Ahem! So here I come with my review on Episode 1105. 😎

Three words - I Was Surprised!!!

Practically because I found the episode quite decent and honestly if Daya-Shreya was your reason to quit, then you should have done that long ago like in that waterfall episode or something.

Now detail review.

I loved the opening scene. Daya and Abhijeet's conversation was really good. It wasn't reduced to unnecessary comedy or drama. Two matured people at their age definitely would talk straight and that's what I loved the most. Like Daya losing cool and immediately apologizing Abhijeet doing what was necessary without showing attitude - it was simple yet good.

Coming to Shreya and Daya, first of all, the actress looked really pretty. Plus she was much better in this scene than that waterfall episode.

I was badmouthing her the other day because I thought they were on duty and she expected Daya to talk to her.

Here I can't blame her. Yes, they are C.I.D. officers but they had their personal life too. So when she was getting engaged and she saw Daya in front of her, I didn't find her wrong in expecting that Daya would finally confess and stop the tamasha.

I loved Purvi too. The actress is actually pretty and in the Indian attire she looked really beautiful. I loved her expression more than Shreya's when the groom's mother asked Shreya to quit post their wedding.

Even Shreya was good in that scene.

Now honest opinion - I have problem with forced romance. But as long as it's portrayed properly, I am more than happy to watch it.

I hated Shreya's intense gaze at the worst possible place and time.

But this episode looked quite subtle with the actors doing really great. If they had maintained this subtlety, I would have no problem with Daya-Shreya.

Okay, I'll first talk about my detachment with CID...

D-S was my actual reason to quit and I had actually quit watching CID regularly after episode 977-978 cos that was the STUPIDEST case ever...

Then that episode where Shreya was phasaofied in a case... And then, that stupid Ishq Wala Love sequence...

After that episode, I just watched episode 1000-1001 cos they were good. Then I watched episode 1008 but I gave up after the first few minutes. Then I watched 1014-1015 as they were also pretty much decent. After this came the vrat special and I immediately regretted my decision of watching the episodes considering that it was supposed to be a Daya special episode.

Then I watched episode 1030-31 but again regretted my decision as it turned out to be another stupid YSPT. I'll never forget that fake fight between ACP-Dr. Salunkhe; Daya and Abhijeet and others too... And that Bechaini kam karne wala tomato juice... 😡

Yes, episode 1036 was a good one with an awesome acting by everyone especially Daya sir, ACP sir and the best by Aditya sir...

Then came the famous two episodes series... The operation special. My maa was watching that and I happened to catch a glimpse only to watch that operation scene and raise my BP.

Uske baad, I watched episode 1050 as it was really good with a nice disguise by D-A. Then, the ending part of episode 1055 was also good. Purvi did a really great job there. 👏

Then came the worst ever Giraftaar series... How can I forget that series? The entire torture... How can I forget that D-A fight where Daya fought with Abhi as he scolded Shreya for shooting a criminal who could have been an important witness whom they were supposed to catch alive!!! How can I forget Shreya accusing Abhijeet of killing Daya??

I began to hate Shreya like anything during this track... And I gave up watching after the third episode of the series.

I then straightaway watched episodes 1083-84... Just one word: Awesome. Awesome acting by everyone especially Aditya sir and that kid... 👏 👏

There was just one particular scene which destroyed my mood.

Then came the mahasangam series which was another stupid series... I resorted to YouTube and FFing during this time.

Khair, at least till this time, I used to watch CID occasionally or even on YT by skipping but the episode 1105 made me feel angry... My anger was not because of the episode but because of the track.

I took a permanent Sanyas for 10 episodes after this because the CVs ruined Daya and Abhijeet's friendship.

Ek taraf, they made Abhijeet lie to Daya. I mean come on!!! He could have told Daya the truth... Daya won't have gone running to Shreya to tell her everything or would have rushed to fight with her father?? Okay he did not confront Shreya's father as her mother was a heart patient and he had asked Abhi to keep the matter between the two of them... But couldn't Abhijeet tell the same to Daya?? Daya would have understood and kept quite, no??

Then coming to Daya... I get it that he was angry but he could have confronted Abhijeet in private... What was the need to create a scene in the bureau?? Then calling Abhijeet a backstabbing friend? Uske upar se, if Abhijeet did not tell him the truth on asking once, couldn't he have asked for the second time? The team is discussing the case and he is passing comments on Abhijeet indirectly?? The juniors are solving the case and the seniors are busy in a fight?? Also, all of a sudden Abhijeet turned from his brother like friend into a mere colleague?

Also, how could he say that Abhijeet did not give the letter deliberately?? Abhijeet was the one who forced him to confess his feelings to Shreya... Why will he deliberately not give the letter?? Then, the earlier Daya used to be calm and think about the matter before jumping to conclusions... Why couldn't he do it this time?? Why couldn't he try to think that why didn't Abhijeet give the letter?

(Not talking about lying part as Abhijeet was wrong there... He shouldn't have lied to Daya. Just talking about the letter part.)

Uff!! Really sorry for this loonngg rant...

Well, I can't say anything about the complete episode as I had started watching CID on YouTube by this time and that too by FFing.

Daya-Abhijeet conversations are always fun and sweet to watch...except those 10-12 episodes.

Bold: I confess I did not watch this entire scene completely... My sister watched and told me. So, whatever I said was based on her opinion... Cos honestly, I never felt like watching this episode again as after this, the fight due to the letter fiasco began. So, I could not bring myself to watch it...

Purvi is definitely one of the best... There are some episodes where she has done an amazing job. If you want, I can tell you those particular scenes...

Now, I do agree that I did not have any problem with their romantic pairing if they would have kept it subtle...

The track had actually started in episode 942-43: "Abhijeet Khatre Mein" but it was kept subtle until 977-78... From this episode, it became an unbearable crap for me.
