Chapter 2: H.O.P.E - Hold On, Pain Ends
Sakshi rings the doorbell of her house. She looked frustrated, annoyed as she couldn't find her keys. She still waits for an answer and continues to press the doorbell. While, indoors Kabir is changing his clothes; he removes the apron and runs to open the front door.
"Hey!" Kabir opens the door, taking a deep breath. Sakshi, on the other hand ignores him and comes in her house.
"Baby, I made lasagna today! :D Tum change karke aa jao and we'll eat together." Kabir says while closing the door.
"Kabir,I already ate and I feel very sleepy." Sakshi says impulsively, and goes to her room.
Kabir goes to the dining table and sits to eat his own baked dinner, though he stops midway and puts the piece back in the plate; he clears the table and puts the dish in the fridge. He takes his jacket from the sofa and slams the door as he leaves his apartment.
He drives unknowingly to the Bondi Beach; he parks his car at the beach and starts walking towards the shore. While at the beach, Nisha is buying chocolate ice cream for herself. She notices a guy walking in the sea; she follows him and realizes that it is Kabir.
"Tum tare gin rahe ho yaa chand ka diameter calculate kar rahe ho!??!" Nisha sarcastically asks Kabir, who seems to be dazzled by the moonlight.
He recognizes the voice of the girl and turns around to find Nisha smiling and licking her chocolate ice cream. Yet, Kabir continues strolling in the sea and leaves Nisha behind.
"My love! What have I done to receive so much of hatred!! Tumhe maine kahan kahan, nahi dhunda...uhhh...paun padti hoon, job hi hua usse bhul jao. Ek fresh start nahi lee sakte!" Nisha pretends to sob but then suddenly smiles with a wink.
However, Kabir decides to ignore her and moves a step ahead and starts walking again; deep in the sea.
"Main jaa rahi hoon Kabir; tumse aur iss kamyabi se door!" Nisha goes on talking to Kabir and she sees him turn again. He folds his arms and glares at her, giving a frown look.
"Ohh...galat dialogue naa...lekin I put so much of effort yaar, samjh naa..." She scratches her head but instantly smiles at Kabir.
"Yaar nahi samjhna mujhe! Kitni baar samjhun main huh?? Doesn't she have any responsibility! Why the hell am I doing everything???" Kabir raise his voice higher and bursted out on Nisha.
"Ab bolo naa...kyun bolti bandh ho gayi tumhari?" He holds Nisha's forearms tightly and presses them hard at a point. He gets a glimpse of Nisha's eyes filled with fear and instantly releases the grip.
"Sorry!" Kabir says innocently. They slowly walk towards the shore; there is silence, while Nisha stares at Kabir continuously, Kabir is looking down and realizes in a few minutes that they have reached the shore. He looks up to see Nisha smiling again.
"How do you do this, Nisha??" Kabir asks with curiosity.
"Kabir...hmm...ice cream khaoge?" Nisha avoids the topic. Kabir nods and both start walking towards his car, while eating their ice cream.
"Well, I should get going now." Nisha says while looking at her watch.
"Nisha, tumne mere sawal ka jawab nahi diya!" Kabir looks at her intensely.
"Agar saare sawalon ka jawab de dungi toh hum kal baat kya karenge. " She winks at him this time.
"Nisha, thank you! Waise, kal shaam ko mere saath dinner karogi, Sagra restaurant mein?" Kabir asks her politely with a smile on his face.
"Sure!" Nisha nods and bids adieu to Kabir.
