Day 10

The whole day was really relaxing for the whole cast and crew of the movie. There was very less shooting and the best part was that Viraj gave them a break. Everyone was enjoying this break when Kabir got a call from his friend, Rithvik. He spoke with him in such excitement that Nisha had never seen. She wondered what was happening. After Kabir hanged the call.

Nisha- Kya hua? Bandar ki tarah nach kyun rahe ho?

Kabir-(happily) Mere best friend ko baby girl hui hai, isse jyaada acchi news kya ho sakti hai?

Nisha-(happily) Wow, that's amazing.

Kabir- hai na? Main baby se milne jaa raha hoon, tu chalegi?

Nisha- Of course.

They took a leave and left for the hospital.

*Hospital*

Kabir- (to receptionist) please tell me the room no, of Asha Dhanjani, jinki aaj delivery hui hai.

Receptionist- Room No.64.

Nisha-Thanks.

They went to the room. Asha was sleeping and Rithvik was caressing her hair. Kabir knocked. Rithvik looked up and smiled. He came out.

Kabir- (hugging him) Congrats bro. Aap toh papa ban gaye hai...

Rithvik- (breaking the hug) Thanks yaar. Yeh kaun hai? Your GF?

Nisha- Hi, I am Nisha, Kabir ki SIRF ACCHI DOST.

Rithvik smiled at her statement and told them to go in as he wanted to go and buy some medicines for Asha.

They entered the room silently but Asha woke up.

Asha-(smiling) Hey Kabir. Come na...

Kabir went to her and congratulated her. He introduced her to Nisha who also congratulated her. Nisha and Asha were talking when Nisha looked at Kabir. He was looking at the baby as if it was the world's 8^th wonder. He picked her in his arm, but his face showed excitement mixed with fear.

Nisha- Kabir, place you hand under the baby's neck.

Kabir nodded and did as told. He was talking to the baby, who was staring at him with her eyes wide.

Nisha- mujhe bhi baby ko dekhna hai.

Kabir nodded in a no and continued playing with the baby's tiny fingers. Nisha watched him in awe. No one would say that this guy usually played pranks and was full on flirt. He looked so innocent.

Asha- Nisha?

Nisha- (out of trance) ya?

Asha- Go carry the baby naa...

Nisha-Kaise? Kabir mujhe baby ko choone bhi nahi de raha hai...

Asha looked at Kabir and giggled. Nisha went to Kabir and screamed, "Kabir, tere per ke paas, lizard hai."

Kabir looked at Nisha with fear, handed the baby to her and started running. Asha started laughing, but Kabir stopped when his eyes fell on Nisha. She held the baby protectively and caressing its cheek while telling her something. Kabir was sure, that if he had never loved her then he would fall in love with her today because the baby brought out her innocent side.

His trance was broken when the baby started crying.

Asha-(explaining) Neend aa rahi hogi shaayad, but she isn't sleeping.

Nisha started humming a lullaby.

Sapno ke saaiyan

Pankh laga ke

Aaja re nindiya

Aa re aaja

Mamta ki chadar

Ke chayyan tale

Raaj dulare hai

Inko sula ja...

In 10 minutes, the baby's eyes closed and she went in a deep slumber. Kabir looked at her in shock. Yaar, iss ladki ke aur kitne andaaz hai?

Nisha- Hume chalna chahiye.

Kabir nodded and they left the hospital.

*Saxena House*

Kabir was in the gallery when Nisha came with 2 cups of coffee. She handed him one. Both were sipping the coffee with their usual nok-jhoks.

Nisha- Pata hai, aaj tu baby ke saath itna innocent lag raha tha... jaise ek baccha ho jaata hai, ek baby ko dekhkar...

Kabir-(smiling) Kya karu? I love kids... they are so innocent... Waise tu bhi kaafi innocent hoti ho bacchon ke saath, huh?

Nisha- Meri baat alag hai, maine Jwala aur Bunty ke saath time spend kiya hai but you... My God, kitne cute lag rahe the...

Kabir looked at her. Her eyes widened when she realized what she said.

Nisha-(changing the topic) Tujhe pata hai, tu lucky hai, atleast tujhe koi force nahi karta, and you can live your life according to your wishes.

Kabir-(confused) Matlab?

Nisha- Mera matlab hai ki, mere ghar mein sirf dadaaji ki chalti hai... Actually mujhe archery mein interest hai, but Dadaaji mujhe competitions mein participate karne hi nahi dete...

Kabir- Phir tu yahaan kya karne aayi thi?

Nisha- College... I mean, St. Louis College mein mujhe scholarship mili, so I came here. College ke baad Dadaaji ne mujhe 3 options diye, Ek, Jaipur waapas jaao aur family business sambhalo, two, Japur mein unke friend ke grandson, Harsh ke saath shaadi karo aur teen, Mumbai mein hi settle ho jaao.

Kabir Aur tune teesra option chuna...

Nisha-Of course, mujhe jewellery ka J bhi nahi pata aur shaadi ke S se bhi nafrat hai... isse behatar toh assistant director ka job hai... Main toh chut gayi... (she sighed in relief)

Kabir- Aur Bunty-Jwala?

Nisha- (confused)Unka kya?

Kabir- You ran away from your dreams, maybe tomorrow your siblings too will run away from their dreams...

Nisha- Impossible, I mean Jwala Doctor banana chahti hai, aur Dadaaji usse kabhi mana nahi karenge, at least a doctor is better than an archerer.

Kabir- Aur Bunty ke dreams? Agreed he is young, usne apne liye koi occupation abhi choose nahi kiya hoga, but when he'll decide, usse tumhara example dekar chup kiya jaayega... Think about it..

Nisha stood there analyzing his words. Kabir took her cup and started washing both the cups. Nisha realized that it was high time she followed her dreams.

After having a simple dinner and they fell asleep early.
