I think he feels he will be hated by the fans if he plays such a role. Many of my favorite actor are playing negative only. eg take KVB he made me hate Viraj Dobriyal in sb but he was awesome in that. the same goes for prakash raj raghuvaran etc. they are awesome.

Well I appreciate taher saying he doesn't encourage this kind of stalker behavior but it is unnecessary to say that he is an actor he should play what ever the writers said. It is highly un professional saying things against his own character and show

They must have planned a pakka story after viraj left for london. but due to fans' pressure he was brought back. the fans too should trust the ph. I have seen many shows in which the hero suddenly turns grey. The actors should trust the ph and agree with them as they know better. same with the fans.

CVs decide what they think is the best for their show. Would they want to ruin their show and the characters they have created intentionally or knowingly. They would have had hours of discussion, much more than us to have come to this conclusion. Yes...PH and CVs have to be trusted. They go for such character changes having something really substantial in mind. Actors have to do their duty, ACT their characters.

If Viraj is hated, Taher has to consider he is doing his job well. Actors playing negative roles have to expect their roles to be hated.

What matters in the end is the story and the show. An actor or a charactor can never become bigger than the show. the show is more important. and now nauc is going pretty good story wise. the fans should trust cvs. even the EWF track was ended splendidly. they will make viraj realise and redeem him in the end for sure.

We hated Nisha didn't we during doobi doobi...but that was a phase she has crossed. Viraj too would cross this phase.

Okay people! Stop commenting about his unprofessionalism!
This post was made to understand him and not to go against him!
Folks views are definitely accepted!
But this is not the way people!
The Message that Taher Shabbir gave was to his fans who are bombarding him with the questions about his negative character.. It was just to make his fans understand that he is just doing his job and he is happy with it!
And the way he said about not doing it in real life is a good gesture on his part towards his fans!
Normally fans are mad so they actually follow the actors without thinking!
So yea..
And the people who are saying that they know what's the difference in reality and fictions and commenting that he didn't need to clarify that! Okay! Good that u understand!
But.. Please ! It was his attempt to calm the audience down! But it seems its going against him..

CAN WE STOP IT HERE! It seems you'll just want to prove your point here that anyhow he is wrong! No he is not..
Its not because I'm his fan.. But the statement he made was actually the calm the audience down..
Sorry if I have hurt anyone out here!
But I really think the discussion is going off track!

Thanks for sharing 😊
I read few comments on the first pages (too lazy to go through all 😆) and agree with many. It's nice of Taher to come clean on his stand about stalking though one can argue whether it was needed or not- I see Viraj stalking Nisha but I have never associated this with Taher since both, Viraj and Taher, are not the same and I am sure viewers are smart enough to make the distinction. Also, I remember an interview of his where he makes clear how serious the institution of marriage for him is and that married people shoud stay in their marriage- so, obviously, he has already tried to make a clear distinction between his reel and real personality.

His displeasure (which is also evident by his acting- or am I imagining it?)... well, I guess it has to do with Viraj being his first role. He probably got attached and doesn't like the change. Maybe it's also because he wants to play the "hero" and simply doesn't like to see himself as a villain - and also fears that his fans might see him in a negative light. The latter is a baseless assumption, as many already have mentioned - big names have played really dark characters and still are very much loved by their audiences. Personally, I've always kind of liked darker characters, if they have been portrayed well (in books) - I mean, I can't completely connect to people like OMM as I don't get how their minds work. There are many villains in the TV industry I can't understand at all because them being evil, I simply don't get. But here- Viraj's change was actually subtle (in my opinion) and I could follow it, see how he became grey and slipped into darker shades; it was understandable considering what all had happened to him - and I liked it that there was a reason for him to turn grey/negative. It makes his character so much more complex and interesting.

Given that, there can be an awesome redemption track, actually. Two shows would come to my mind where I have seen really amazing redemption tracks for characters who had slipped off into darker/wrong paths and after their proper redemption, I loved them even more. Same can happen to Viraj- he can be given a really good redemption track, that would be actually amazing - and would give his character even more authenticity.

By the way, has Taher been bashed or Viraj? I know that people have shown their displeasure about him favoriting tweets bashing Aneri - so, this had nothing to do with his character on screen. And if he had been bashed because of Viraj's current portrayal... lol, is it even worth to worry about that? Obviously, if people can't distinct between on-screen and off-screen, the problem is with them and not Taher.

I have not followed this actor before but he comes out quite weird to me..I mean whats the point to clarify such things?Isn't it obvious? Many people play negative shades and also who were earlier positive in turn negative as track demands or CVs demand..He is very unprofessional to support tweets and comments where his own show is degraded..if he is unhappy than he should leave the show instead of acting like a baby trying to gain sympathy acting as a victim..thats not the way to behave and I am surprised that his fans are saying things like oh he is gem of a person!! I mean what "gem" part do they see in his recent behaviour?? Be a man instead of being a victim dude..stop trying to fool your fans!..I don't understand why makers are putting up with such an actor who is supporting bad comments about their show just because he is not the main lead anymore! and this has nothing to do with me being a NiBir fan..if tomorrow CVs make Kabir also second lead and Mishkat acts such way, you will hear me have same opinion about him as well..I dislike people who do not respect their jobs..saying I am being a professional and acting totally opposite..hypocrisy at its best!!
