Laughing at others and oneself is fair to an extent...But mocking at one's appearance is something I can never accept...When it comes to Palak...all Kapil comments is how she looks right? Same goes with Gutti and others...The other comedians are equally good and certain acts are brilliantly written too, no doubt. And Kapil is a really witty guy and I like his humor...I am not taking away credit from him at all or his talent...but there is a limit.
I think the audience are all a set up and scripted...I don't know.
I am not pointing at the fewer female cast...In a way, as you said, I am happy there are very few of them. Yet...male dressing up as female and the acts using them more or less disrespects women I feel...Not to forget, I am not even sure they are trying to portray women or the third gender- the comments mock at the third gender too.
