@ shweta : Completely agree with you.

. I never like Nishu's self obsessed attitude. As if she is the only one who is going to miss Dolly. She is pretty old to understand India and its traditions. One has to follow a certain code of conduce , be it any place. We had to wear Saree during our freshers. We could not help it. I never had wore a saree before and it was impossible to carry that 5 mts long cloth all day. But I had to. This is life after all.
Viren do have the right to slap his son, be what the matter be. Wearing lehenga or whatever it was. First of all. she must have enough courtesy to knock the door before barging in. If not, then at least she can show some respect to her elders. She didnt bother to change those tomboyish clothes after the lehenga accident. On the top of it, he is shamelessly serving herself some golgappas. Such attitude doesnt really go well for the in-laws present there who are anyways taunting all the time.

Then she was aimlessly roaming here and there to let everyone know about Umesh's GF. I understand that she is exicted but its your cousin's mehendi ceremony . She behaves she is oblivion to everything around her. She calculates everything on her terms. I like it, it is a good thing. I don't like it, its a bad idea. Nothing else matters. She wanted a farewell party so she will do it. Even if it means breaking the rules set by the elders. How much difference would have it make if the party was organised at daytime ? How much difference would it make if they minus he liquor programme and thereby include Bunty in the celebration? But no, she has her own set of rules and never mind what are the repercussions , she wil try her idea. What worse! she has no remorse.

One good thing about the character is that she is not a fake person. She is what she is. Quite immature in accordance to her age but fearless unlike other cousins. One good thing about the show is that it gives both the new and old generation a fair chance to present its views. While Nisha must have obliged the lehenga idea, the family should have given her some time to make herself comfortable wit h the idea. They literally pushed her to do it.

@NM I don't approve the way Nisha interferes. She almost everytime barges in. The way she always speaks with elders isn't respectful. We still don't know the details behind the partiality with Ramesh. Ramesh was paid less because he was alleged to have been the reason for a particular loss.

I am a person who, how much ever wrong the other person is, speaks with my parents first before interfering. Because my actions will reflect my parenting. Right or wrong, they are elders. Viren goes to slap Umesh, Nisha comes and holds his hand stopping him. Agreed, Viren is wrong. But what right does Nisha has to interfere in Umesh's family matter. It's happening in their room?

Next is raising voice and speaking. Again I'll repeat, how much ever the elder is wrong, the younger shouldn't raise the voice and speak. Again a sign of disrespect for me.

I am telling this, considering a family like the Nisha's. If its an outsider you may anytime stand up for your right. Nisha's act isn't going to solve anything, but only will make matters worse.

Shwets. Parenting will be questioned even if you don't do any wrong. whoever wants to see negativity, will see that only. haven't we seen our society trash anyone even on basis of looks?
if Roopal has to question Lakshmi's Parenting, even if Nisha behaves all according to elders, she will still taunt Lakshmi that Nisha isn't like her Kirti. some people are that way. and whoever wants too see good things in Nisha, there are many. She is fierce. she is strong. may be it's her age, she doesn't know how to utilize her energy in right place, but she is nonetheless very brave girl.
Ramesh thinks whatever his elders (his brothers and their wife) say, is ok. pyar me kehte hai.
everyone in that house keep taunting him. his brothers, his dad. in front of his kids, nieces and nephew. he doesn't feel bad coz his nature is like big deal but his wife does feel bad when everyone at every opportunity taunts her husband, his kids feel bad too. what respect are you keeping of your son when you scold him in front of his kids? not just simple scold but rub his failure on his & his family's face every time? and may be Kids have grown up with it all these years. so they have became careless about what others says. because family members anyway blame them for every thing. whatever may be Ramesh's story, but a failure doesn't allow anyone to blame you 10 times a day. it's just wrong. his family has been suffering of this since years. long term effects. to me Nisha and Suketu aren't wrong. bunty hasn't seen all this, but Nisha has and it affects her. makes her rebellious and outspoken.
and Viren is wrong to raise hand on his grown up son. in their room or house. if I have to witness something, I will stop it too. That's just the way I am. wrong is wrong. age doesn't make you right.

Firstly, in Indian families kids are never grown up. They are never too old to get punishment from their parents.Even Viren got his does from his mother.
Secondly, we have no idea what kind of failure are they discussing everytime. So, let this point rest until we know more about it

Thirdly, Viren and his family were discussing something. That went far and he was about to slap his son. Whether it was right or wrong is a different question altogether. The question should be Nisha's interference. Her attitude is making her a vilaiin in the family. Come on! Viren is his son. He is not going to kill him anywyas. No one has to come to rescue him.

Fourthly. as far as taunts are concerned, that's very much part of Indian families but that doesn't give the kids the chance to taunt them back. I hated even Dolly's sharp remark to Roopal chachi. I found Nisha's conversation to Tauji is bad taste too.

Thanks to out Tv industry, they end up showing everything as cool things. This time they are doing this to teenagers. In most cases, you will find school going kids doing such 'cool' activities.

Nisha has many good things to be noticed. but people in general watch out for flaws then those good things. That's why Dhoni may be the best captain who made India world cup but if he fails once, he has to be criticised. This is the way it is. In any case, Nisha is doing the same isn't it ? Everyone has some good or bad qualities but she has to take everything on her terms. Whatever is not her type is a wrong way to do it.

Her impulsive behavior is going to put her in a big problem some day.

@NM
I get your point, but I still stand by my point. She is in college? Out of college? Imagine, will she do the same with the teachers and faculty if someone does something wrong? Will she be able to sustain then? There is a way to argue and stand up for rights and the way Nisha does is wrong according to me. The way she speaks to her elders is pure disrespect. It shows she just doesn't care for them or anyone. Why don't she take the same tone with Dadaji?

The family taunts Ramesh for reasons unknown. But don't they love him? The hug between Viren and Ramesh, and the way the three brothers enjoyed singing in the night showed that beyond the friction they are together. It could be some action of Ramesh's has hurt the family and they are just unable to forget it. Ramesh is giving them time and hence ignores the taunts. I agree Lakshmi and Nisha cannot take it. But is Nisha's actions helping in anyway? She spoke against Viren now...what happened? Was she able to get her point forward?

I am against slapping as well, but it would have been better if Dadiji or his wife had stopped them. Umesh himself could have done it. Yes, they are weak and Nisha is strong and hence is able to stand up. But she needs to understand and control herself.

What did Nisha do when Kirti was commenting? Wasn't she the one to start pushing and hitting?

Nisha is a very complicated character and she is learning what is life is. I am happy that there is a character with flaws which may change as the show progresses.

She is very impulsive. Doesn't think about the consequences. Acts according to her ideas and views and doesn't care about the rest. I loved how Dadaji made her feel bad by telling her to sense the truth.

Yes. BBB is one of the best shows we have had on television. It was a complete show with complex family issues dealt seriously with a bit of fun around. I enjoyed the first season completely, even after Praveena's death. Yes, if she had been around it would have been more fun, nevertheless it give a new dimension to the story, I could not have seen another actor as Praveena.
