Episode No 55 Thursday 25/6/09

Folks, I forgot a small segment in yesterday's episode. Kavitha's
husband, who qualifies for the title "maniac" does a "hik hik hik"
to Kavitha and does some "tamarind karaiching" in Kavitha's thoppai.
Well, he talks about Ponmani going nuts - starts nicely with Kavitha -
"did u notice that there is some change in Ponmani? after she came
back from Madras?" Innocent Kavitha endorses " u noticed that?? I did too!!!
some thing is bothering her." Elango draws her attention to a previous
incident where a doctor says that Ponmani is under stress and might end
up going off bonkers totally if not treated. Kavitha is upset and Elango
goes on with a few "hik hik" s

Continues from that scene today - Elango building upon Ponmani's condition.
Kavitha is upset and says that he too is a reason for Ponmani's condition.
The maniac laughs - " naanum aa?? office le antha rumor ai kilappi vittathe
naan thaan..So, I am the sole reason , got it babe?" Talks about the company
going down the drain. "Company CEO is stressed out... athigarigalai ellam kanda
padi thittugiraar.. eppothu vizhunthu piraanduvaar endru theriyavillai.." Goes on -
" if u repeatedly stress on a lie , it becomes truth. So, I am just repeating this lie ..
which will become the truth one day. Paavam nee, appa kku coma, akka paithiyam...
u have only me.."

Pattabhi is pacing - restless - waiting for his sister. Padma chides him -"pesame
station kku pOi irukkalaam neenga." Pattabhi says that Thangam did not want that...
Thangam arrives and has a nice conversation with the auto driver -"antha Thirukural ai
ore tharam solluga.. Agara Mudhala.." Auto driver is ready to forego the fare -
"aalai vidu mma,kaase vendaam.." Thangam pays and asks him not to forget Kural.
Picks at Padma a bit and goes in . Padma says that Pattabhi's mother was here some
time back and did not like Padma - "so now she has sent your sister.." Thangam recites
a kural which means that if u do some harm to others it always comes back to you later
in life. Thangam asks about Chidambaram and is told that he is an asst.director -
in serials. Thangam says that it is not some thing permanent and plans to talk to
Chidambaram when she sees him next. But Chidambaram has seen her from
his room as she enters and looks happy ( love aa??)

Mathi and Indhu - Mathi is on medical leave - has a bad head ache and feels
feverish. Indhu brings coffee and sees that he is playing games. Snatches
the mobile and asks him to rest. Just then Meera calls and sounds disappointed
that he is on medical leave. Tells him that there is an urgent assignment which
requires him for just half a day -'can u come?" Mathi agrees and Indhu is not
very happy.

Charu is watching some comics - asks dad to join her. Madan sits with her
but his mobile keeps ringing. Charu permits him to pick up the phone. Madan
goes aside and talks and of course Charu hears that ( this girl is kind of whacked !!!
very possessive about dad and suspects everything - well portrayed by this actress -
but Roja has one request - amma, chinna ponnu, antha oru lock of hair right on your
forehead all the time !!! that can give u a squint!!) Madan talks to someone and
promises to meet the next day at 9 pm -" no one should know..even Pattabhi"
Charu acts as if she did not hear that.

MRB and GDR household - MRB asks Kalai to stay home -"we are all going for a
master health check up.." Kalai refuses to go along.... talk goes around as to
youngsters suffering from all kinds of illnesses blah blah.... and finally Kalai
agrees that she is pregnant. The family is shocked. just then someone calls
Kalai and she barks in the mobile " no no, I will not agree for an abortion" leaves
a stunned family and goes to her room - locks herself and cries..

Etc., etc., Seshadhri ( Seshadhri per - always says etc etc for every thing and so
the title) comes to meet Ponmani - Bangalore - after the initial talk of "nee romba
maaritte" nee apdiye irukke, konjam kooda maaralai" Seshu asks about Ponmani's
family. Ponmani says that she has a daughter - Seshu is shocked . kavitha comes
in and Ponmani introduces her as her daughter. After kavitha leaves, Ponmani
says that she is her cousin "my chithappa's daughter" Seshu relaxes and observes
" so 18 years aa nee marupadi kalyaanam pannikkalai?" Ponmani laughs and Seshu
says that even Madan has not remarried.. Ponmani recalls Mahadevan telling her
that Madan has told Charu that her mother died young... Ponmani is agitated..

Y elango is behaving like this.. IS he a psycho? He is TMS vinod right? enna oru kodurmana siripu..

Thangam's character is humorous aahh??? Nice seen. She is talking about thirukkural a lot coz, the screenplay is by KB sir... Roja akka, it is not KB sir story, so I think we can expect his style only in the screenplay (About Meera).

I like that Charu (Sahana right?) very much. It will hurt a lot, when a mom comes to know that her daughter thinks she is dead. Paavam ponmani. Though i'm not aware of the past, this is worst news for a mother.

Just watched few scenes. Will that be telecasted today (Friday)?

Expecting more...

Meena, this serial is telecast Mondays through Thursday..... so we wait until Monday.. This is kavithalaya production with KB's screenplay, but BC is from KB school, so there would be some monitoring I suppose...

Saw teh first part alone. Ponmani was still looking young...

In India it is telecasted @ 10:00 PM IST... So again depend on ur updates for the second and third part...

Episode No 56 Monday 29/6/09

Starts with Ponmani and Seshu reliving their college days .
Seshu quietly observes " Madan also has not remarried, like you"
Ponmani gets cautious - " are u here as an envoy of Madan? if so,
you are wasting your time and mine !!" Seshu says that Madan has
no clue about all this - " In fact it was me who educated him about
your whereabouts after reading the article in the paper...I am here on my own.."
Goes on to say that Madan is a successful actor now -" u never want to see
him again?" Ponmani says that she does not want to. Then Seshu asks
about Charu " She is so much like what u were in that age. Dont u want to
see her?" Now Ponmani says that Madan has told Charu that she has no
mother ( athu edi unakku theriyum nnu kekka maattiya etc., etc., ?? No
contact, do not want to see nnu solraale!!) Seshu says that if Pon and Madan
meet face to face and sort out issues, they can get together. Ponmani says
that she did see Madan once but did not talk to him. Finally Ponmani says that
Seshu is welcome to visit her as a freind - "both me and Madan are happy with
our lives. As a third person why do want to enter and kuttai kuzhappufy?"
Immediately apologizes for calling Seshu as a third person . Seshu is hurt
but makes up.

Indhu and Mathi - Indhu wants him to sign in some paper. Mathi is
ready to sign it blindlly but Indhu asks him to read and sign. He reads and is
agitated. calls out to his MIL and says that Indhu wants him to resign the job . S
haradha is equally angry. Indhu says that Meera is inhuman -"u were not well
but she ordered you too come??" ( yeeeyyy, 😉 athuvaa reason?? yey ye Rojakku
puriyum😉 ) Mathi says that the previous company threw him out like a waste
paper and he had no job for 3 months - " I was so depressed and upset. I found this
job. I am not going to resign, tell your daughter " storms out, Sharadha tears the
paper and warns daughter -"never repeat this, ever "

MRB household - agitated talk about Kalai's pregnancy. Kokila opts for a
"koondOda kailaasam" but GDR vetoes - "paper le ellam pOttu kudumba
maanam will go in the kappal even after we die.."MRB asks "enna? Jeyakanthan
novel mathiri solution? " GDR and Natarajan opt for an abortion. Kokila cries and
says that she cant accept that - "enna paavam panninOmO, namba Mathi kku no
issues. Ippo ithu vera yaa?? no no.. .. Let us get Kalai married to the boy who is
the fatherof this kid" GDRsays that it could only be Dinesh . Finally the family
decides to find out the culprit and conduct the marriage. Natarajan says that
a fellow who impregnates a girl before marriage can not come from a good
family ( athu sari, appo un ponnu?? getting pregnant out of wedlock na,
antha ponnu comes from a good family??) MRB says that there is no point in
all this talk "let us talk to Kalai.. I have a feeling that she is lying.." GDR exclaims -
"she accepted her pregnancy!!" Kalai is summoned. MRB says that she
still believes that Kalai is not capable of such a mistake. Kalai says
" na thappu pannitten" - goes on " I thought so high of all of you, athu thaan
my mistake. Amma, how can you label me as pregnant? " Kokila says that
she heard her talking in the mobile. Kalai goes on - " so, u always have an
element of doubt about me, thats why u overheard my conversation. All
parents make this mistake about their daughters. Ketta, adi vayathile
neruppai katti kittu irukken nnu solvaanga". Kalai keeps talking - like Roja
Kokila is also fed up - "sari , nee enna vvena thittu... explain your talk in the
mobile, humor me, will ya? Kalai says that it was Radhika - "my friend. She
married her BF like the movie Alai Payuthe. They consummated the marriage
and now she is pregnant...athu thaan" The family is visibly relieved. Now Kalai
has to point out the lacuna of each of her family members. Tells her dad that
he should have come forward to help his daughter. tells GDR that Radhika has
a family which finds fault with every thing she does -"valarppu sari illai nnu
easy aa pesaringa??" Now goes to MRB and applauds her for the trust she
has on Kalai -" ivanga mattum thaan ennai sariya purinji vaichu irukkanga.." cries.

Charu's house - Charu is sitting alone. Looks pensive. Is hungry and all ready
to eat. But daddy dearest is not here ( 9 O'clock meeting with someone??? innum
mudiyalai yaa?) Charu reads a book and waits - impatient and sulks...- the clock
shows 10. 40... she calls dad and can not reach him .. daddy walks in, cheerful.
Charu says that he is late by more than 4 hours " and your phone is not on !"
Madan says that he forgot to switch on after the shooting. Charu wants to eat
but Madan says that he has eaten. Charu recalls his phone conversation -
"tomorrow..9 pm..no one should know .." Starts her cross questioning but Madan
says that he is too tired for an interrogation session " can we adjourn this ??
for the morning? I am tired.. want to sleep.." Leaves. Charu is thoughtful and upset..
Goes up and sees daddy sleeping peacefully. Does a 007 job ..smells the T shirt...

Y this ponmani is this much stubborn... Lets wait and c.. i think she would move atleast for her daughter..

Indhu should sort out the prob cleverly instead of askinghim to resign..

Poor Kalai.. but parents really ar worried when their children cross the teenage... They want only good to happen for their children.. they cannot be blamed..

Charu is so possessive on her dad.. what will be her reaction when she comes to know about the truth of her mom???

Thanks a lot Roj akka for the updates... I was wondering who this women asking her hubby to sign some paper and he calls out Athai.. Enna chinna kozhandhaya.. after ur updates i got it cleared...

Thanks RP.

Ultimately Ponmani will give up for her daughter. Think Madan telling the child a lie that the mother is dead has made Ponmani more angry. It is alright to have said that when the child was small but another to tell the truth when she has grown up. Madan is worried about his image as a Dad as well.

Charu's possessive attitude might make Madan claustrophobic -sometimes it can .

Episode No 57 Tuesday 30/6/09

Charu and her friend Kalai - Charu talks about her dad's
strange behaviour - " I do not know if I should doubt him
or get scared that it could be true" Kalai says that Charu's
dad is beyond such accusations -" see he could have married
as soon as your mom died !!! he did not do that !!! Ok, even
if he is seeing some other woman, whats wrong? He may
be looking for some company!!!" Charu immediately explodes -
"no, not my dad !!" (amma di ippo enna than pannaum??) Kalai is
also lost like Roja !!!!

Mahadevan and Ponmani - Mahadevan comes a la Archimedes -
"eureka eureka... i found the GM chatting during lunch break "
Ponmani is benevolent - smiles. The GM comes in and apologizes -
" I wont do it again , sorry .." Ponmani asks him to go and continue
his work. Mahdevan wants to know if he should settle the accounts
with that GM . Ponmani says that all the scientific developments should
be used in the right spirit - "even I chat !!!" Well, right now this scene
seemed irrelevant but KB must have some use for this - let us wait.

Indhu is sulking. Basically, she has started suspecting Mathi . Her mother
calls it as baseless but Indhu has a reason - shows a
passport photo of Meera -"Mathi brief case le irunthu sutten !!!
reason enough??" Mommy also shows shock!! (passport size photo -
ration card kkaga kooda irukkalaam !!! if some thing is bugging you
why dont ask him directly ?? Instead of snooping around !!!)

Madan in bed - his legs are swollen and he cant get up.The doctor
comes and Charu says that her dad is suffering. Madan wants to go
for his shooting schedule but the doctor vetoes -" tell me the truth,
what did u do out of the ordinary?" Madan says that he has been
asked judge a dancing competition and he did not want to go unprepared -
"have been learning for the past 3 days. Wanted to watch that episode
with Charu and so did not let her in to this secret !! But now..." Charu
repents for her assumptions, calls Kalai and tells her that she made
a mistake of doubting dad " I have to be punished .."

Dinesh comes to meet Kalai - has some present for every one in the
house. Kalai sees him and takes him to her room. Both MRB and GDR
try to eavesdrop - keeping their ears close to the door...
