Chapter-6
A Small Outing
They were like sitting on other corners of the car. They didn't even see each other's face and did not even talk thought they were quite very much talkative at home.
Ki- Nisha kya hua tu aaj bahut shaant hai?
Ni- Haan K's ke sabse bade bhagvaan ke saath mein jo baithi hoon.
Kabir eyed nisha ad so did nisha.
Ki- Kabir tumhara pair kaisa hai?
Ka- Theek hai bhabhi. Bas kuch logo ki galatiyon ka pashchatap kar raha hoon. (eyeing nisha again)
Kirti and Kartik sensed the environment getting tensed.
Kar- The shop is a bit far so let us have tea.
Ni and Ka together- I only drink coffee.
They looked at each other in shock.
Ni and Ka together- Copy cat!
They were shocked even further and looked in the opposite direction again.
Kar- so how is your practice going on Nisha?
Ni -Great, Jiju!
They reached the shop after half an hour.
Kartik texted Kabir- Kabir please take Nisha with you. I want to do this shopping alone with Kirti.
Ka- (momnologue) Bhai na jallad hain. Bilkul apne baap par gaye hain. Apne romance ke chakkar mein mujhe iss chudail ke saath bhej rahe hain. Chal kabir beta! Lag ja kaam pe.
Kabir looked at Nisha. Nisha also got a message from kirti saying the same and well nisha's monologue was nothing different.
Kabir gave his phone to Nisha and nisha to kabir to make them read their messages from their awesome siblings. Sarcasm intended.
Nisha and Kabir left the place without any reasoning and Kirti and Kartik even didn't ask as that was what the two wanted.
Nisha and Kabir in the car
Ni- (to herself) Iss Gende ki khaal se kya baat karoon? (It means that someone who is not affected by other's action, like ignoring sort of)
Ka- Suna maine!
Ni-Sunana chahti thi main.
Ka- Teri problem kya hai?
Ni- TU!
Ka- Usually ladkiyon ki problem ka solution hota hoon main.
Ni- Huh! Bachpan se hi phenkni ki aadat hai ya latest mein paali.
Ka- Ab tumhari jaisi hot aur sexy ladki saath mein ho toh apne muh se apni tareef toh karni hi padti hai.
Ni- Would you just shut up for once? I am really irked right now. Already Kirti got me out just because she wanted to spend some time with Kartik and now you? I don't really know why people LOVE!
Ka- You are absolutely right. People are idiot to love. I mean when you can love yourself then why to give importance to someone else in your life.
Ni- You re right for the first time. I mean people want to owe their whole entire big life to someone they just feel that can make them happy. Why can't people make themselves happy on their own?
Ka- Yes, why do they want to make the other oone happy. Like those cheeky-peeky lines, TUM MERA SAB KUCH HO! I WANT TO MAKE YOU HAPPY. I CAN'T SEE ANY TEARS IN YOUR EYES.' (Kabir said with those expressions)
Ni- and then the girl replies, MAIN PROMISE KARTI HOON MAIN TUMHARE KHAATIR KABHI NAHI ROUNGI. LEKIN TUM BHI PROMISE KARO THAT YOU WOULD NEVER CRY!' (She also said with those expressions)
Ka- (laughing) and the best part is it the only moment when they are crying.
Ni -Aur phir future main shaadi ke baad ek dusre ko koste rehte hain.
Ka- pehle to love based shayaris padte rahenge but after marriage toh bas Husband-atyaachaar aur Wife-atyaachar wale jokes padte hain.
Ni- (laughing) Sahi Pakdte hain.
They were laughing whole heartedly. They were about to give hi-fi to each other when they realized what they were doing. Were they actually talking? The biggest enemies had some point in common. Now that was real new.
They looked here and there just to avoid the awkwardness.
Ka- (trying to start a conversation. Well he doesn't know why but he just wants to) We have some point in common!
Ni- (looks at him) Yeah!
Just then Kirti calls Nisha and asks them to come and see the card they chose. Nisha and Kabir move inside but on the door their shoulders collide. Millisecond wala eyelock. Kabir indicates Nisha to go first. And she went inside.
Ki- How's this? (Kirti showed them the card.)
It was a simple brown card with warli painting on the corners and had a pop up of the names of the groom and the bride.
Ni & ka- Simple yet elegant.
They looked at each other with an astonished expression.
Kar- Great then!
Kartik instructed the shopkeeper about the number of cards. They left soon after that. After sitting in the car:-
Ki- I am feeling hungry.
Ka- Bhabhi mere pet mein bhi chuhe kabbadi khel rahe hain.
Ni- Woh chuhe nahi teri gas wali problem hai.
Kabir glared at Nisha while Nisha smirked.
Kar- Guys there is a dhaba some distance from here. It would take fifteen minutes to reach there. Shall we go?
Ni- Awesome idea Jiju!
Ka- Haan iss bhukkad ko wahin chod aayenge. Wahan ka owner toh isse bahut khush bhi rakhega. Poora din thhusata rahega.
While Kirti and Kabir gave hi-fi to each other Nisha and Kartik gave Kabir a deathly glare. They reached the dhaba soon. Kirti and Kartik sat on another place forcing Nisha and Kabir to sit together because neither of them could have their food alone. Same habits again!
Ka- Kya khaegi tu?
Ni- Kuch bhi toh tere jaise mujhe irritate na kare pet mein jaakar aur terese comparatively better hon. (she was really pissed off!)
Ka- Matlab tu aaj khana nahi khayegi! (he smirked and then laughed.)
Ni -(sarcastically) Very funny! (to a boy who was serving food to other guests) Chotu!
Ka- (sarcastically) Uska naam who nahi hai!
Ni- We'll see. (she called chotu again and this time he turned)
Kabir was shocked. How did she know that boy? Because when Kartik said that they are going to a dhaba nearby she made no comments.
Chotu came to them.
Chotu- arre Nishu di! Kaise ho aap?
Nisha gave a smirk to Kabir.
Ni- Main toh bilkul dhinchak hu tu bata?
Chotu- Main bhi! Aapko pata hai main apne school exams mein calss mein 1st aaya.
Ni- Arre wah chote! Tussi ne toh wada accha kaam kar dita! (you did a great job) Twanu saddi kadi bhi zaroorat ho ik call mar dena, sanu twade saamne khade honge. Number toh hai na? (Whenever you need my help just make a call and I will be there. You have my number right?)
Chotu- Haan didi! Pichle baar tussi deke gaye the na! (yes did! You gave it last time.)
Ni -Twanu apni kaamiyabi da koi gift toh chahiyega na! Ki chahiye? (you have got success so you might need a gift as well! What do you want?)
Chotu- Gift di koi lor nahi. Tussi ne maa bauji ko mana diya isse zyada ki chahiye! Aaj tussi na hote te main kaddi padh nahi pata! Thank you didi (there is no need for a gift. You convinced my mom and dad, what else would I want! If you weren't there then I wont have been able to study ever in my life. Thank you didi.)
Ni- Ab tu mainu thank you bolega? (Now you'll thank me?)
Chotu- Sorry di! Ab batao mainu ki chahiye aj? Who special wala daal tadka with tandoori roti, makkhan marke? (Sorry! Now tell me what do you want today? That special Daal Tadka with Chappati with butter added to it.)
Nisha smiled and nodded.
Chotu- (looking at Kabir) Bhaiyya, aap kya loge?
Ka- (confused) Same thing.
Then Chotu left. Kabir was literally confused. He gave those confused looked like a child looks when he doesn't get an answer during the exam. (bad analogy) he was actually looking adorable.
Nisha understood his confusion. She didn't know why but she really wanted to clear his misunderstandings.
Ni- I have come here earlier. I met this young boy chotu who could not study because his father thought that if Chotu studied then they won't be able to make a livelihood as they do not earn much. But when I heard it I talked to the little guy's parents and told them about some government policies which would help chotu in studying. Finally they agreed to send chotu to a government school.
Ka- Punjabi? You know Punjabi?
Ni- Well when I was young I had a friend named Jaspreet. Papa is Punjabi by origin. So I wanted to make a card for him in Punjabi. That is why I learned Punjabi from Jaspreet. Proper toh nahi lekin thodi thodi aati hai.
Kabir smiled and Nisha smiled back. Hey wait! What did they do? They just smiled looking at each other. They broke their eye contact and looked here and there to avoid looking at each other. Soon they had their food. Later all of them left for home. They first dropped Nisha and Kirti and then the brother duo went home.

Guys, before i continue further, i want to tell u all that i might dedicate some parts to siblings bond. i mean that it is not totally a NiBir FF. Obviously NiBir will be the main leads but i might also focus on the families and their problems and not only on NiBir Falling in love type. i hope u guys are okay with it. if not plz tell me. i wont continue any further. Its not that i am warning any one of you but its just i want to be truthful to the readers. i hope that it is not taken in the wrong manner.
Yaar i am really bad at expressing what i want to say. plz samajh jao. And sorry in advance agar kisiko bura laga because of any reason.
Aur yeh bakwaas zyada lambi ho gayi hai. sorry for that too.
