Those comments were always there - whenever they inserted Mitul. Since he was gayabofied for weeks, these episodes didn't have those comments. I haven't read one positive comment about him or that anyone was interested in him. I guess it's only the two of us who love his appearance. 😆

Exactly! To do that, one needs to have really solid track. Personally if you ask me, Othoi's portion with Nazifa's MIL has much more depth than any of her scenes with Nokkhotro.

And Nokkhotro's entry was quite good and their equation could have been a lot better. But for no good reason they made him look chichora, not cute. So it's no wonder that people didn't like their portion much.

Agree completely with you... even I dislike when characters do such kind of things, hiding things from parents etc. I myself have never lied or hid anything from her so, I can easily relate to you.

And you know hiding, Ariana actually made up a lot of stuff and any parent would fume if they found their 8/9 years old lying with that much conviction. So, I am done with today's episode and I am equally as confused as you were the other night that should I be happy or sad or annoyed or what?

First of all, it's one of those rare episodes where I am totally in love with Nazifa and can understand from where she is coming and why she is saying certain stuff.

The whole episode, be it her MIL or imaginary Mitul who tried to make it look like a 8 year old lying to her mother is a very insignificant thing and it's Nazifa who is overreacting.

I have different opinion. It's not that she has fought with someone in school or stole her friend's chocolate. It was a serious issue and it had been going on for a really long time. Let's put aside the fact that Shayan is a wonderful guy and actually loves the kid. But in this era of se**al predators and pedofiles, which mother wouldn't freak out if she finds out something like this?

I know I would because 1/1000th of such situation and I freeze when it concerns my nephews and nieces.

Then again, blame it on me growing up in a nuclear family but as much as I loved my own grandma, I do believe grand parents should never come between when parents are being tough and make it look like - Bahu! Tum overreact kar rahi ho!

Coming to the best part - the convrsation between Mitul and Nazifa. As usual, he was with his rant - You hurt my little princess and haven't you ever lied to your parents? I was like are you kidding me? 🤬 🤬 🤬

Loved Nazifa's reply when she said - Kya kar lo ge? Mere hat-pa bandhkar peetoge? And I loved when she pointed out the hypocrisy that it was really easy for Mitul to judge her because he just died. He had no responsibility but it was her who was stuck. Her little daughter whom she had always taught never to lie - hid something so big, Othoi - whom she considered as her sister, went behind her back and Shayan just wouldn't leave her alone. So Mitul can say whatever he wants, do whatever he wants but the truth is, she is the one who was suffering.

A small mention to Shayan and Othoi - Othoi being terribly scared that Nazifa would chew her head off and how she shouldn't have meddled. Felt bad for Shayan when Othoi was going on and on about it because ultimately he will lose everything.

So let's see what happens next. 😈 😈 😈

Well, I think disappointment zyada tab hota hain jab aap koi show dekh rahi ho aur thoda bohut emotional attachment hain. Because admit it, kitni baar hum-ne shayad overreact ki hain when it came to Piya? 😛

Then again, when I first watched the stabbing scene of MATSH, the continuation where Ranveer bani Parvati 🤣 🤣 🤣 My original reaction was - The girl is so selfish! Shikhar is running to save her and here she is hallucinating Ranveer in his place. And of course, I am always ready to cry with the third angle.

Literally after 5 years, now that I have watched the entire thing and know about the plot, I won't say I had tears in my eyes but my heart broke when I saw Nutty crying for Ranveer. In fact she actually had a dialogue - Akhiri baar use dekhna hain!

I was like - tu nahi maregi bahen par mera to dil toot raha hain! 😭 😭 😭

Btw, exams se yaad aaya, did you get any notice regarding your exams?

I still haven't got any official news. But yes, they are trying to reach to a conclusion about how to take the exam maintaining social distance. It's the thesis part that's more problematic. I just had a conversation with my ex-supervisor with whom I am still associated with; we might have to abort our thesis program and attain a non-thesis degree because it's too risky to open the labs, considering the type of facility we have and the ever increasing second wave of Covid. Not to mention winter is coming which would aggravate the problem even more.

I completely agree with whatever you have said. Nazifa was definitely not over reacting. Besides, as you said, it was not a small matter like she fought with her classmate or stole someone's chocolate or pencil or pen. It was a major issue.

As you said, this is an era of se**al predators and paedophiles and it is natural that every parent will be concerned for their kid's well being. Here, it was Shayan who is a thorough gentleman. What if he was not so? In real life, which mother won't freak out in this situation?

Besides, there is something that is called: nipping in the bud.

As you said, Nazifa has always taught her daughter to always speak the truth and never lie. And if once you get away with your lies, it actually becomes a habit. Aaj outings and Shayan ke baare main jhooth bola hai, maybe aage jakar kisi aur cheez ke baare main bole aur uske baad kisi aur ke baare main...

I completely agree with you here... if you are emotionally attached to the show that you watch, then disappointment to bahut hota hai. And yes, we have definitely overreacted many times when it came to Pia.

But in my case, agar emotional attachment nahi hai aur hum koi show dekh rahe hain, to bhi kabhi kabhi disappointment hota hai if the writers mess with it. Like abhi I am not much attached to BV but still, I will be disappointed if the writers show something stupid. Cos ek reason show ka track record bhi hota hai.

Like here in BV... Abhi tak ka inka track record kaafi had tak clear hai. They haven't dragged any drama nor have they shown something stupid if we forget these dream sequences which is why I am cutting some points. So, if now they show Dev or Vivaan or the antagonists doing something stupid/out of character, naturally I'll be disappointed.

Here too the covid cases are increasing day by day. Today was the zoology exam and all my friends from that batch were worried as hell while going for the exams. Earlier we used to ask each other to wish us luck for the exams. Here, everyone was asking each other to pray that they don't catch the virus.
