Pammi took Lajjo's hands in her hands...
Pammi: Give the permission Lajjo...Look, I hesitated at first too but after all we trust our kids, at least I trust Nisha...
Lajjo: It is not about the trusting issue Pammi...I have full faith on our kids but it is the society I am thinking about, what would they think?
Maanjeet: I can understand parjaiji, but your society won't bother because they will be in Australia not in India...
Dolly: Yeah chachi, besides I will be there too...I would have kept both of them with me if the house was at a near place for their university...
Saurav: Yeah, as we have just started our business there so the proper Mansion would take one year to be build..After that Kabir and Nisha can move with us to there...
Rupam: But what about the first one week? Dolly won't be there and Nisha will have to stay with Kabir in the same flat...I think for one week, Nisha should stay somewhere on rent...I will somehow manage the money...
Umesh: Papaji, it is not about the money..Nisha can get any house on rent but just think in an unknown country won't it be at least safer to be with Kabir than to be with some unknown foreign strangers?
Aman: Maa, Papaji I think you both should agree...
Raanjot: Yes, Aman is right...
Veena: Rupam prahji, Lajjo parjaiji I think your younger brother is right...
Lajjo: *Taking a deep breath* Aman's bauji? I think we should agree...

Kabir and Nisha who was watching all these silently till now, looked at each other and smiled...Kabir closed his eyes to reassure Nisha that she will be just fine with him and Nisha nodded her head just to convey Kabir that she very well knew that...
Rupam: *Taking Kabir's hand in his* Kabir my son, please take care of Nisha...She has never gone out of Alandgarh...I don't know how will she manage without us...
Kabir: Rupam chachu don't you worry..Nisha will be all fine, I am taking the responsibility...*Smiles, holding Rupam's hand to assure him* Rupam gave a relieved smile too at Kabir...
Actually what happened was Nisha's hostel's seat which was happened to be given by the university got cancelled...They were having some legal issues with the new hostel, which they build for the scholarship holders, so they were then unable to provide them the hostel facility...As Nisha knew that Rupam couldn't afford the expense of a rented house, Nisha decided to cancel her dreams of getting into that university...But the Vijs had a solution for that...They had two flats in a same apartment building in Melbourne which they used to use as their vacation home in Australia...Kabir were suppose to live in one of them and the another one Nisha could use...Dolly who was happen to be settled in Australia too with Saurav as the construction of their hotel in Australia was about to start, could not stay in that aparment because that apartment was in the another corner of the city from the construction side and the school where they enrolled their kids...As they wanted to open hotels in Australia too and they knew Kabir would be taking admission in Melbourne, so a year ago, they started to construct finally a Vij mansion in the mid of the city so that all of them could move to there after finishing it and sell the two flats...The mansion would take probably one year more to be finished...After that Dolly's family, Kabir and Nisha could move there...For the first one week Kabir and Nisha had to live in the same flat as it would take a week to fix up Nisha's flat..The Vij's made ready one flat for Kabir as they did not know that Nisha would need one too..
So after Rupam and Lajjo also gave their consent to it, Pammi remembered something and called out for Maanjeet who was busy talking with Umesh about some business issue...
Maanjeet: What happened Pammi?
Pammi: Dolly's bauji, do you remember that we had another reason for coming over here?
Maanjeet: *Realising it* Oh yes, how can we forget it...
Pammi: Yeah, we forgot...I think we should call everyone here again..
Pammi and Maanjeet called everyone and told them that, Kabir had to leave for America the next day to make preparations as he had to leave for Australia in two weeks. So they wanted to do a little engagement ceremony of Ritesh and Kirti that day itself as a little promise to the Singh's that after Ritesh and Kirti's graduations, Kirti would belong to the Vij's, only if the Singh's did not have any problem...Raanjot and Veena were more than happy to know about it, so was Rupam and Lajjo..What problem they could have, their another daughter was getting married to their dearest Vij family..How lucky she too was!
Nisha and Aman took Kirti for a little dressing up while Ritesh waited for her impatiently...After few moments, Nisha and Aman came down taking a very blushing Kirti along with them...There was a veil on Kirti's head and a bindi on her forehead...Ritesh got lost in her...
Kabir: Ritesh bhai, a little bit control..Your graduation will take still 2 years and Kirti bhabi's will take 3...*Winks*
Ritesh: Kabir, you little...*Punching Kabir on his arm*
Kabir: Ouch! Kabir, you little what? Cutie? Ah well I know..
Kabir laughed out and Ritesh just looked away being irritated...
The engagement ceremony were done properly...After that everyone had sweets and snacks...Kabir was really upset as he would miss the delicious dinner feast because he had to go back to Chandigarh to meet some of his friends for the last time and then do packing...All the youngsters were having a good time in Nisha's bedroom when Kabir entered with a sulk face...
Jwala: What happened Kabir bhaiya?

Kabir: Shut up Jwala...No more salt on my wounds please...The aroma is killing me...
Nisha: *Laughing* I never knew Mr. Kabir Vij has these much love for food...
Dolly: Yeah Nishu, that he has surely but I think he is also tensed about the packing...
Kabir: Don't even make me remember that.. *Making sad face*
Kirti: Boys always don't like packing kind of things...
Jwala: Kirti bhabi, Kabir bhaiya never packs his bags himself always maa does it...This time maa has said that as he is going into university now, he won't get any help...
Nisha: Hahaha, poor you Kabir...
Kabir: Nisha, you two? I thought you were my friend...*Rolling his eyes*

At some point of their chilling out, when everyone was busy, Kabir noticed that Nisha was trying to wear the bracelet for a long time, which Jwala brought for her from America but she was not able too...Kabir stood up and went near her...
Kabir: Need help?
Nisha: Umm, you can?
Kabir: Ah well, at least I can give it a try though...
Nisha: *Smiles* Okay...
Nisha forwarded her hand to Kabir and Kabir took Nisha's hand in his hands...Kabir started trying to tie the bracelet, he was looking so innocent while giving efforts that Nisha could not take her eyes off him...When Kabir was done, he looked up and saw Nisha was smiling at him..
Kabir: Why are you smiling like that Nisha? *Confused*
Nisha: You know you looked so innocent while giving the efforts...
Kabir: Oh really? By the way, do you know how much cute and innocent you look when you smile?
Nisha: Is it?
Kabir: It is madam...
Nisha just smiled looking at Kabir and Kabir admired her smile thinking how much beautiful can someone's smile get...
It was the time for Kabir to leave, Kabir took the blessings of the elders and took leave from everyone..When he was about to step out of the door...He found Nisha coming towards him with a tiffin box...
Kabir: Now what's with this Nisha?
Lajjo: Oh that? Just some dinner I packed for you my child...Have it later with ease...
Kabir: Seriously chachi?! *Kabir ran to Lajjo and hugged her* I was so dying for missing the amazing dinner and here you are...The best chachi...
Lajjo: Haha, crazy son of mine *Patting Kabir's cheeck*
Kabir: Now I have to rush sadly...It is getting late...Nisha give me the tiffin box..
Nisha: Umm Kabir I am going with you till the car...I have to take the papers about the university which I needed. They are in your car remember?
Kabir: Oh yeah, but that does not mean you will carry the tiffin box..Now give it to me...
Kabir and Nisha were walking towards the car...The two friends who never stopped talking, were silent that day...They both just realised that they won't be seeing each other for the next two weeks...After their childhood which both did not remember, they met three weeks before and had developed a real good bond..
Nisha: Kabir?
Kabir: Hmm?
Nisha: Why are you so silent?
Kabir: Nisha, you are too..
Nisha: Oh hmm...
Kabir: I think, we both have the same reason...I will miss you Nisha...
Nisha: *Looking at Kabir* I will miss you too Kabir...
Kabir: I know, I know I am that cool *laughs*...On a other note, we will be just together after two weeks...Meet you soon in Melbourne...
Nisha: *Smiles* Yeah...
Kabir very much wanted to hug Nisha but he was not sure if Nisha would like it or not so he gave Nisha a side hug and handed her the papers she needed...Kabir got into the car, putting the tiffin box on the front seat and sat on the driving seat...Before driving off, he looked at Nisha and waved a bye, Nisha smiled and waved a bye too...
After a long eventful day everyone was tired and were resting in their rooms in the Singh house...Kirti and Nisha were preparing their bed...
Nisha: I am so happy Kirti, you are also engaged now...That too with Ritesh bhaiya...
Kirti: And I am very happy that you are now going to live with your would be one too in the same aparment building...
Nisha: Kirti, what rubbish are you talking about...*Irrirated face*
Kirti: Yeah yeah, truth is always rubbish to you Nisha...
Nisha: Kirti uff! You are just impossible...
