EPISODE 63 THURSDAY JULY 9TH UPDATE
Kavitha continues asking how can an unstable person be the CEO of this company. Ponmani shouts Kavitha. Mahadevan is a silent onlooker. Kavitha calls Ponmani mentally disturbed and abnormal, she keeps shouting the last few days. Ponmani shouts that she is not abnormal, kavitha asks her to calm down otherwise an ambulance would have to be called and she might have to be chained. Ponmani was very proud and used to tell Perform or Perish..now Ponmani is going to perish. Mahadevan is just not able to believe his eyes. Kavitha dismisses Ponmani and asks her to go, Ponmani begins with kavitha pls.. but Kavitha asks Mahadevan to continue the work.
Indhu comes and gives a shirt to Madhi. Madhi who is already dressed just takes his tie and leaves. Indhu thinks that Madhi has not been talking since morning, if he is not talking she also has rosham and she too would not talk. Madhi is packing a few clothes in a bag. Indhu asks him why he is not talking to her. Madhi asks her if she has suspicions or has come to a conclusion. Indhu gets mad and asks him to promise not to lie, inturn he asks her to promise that she would not be suspicious... again an argument ensues. Madhi says that was the reason he was not talking, if at all they talk it only results in quarrel.. Indhu blames him to be lying all the time. He again reiterates it was because of her that he lied. Indhu asks him to have breakfast and leave, Madhi says he is not hungry so will have it in the office canteen if at all he feels hungry. Indhu asks him to atleast take the tiffin box, again he refuses saying he will either have it in the flight or after he lands in Coimbatore. This is news to Indhu. Madhi says he knew of the plan only a few mins ago that it would be three days for him to return. Indhu enquires where he would stay, he says he doesnt know, Meera has made the arrangements and that she is accompanying him. He is new to the company, so this once she would come and from next time he is on his own. Bades bye to Indhu telling her to take care. Indhu is at the height of suspicion !
Pattabhi, Padma and Thangam sitting in a triangle. Pattabhi asks what is Thangam's decision on marriage. Thangam wants to marry only after clearing CA. Pattabhi first suggests that she can continue her studies after her marriage. Thangam refuses. Pattabhi says father said so because it is a nice idam, she can go to the village and after the ponnu paarthing they can say some lie and refuse.. Thangam quotes a kural and says why should they lie, instead just tell them that the girl is not interested. Pattabhi asks Padma to talk to Thangam, Padma feels that Thangam's mind is made so no use pestering her. Thangam replies, nallaa eduthu sollunga and walks out. Pattabhi thinking aloud that it would take 4 years to complete CA and Padma simultaneously thinking aloud that Chidambaram wants to complete a film before marriage which would be atleast 2 years. Both of them come to a conclusion to get the director and auditor married. Pattabhi suggests to bring home Pattabhi so that the rat and mouse can be turned into cotton and fire (panjum neruppum!) Both Pattabhi and Padma are happy about it !!
Ponmani and Mahadevan in conference. Mahadevan porumi thallufies that Kavitha was a Democle's sword. Mahadevan had been telling Ponmani that but she just did not listen... Mahadevan continues saying Elango is much better, he stood up against her openly but Kavitha dug a big ditch staying close to Ponmani. They can call for a board meeting and cast vote, if they lose it then they can go to the court. Ponmani says she would never ever do it. Her chithappa toiled and brought up this company and she would never do anything that would affect the goodwill of the company. It is not about who has the capability but who it belongs to. Mahadevan says this is the weakness that Kavitha is exploiting in her. And feels that Elango is the soothradhari -master brain behind this, and Kavitha is acting according to his wishes. Ponmani feels otherwise, all these years Kavitha was under his thumbbeing treated like a slave. Ponmani gave her an opening but she never could believe that Kavitha would change so much. Mahadevan laments that Ponmani has fallen from such a height into a deep ditch. Padhavi pOna appram enna paNNa pOra he asks. Ponmani says what Padhavi, when she came to Bangalore she came empty handed she has been pushed to the same situ again. She has not lost her self confidence and courage. Anyway she wanted to train kavitha and make her CEO but kavitha outsped her. Mahadevan wants to tender his resignation, does not want to work in the office without Ponmani, but Ponmani stops him asks him to continue. Anyway one good thing in this whole affair is Kavitha wants to retain him, so he should stay. He need not stay for her but for her chithappa who is his friend. She asks him to continue his work and bades goodbye.
Koki drying clothes. Natraj comes in search of her. He starts talking about Dinesh and says nowadays he does not visit them so often and praise him to the skies and feel they can get Kalai and Dinesh married. He wants to know if Koki had enquired about his parents. Kalai comes there and confirms that she loves Kishore and he is her all closes the door to her room.
Madan sitting and pondering over the kavidhai mail. He hides it on seeing Charu. Charu does not look at him and goes to her room. Madan goes behind her, Charu with the laptop checking on her emails. Madan enquires if she is checking on the email, she affirms it. madan tells not to open such mails, he spoke to Seshu and he had warned him because of the virus that could spread ! Madan asks her ignore such mails. The other day it was an MGR song, today would be some Shivaji song. Someone is doing it because he/she has no other better work. Charu closes the laptop, Madan turns around to leave saying good. Charu asks him what to do with this letter then - she has an envelope in her hand. Madan wonders where she got it from . She says someone hand delivered in the college and asked for it to be delivered to her. Madan tells her not to read it ignore, to go and study and she says she has already read it. Madan's face turns grey. thinking about the kavidhai mail he received.
