I simply love negative characters played well by their actors - there's something very satisfying about getting so riled up over a well acted baddie that one feels like throwing a shoe at the character! Far far more satisfying that being doe eyed over a good looking but unrealistic hero.
If I were an actor I'd embrace the roles of baddies with utter relish - why be a hero when you can show off your talent so much better as a baddie? I'd have thought Taher would appreciate this chance to prove how versatile he is...
Perhaps he is too invested in the idea of being a hero that he can't step back and be objective about the whole thing?
