Chapter 10

Nisha and Kabir went home.

Sukku- Pehle cake, ab bandage?

Kabir- Ek accident hua.

Through the corner of his eyes, he saw Nisha glaring at him and he smirked.

Kabir- Bahut khatarnak accident tha...

Umesh- (concerned) You ok na?

Kabir- Ya bro. I'll just be back. (He went to his room).

Kirti- Accident?

Nisha- Woh actually, he and Viraj fought.

Sukku, Umesh Kirti- (shocked) what?

Nisha told him the whole incident. Sukku was happy that now his baby sister wasn't alone.

Sukku- Accha kiya, I am proud of him.

Umesh- (worried) Shut up. I just hope, Viraj and Kaira aur tamaasha naa kare.

Kirti-(bored) how blah Umesh Bhaiya, just relax bro.

Nisha went to her room and thought, "Bass itni si baat ke liye Kabir fought with Viraj. Kabir is never so angry young man types, phir aaj usse kya hua?"

*Next day*

It was important day for Nisha and Sukku as it the sports meet they were waiting for weeks. Nisha was participating in Archery while Sukku in Table tennis. The cousins and Kabir, Saurav, and Dolly reached the college, and wished Nisha and Suketu and took their places in audience. First it was Sukku's match, which he won and then male shooting. Viraj was representing their college. He stepped forward and took his place. Viraj shot and hit bull's eye.

Then it was Nisha's turn. The cousins and Kabir, Saurav, and Dolly were cheering for her, she smiled at them and kissed her bracelet, which Kabir had gifted her 2 weeks before. She picked her bow and arrow. She shot and it hit bull's eye. Nisha squealed in joy and went from there happily.

St. Teresa won the sports meet that year. All were happy.

Principal- It is a proud moment for us today, I request all the winners to come on the dais.

The winners were appreciated with a token of appreciation. Kaira adored the trophy which Viraj got but the winner of trophy was busy burning looking at the closeness his ex shared with her best friend. Nisha got down from the dais and shared a hug with Kabir and then with her cousins. They all went home after informing their parents about their win on phone. Ramesh and Laxmi were proud of their children. The gang came home and partied. After a tiring night they fell asleep. Kabir was going to sleep when his mom called.

Mom- Hey son!

Kabir- (happily) Hey Mommy!

Mom- My baby is too happy today. What happened?

Kabir- Nisha won the tournament.

Mom- Congratulation, to her and you.

Kabir- Main nahi, she won...

Mom-par khush toh tum lag rahe ho... (naughtily) Chakkar kya hai boss?

Kabir- (rolling his eyes) Mom, kuch bhi na?

Mom- Arrey? Woh sab chodo? You happy na, that's all I want...

Kabir- And?

Mom- Nothing much...

Kabir- How's naani?

Mom- Good. Tum so jaao, kal college bhi toh hai...

Kabir- Yeah, bye... take care...

Mom- Good night baby...

Kabir hanged the call and thought about his mom's words. "Shut up Kabir. There's nothing for Nisha in your heart. Go to sleep, ASAP!"
