Chapter 17
Kabir opened the door irritated...
Mumbling "5 minute baad bell bajate to konsa tufan aa jata?at least Mein nishu se apne dil Ki baat to bol deta!!"
"Kya??" the person standing on door asked...
Kabir looked up and found LAXMI glaring at him!!!
Without talking to him she went inside, directly to Nisha ...
Seeing her still lie-in on bed she panicked..
"Nishu.. Beta Tu thik to hai na?? 9 Baj gaye hai aur tu ab tak so rai Thi?"
"Kya ??? 9 baj gaye..??" Nisha checks the clock & found that her mother is right!! She glared at Kabir...
And Kabir looked down as an innocent small kid
Laxmi check her forehead to see whether she is alright or not??
Nishu looked at her mother hold her arms..
"Laxmiii relaxxx meee...
Kitna tension lete ho ap maa?? Main bilkul thik hu... Haan thoda sar dard ho raha tha! Par apka damad hai na mera khayal rakhne ke liye!! Usne ye magical nimbu pani diya.. Aur dard chhu ho gaya... " nishu replied showing her the empty glass and with big smile on her face to calm down her mother...
"Haan maa mein..."
Before Kabir could complete Laxmi interrupted
"wo sab chhod Nisha... Chal Tu fresh ho ja , Mein nashta lagati hu tere liye!!"
Kabir understood that she is ignoring him , so he didn't said anything else and left from there...
Nisha felt a little weird seeing this... She was about ask what's happening??why is she behaving like this with Kabir?
"Maa aapko kya hua hai?aap Kabir se..."
Before Nisha could complete Laxmi avoided her question saying , "nishuuu,.. Tu ab tak yahi baithi hai?tujhe kaha na maine jake fresh ho jaa... Chal jaa ab.."
"Achcha baba thik hai, jaa rahi hu.. Aap shant raho bas!!"
Nisha went to washroom to freshen up and Laxmi went to kitchen and served the food which she made & took with her for her daughter!!
Kabir was looking at her from a distance , he wants to talk to her and apologize for last night but Laxmi seems very angry and she wasn't in mood to listen to him... So he just stayed quite
Nisha came to the dining table where her mother was waiting for her with all her favorite dishes in breakfast...
"Wow maa... Sabkuch meri pasand ka?kya baat hai??"
Nishu sit there rubbing her hands in excitement & with a big smile on her face ..
Laxmi smiled seeing nishu's happiness
"Aj kuch special hai kya? Ummm aj mera birthday to nai h !! Phir??" Nisha asked curiously
"Kyu ?? Kuch khaas hona zaruri hai kya??Mera dil kiya to bana diya bas!!" Laxmi replied
"Achcha? aur aj achanak dil kyu kiya??bolo bolo?? Mujhe to kuch gadbad lag rahi h!! Sach sach bolo baat kya hai??" Nisha asked in teasing tone..
Laxmi : "aisa kuch nahi hai nishu !!
Koi baat nahi hai!! "
Aftr a pause she continued "Haan pata hai, Teri shaadi ho gayi hai, tu ab bachchi nahi rahi !! Par iss ka ye matlab nahi Mein apni beti ke liye uski pasand ki cheeze b nahi bana sakti?!!" Laxmi replied irritated as she was still frustrated with last nights arguments with Ramesh...
"are maa aap itna naraz kyu ho rahe ho ?? Mein to bas mazak kar rahi thi!!! Aur ye shaadi ki baat kahan se bich me aa gayi??apka jab Mann kare aap mere liye khana bana sakti ho... Shadi ho gayi to hamara rishta thodi na badal jayega??! Aap aisa kyu bol rahe ho?"
Laxmi remain silent where as Nishu feel she just spoiled her mother's mood with her stupid teasing question!!so she tried to cheer up..
"chalo chhodo ye sab..."
Saying this she jumped on food served in front of her,, all her fav ...
"ummm yummy.."
Seeing her enjoying breakfast, Laxmi smiled
On the other hand...
Kabir hearing nishu's voice quickly went to kitchen to took the breakfast which he made for her but when he came towards Nisha & Laxmi, he saw the dining table was full of yummy food that too nisha's favorite ones..
Seeing that he felt his bread butter jam stands nothing in front of that tasty food made by her mother, why will Nisha even look at this boring food?
He turned back & was about to leave just then Nisha called for him
He turn to face her and seeing a dull expression on his Nisha felt something is wrong & she looked at the tiffin in his hands, Kabir realising that Nisha noticed that tiffin box , immediately hide it behind and tried to made to an excuse to leave from there..
"aa,, Nisha Wo mujhe kuch kaam hai , mein abhi ata hu,."
He thought to leave as soon as possible but Nisha stopped him
"Ek minute Kabir..." saying that Nisha got up from chair & moved towards Kabir ...
Kabir wasn't facing her & was busy hiding that tiffin bcoz he didn't know how will she react to this?may be she made a joke out of it?
He felt a hand on his shoulder , which made him turn ..
He turned to her still hiding the tiffin,.,
"kabir..." nisha glared at him!!
"Kya chupa raha hai Tu?? Kya hai iss tiffin me?? Dikha!!"
She insisted...
"nai... Mein nai dikhaunga.."
But Kabir didn't want Nisha to see it .. So he didn't showed...
"Kabir meine kaha na dikha..."
They fought & finally Nisha snatched it from his hands...
She was abt to open it
"Nishaaa.. Nai plzzz...mat khol.."
Kabir urged..
"Kyu? Aisa kya hai isme??" Nisha asked curiously & continued opening it saying "ab to kholna hi padega... Pata to chale Tu kya chupa raha Tha?"
Seeing that it contains only "a few pieces of bread butter jam" she asked in amazement "Tu ye chupa raha Tha ?? Par Kyu?"
Kabir looking down on floor said " Wo me... Wo actually meine tere liye banaya Tha... For breakfast ..."
"Mere liye??" she asked smilingly "haan tere liye, Par..."
"Par kya..??"
"Wo Teri mom itna sabkuch bana ke layi hai tere liye , Wo b sab Teri pasand ka!! toh mujhe laga..."
"Oh toh tujhe laga ke apne fav food ke samne me tere banaye iss bread butter jam ko dekhungi b nahi!!Haina??"
"Haan.."
Nisha shook her head and came back to her place , sit there and started eating the bread butter jam pieces,,
Kabir was unaware of it , he was still standing in same position looking down on floor but what he heard in next few mins made him surprised & happy at same moment ...
It was convo between the mother & daughter
"Nisha Tu ye Kyu kha rahi hai..? Ye besuwad , tasteless khana??chod ise...!! Dekh me tere liye itna kuch bana ke layi Hu ye kha na beta..." laxmi said smilingly to her daughter
"Nai maa .. Mujhe yahi khana hai!! Haan janti Hu ke ye itna tasty nahi hoga jitna Baki sab hai! par pata hai maa.. Ye bhi specially mere liye hi bana hai!!! Jaise ke baki saara khana mere liye bana hai!! Aur iss liye ye dono hi equal hai maa.. " Nisha replied smilingly
Laxmi wasn't so happy with this reply but she stayed quite where as Kabir felt really good hearing that!!and a smile came on his face
"Aur waise bhi mujhe bahut bhook lag rahi hai!! Ap tension mat lo! mein akele sab kuch chat kar jaungi!! Ye jam bread bhi aur ye sara khana bhi!!!"
Nisha looked at Kabir who was standing there only where she left him but now with a smile on his face..
"Oye wahan khade khade muskura Kyu raha hai??idhar aa .. Hamare sath nashta kar!! "
Kabir wanted to come & join Nisha for breakfast butl he knows Laxmi wont b happy with this and he dont want to make situation uncomfortable , so he tried to avoid
"Nai Nisha me wo.."
"Haan pata hai.. Tune nashta kar liya hoga, par itna tasty food roz roz khane ko nai milta hai!! Ek din thoda zyada kha lega to koi afat ni aa jayegi!!"
He know he can't win over Nisha , so he agreed and came forward to the table but looked at Laxmi holding the chair who wasn't looking happy with this!!
"Main baithu??" he asked looking at Laxmi
She didn't replied anything and looked away..
Nisha who witnessing all this, now was sure something is definitely wrong but she thought to talk abt this with Kabir later..
There was silence in room which nishu broke saying "are maa se kya puch raha hai?? Baithna!! Wo thodi mana karegi..!! Haina maa?"
"Haan baitho na beta" Laxmi said dis-heartedly and faked a smile
Kabir sat there and nibir at their breakfast,,
Aftr having breakfast Kabir said Nisha to wait on dinning table and he went inside the room
Aftr a while he came back with medicines in his hands..
"Ye kya hai??" nishu asked making faces
"Teri medicines madam ... Aur kya?"
"i m not going to have it ..ok" "Oye... u hav to..."
Laxmi was in kitchen and watching them from there...
She came towards nibir and said "Kya fark padta hai?kal bhi to nishu ne medicines nahi Li !! Toh ab ye sab karne ka kya matlab??" Laxmi taunted kabir
Nisha got an excuse bcoz of her mother so she used it...
"bilkul sahi kaha maa!! Aj badi Fikar ho rahi ise ! Dekho to... Jab kal nahi khayi meine medicines toh aj kyu khaun??
"Oh really wifey??" Kabir smirked
He Gave her a glass of water & her meds & said "thats not true..." and winked at her...
Nisha got confused for sometime and just starred at him
Kabir saw she was lost in thinking so he took advantage of it and made her hav the meds ...
Nisha reminisced a blur view of last night how he made her eat those apple pieces & then medicines also
Aftr realizing it Nisha was hell annoyed...
"Kabir ke bachche tune mujhe..."
Kabir understood wat she is upto and quickly ran from there...
Nishu ran behind him
And their Tom&Jerry fight started..
Kabir ran in the whole house and then entered in their bedroom Nishu was running behind him and throwing things on him...
"are Nisha bas kar yar.. Are plzz.."
Nisha didn't listen & continued throwing stuff on him
"Are nai .. Are lagegi mujhe... Stop it plz... Nishu..."
Nisha was abt throw his fav vaaz(flowerpot) on him
Kabir widened his eyes & shouted..
"Nai Nishu .. Wo nai..." he came to her and snatched it from her but lost his balance & fall on bed , nishu also also fall with him...
Now Nisha was on top of him they had a cute eyelock...
While on other side Laxmi got a call from G to come back home , so she thought to bid a bye to nisha
Nibir was still lost in each others eyes and their eyelock broke by a voice...
"Nishu..."
They heard it and quickly stand up on their foots
Laxmi entered in the room & said "Nishu chal beta Mein ab nikalti Hu..."
"Are maa itni jaldi?abhi toh aap aye! Aur ab jaa rahi ho?"
"Haan beta , ghar se phone aya tha didi ka.. Kuch kaam hai.. jana padega ..."
Laxmi replied cupping nishu's face
Nisha gave a sad expression then smiled and said "Abhi Jane de rahi Hu par next time saare kaam khatam karke Ana.. Phir hum dher saari baaten karenge.."
"pakka" Laxmi replied with a smile..
Both left room ..
Kabir also followed them
Nisha walked with her mom till door.
Laxmi kissed on her forehead and bid her bye..
She gave an angry look to Kabir and left the place..
