in coming here... I took the entrance exam only for my father's sake. He is a manager of a nationalised bank back in chennai who aspired to become a CA but couldn't as his father expired and had a family to take care. So he wanted me to pursue CA ... But today after seeing you all I think I don't deserve to be here amongst you. coz I'm nothing in front of all of you compared to knowledge, experience and most importantly hardwork. If at all I continue here , I'll definitely try to learn from each of you and I would like to clearly say one thing that I'm in no means competing with any one of you... Sorry if I had embarrased you."

Everyone including Mr.Gupta claps again. He says..." I just said this
only to help you Rajathi... as the training is based on Final Standards
so there may be topics you haven't learned yet ... so please don't
hesitate to ask wherever you have doubts... others being familiar may
not rise any... is that clear?"
Raji: Yes Sir...
Gupta: Take your seat.
Raji comes and sits in her place.
Mr.Gupta starts the training session. everyone takes note of important
points in the scribbling pads provided to them. After two hours, they
have a small break of 10 minutes and then continue. Two more hours
pass by and they are given a lunch break of half an hour.

When they cross Reception Raji stops and speaks to the receptionist
and as they near the escalator she says to Karthik that she'll come in
just two minutes and goes to the locker room. She comes with a lunch box in her hand. Karthik smiles..
Raji: enna aachu? en sirikkareenga?
Karthik: chumma vilaiyaattukku kekkure nnu parthaa... nijamaave lunch box oda vandhu nikkare?
Raji: aamaa.. daily ennaala salad saaptu uyir vaazha mudiyaadhu ille?
Karthik: sari vaa... half an hour la return varanum.
He moves towards the escalator and Raji holds his hand before
stepping on it.

Lovely update.. Love the bonding btwn k's parents and Raji, Vishnu n lakshmi. K waiting for R's arrival is cute. Raji getting appreciated which she dint even realize at first was good.. This would make her to realize and cont her job here..
