PART 4
Raji and Karthik are equally shocked and surprised to see each other.
Karthik smiles, moves back , and gives her way to get in.
Raji not knowing how or what to react smiles back.
Mr.Harshavardhan interrupts..."YES..."
Raji goes towards him and Karthik follows...
Raji gives the letter given by the receptionist to him.
He takes a glance and stretches his hand ...
Raji places her profile on his hand ...
He goes through it... and looks at her...
Harshavardhan: Please take your seat... you too...
both Raji and Karthik sit in front of him.
Harshavardhan: is this your real name?
Raji: yes sir, I'm Rajathi...
Harshavardhan: but it is supposed to be a pet name...
Raji: it's my given name sir... i've got my passport and Pan card in the same name...
Harshavardhan: oh i see...
Raji: if you feel unusual, you can call me Raji .. sir...
Harshavardhan: Oh... OK... nice ...Raji... He is Karthik... your fellow apprentice ... you both are assigned under me for the next three months... you'll be given training for two days and you are supposed to be seated here...
Harshavardhan stretches his right hand and Raji and Karthik look at the place he pointed..

He switches it On and says...
"you can sit in any system of your choice... You'll be given your ID cards in a shortwhile from now... To log on... you have to enter your employee no provided on your ID and the password is your date of birth... you can change your password immediately...
We'll have weekly Taxation sessions...Every Friday two hours after lunch...
we've a cafetaria on 6th floor...
you've to keep ur locker and draw key safe...

Raji and Karthik listen to him carefully and then follow him...
He takes them to the escalator...
Kumar: We've to go the fifth floor ...
and he steps and moves...
Karthik also steps and looks for Raji...
Raji is still standing...
Karthik climbs the steps down and asks "what happened? we've to go to the fifth floor and kumar is already gone..."
Raji..." is this the only way?"
Karthik: what...
Raji: there must be some other way... i mean steps or an elevator...
Karthik: this is also an elevator...
Raji: idhu escalator...
Karthik: ellaam onnu dhaaan ... come on... kumar inneram fifth floor reach aayittu wait pannittu iruppaaru...

Karthik is unable to figure out why is she so scared and how to convince her as there was no other choice left...
The phone on receptionist's table rings and answering that, she says..."Karthik and Rajathi... Kumar is waiting for you.."

He goes to the escalator and Raji is looking at it with fear..
Karthik: enna paaru... ippadi first oru adi vachittu , inga pidicikko... avvalavu thaan...
and he was moving on and looks back to find Raji standing stilll...
He again comes down and calls her...
Karthik: come on... we're getting late... ID card illaama inga onnume panna mudiyaadhu...
Raji: enakku romba bayamaa irukku...
He looks seriously at her and is surprised as he could see fear in her eyes and she was almost shivering...
He was quite moved as he was now convinced that she is really afraid of climbing the escalator...
Some chord strucks within him and he says.."en kaiya pidichikko..."
Raji hesitates and he replies " there's no other choice..."
Karthik gives his hand and Raji stretches hers . He holds her hand, steps on the escalator and she also steps but couldn't balance and trumbles ... but Karthik prevents her from falling.
They reach first floor and she doesn't leave his hand.
so again ...the same way... oru vazhiyaa... they reach the fifth floor..
Kumar who was waiting for them takes them into a cabin.
A person is working on a computer and Kumar says to him...
"new joining... under Harshavardhan" and gives their appointment letter to him ...
Raji and Karthik sit in front of the system one by one, the person takes a snap and works like a machine and within 10 minutes, their ID cards were ready...
They take their ID cards and wear it.
Kumar: we'll go to Harshavardhan's cabin...
They come out and as they reach the escalator, Raji takes a step forward and holds Karthik's hand.
Karthik never expected this and is surprised... but he feels happy and the same time was amused why is he feeling so...
