Firstly I would thank you for starting a new and interesting discussion. Before I do start, I totally don't like Kal Ho Na Ho movie, we all have our preferences, so would not put any reference from it.

Itna formality! 😆 😆 😆

About preference, coincidentally most of my favorite shows be it Once Upon A Time, Grey's Anatomy even Maaya 2 although it's a web series, at least through one couple this situation got highlighted and in the most realistic way. But since those were American, thought to include a Hindi example.

BTW, would like to know about your views on KHNO. 😊

it's not necessary that you will end up with your love, and every person cannot just elope with their lovers to have a fairy tale ending.

Exactly! Because there may be so many issues and problems and unfortunately, you may end up alone or with someone else.

But any person needs time to get over the love, cos one isn't a Robot, that you just switch buttons and moods, it takes time. Also memories would be there, and that will have a place. Marriage partner will be good, you will take time to adjust, may develop love too, but love can co-exist. In fact, partner must be encouraging and accept too.

This is my point too! Like in Grey's Anatomy, I have gone gaga over Link's consideration and how Amelia finally got the partner she deserved. But there was one scene between Amelia and Owen where despite the later trash talking at first, Amelia said that she came a long way and she was thankful to Owen for that. And they both decided to remain friends.

Now I can't deny, for most of the times Owen had been a douche. But it was true too. They had a family and she was letting her guard down; even when she didn't want to conceive she was finally opening up to starting a family and everything. Link gave her assurance that's true but without Owen, she would never get to be a foster parent and realize she too, could be an amazing mom.

So both the guys co-existed with their shares.

Only she chose who was better for her.

Plus 180 degrees flip is crazy and nonsense. I hate it to the core, just to justify concept or leads lovers or triangle people turn over night villains, and FLs are too good to be true!! Like I love Adi-Pankhuri as a couple, as a character though I love Adi, cos he is damn real and human, Pankhuri becomes too good to be true, to the point, till Adi doesn't say dialogues, it looks fake and forced. Am not saying, show extreme wrong things, but something!!

I didn't get your point. Doesn't say dialogues mean?

Like even post marriages, friendship and friends must have their own place, though many actually scrap that. But that's my perspective. Priorities will be there, but you could change percentages rather than total deletion.

Exactly!

Definitely, love can happen many times, and each love will be different. People can have different memories. It's normal, and you can move on.

Couldn't agree more. 🤗

🤣Formality is needed!! See, I am not much of a remakes person anyways, and then I found the movie way too glorified. Don't take me wrong, but again Srk's character was something like ultra good to be true, like you know out of the blue some one lands in your life, and all stuff is sorted! Plus lots of things, actually. I had loved the original movie Anand, and it was simple yet beautiful.

2. Indeed

3. Glad we agree. That's one perspective and there can be many other things. Everything has a share, and is special to you.

4. Like Adi needs to have dialogues in their scene, to make it real. Ofc in couple scenes, both have. But some scenes are like, one character explains stuff, but P gets too monotonous, and fake. So she will go on with something, and Adi has to say like, could you please stop your mahanta? He literally says such dialogues, which is great. Like had told Nikki too, once there was this particular scene of trio, where P was trying to set him with a girl, and clear all misunderstandings, and being ultra great. He simply scolded her, saying have you started some match making business, dude, and just enjoyed his lunch. There should be flawed characters, something real. Otherwise it will get complex.

Lmao, sorry to bring up, but what's happening in Nikki's thread?

I believe readers must give writers the freedom of taking their time. Just cos you read in a go, don't expect writers to write in a go, cos it needs lot of planning and execution.

Nikki- Please take your time!

I agree... It will indeed be fun. 😈 😈 😈

Once had this experience. A friend from Bhootu forum and in Silsila our opinions were like 120 degree apart. 😆

My maa liked watching IPN...

Yeah you told me. Frankly, this is another show I recommend people if they want to watch something fun.

As I told you that once I am done reading synopsis, it doesn't take me too much time to watch. IPN is the only exception. Because despite knowing the story, I actually watched 70-80% of the total show because of the comedy and it's one of those shows where the supporting cast was amazing!!!

Besides, there were a lot of things that I had expected to see in Nazar but they portrayed it there beautifully. I mean bloopers were there, still there was continuation and logical explanation like Iccha falling weak after donating her life force to Babbal.

The biggest plus point for me was to watch an out and out positive character with not so much of layers yet it was amazing. Because even when the character was positive, she was strong and witty and had a proper sense of justice.

One of my most favorite scene was when Iccha got to know about Agwansh's past and cried for his misery, her friend asked why was she shedding tears for an enemy and she had a dialogue like - JO AANKHE KHUSHI AUR GUM MEIN FARAK NAHI KARTE AUR AANSU BAHATE HAIN, WOH KISI DOST AUR DUSHMAN MEIN KAISE FARAK KAREIN?

Okay! Let's not stretch this because I can literally write IPN Puran here. 😆

I know... This is always the case with me. If I like one episode of any show, I also become mad till I find all the episodes.

Then imagine my situation - watched the first three episodes which ended on a cliffhanger and then I was like - ab kya hoga? ab kya hoga? pagal ho gayi thi pura aur aisa ek haftah tha mera halat. Thankfully baad me episodes mil gaye the.

Actually I didn't know that it was based on Anand. I liked the movie as a whole. But yes, in a way it was a bit forced because they did some planning and plotting. I wish Rohit had approached Naina on his own.

Agree on the other points.

Hmmm... To phir dekhte hain yahan aisa time kab aata hai... 😆

Even I read the synopsis of the show and was interested too... But show hi galat time par start hua tha isliye nahi dekh paye.

Haan, I did see a few random scenes and I liked them. So, yes abhi to nahi par I will definitely watch it.

I can easily imagine your situation...cos aisa ek baar humare saath bhi hua tha.

Bas humare saath ye hua tha ki I had watched the later episodes but initial episodes miss ho gaye the... To dhoondh dhoondh kar pareshaan ho gaye the... 😆

Yeah I saw it too! It's a bit irritating because it actually takes a lot of time to brainstorm. Unless the writer makes it a point to post everyday, readers shouldn't badger this much. 🤔

Anand... It is one of my most favourite movies... Simply awesome movie and absolutely fabulous performance by Rajesh Khanna...

Almost 7-8 baar dekh li hai but still, I always end up crying at the last scene of the movie...
