They have attained massive success so yeah, they don't need to incorporate something unique. Still, even cliched ideas are executed in a slightly different manner which makes it interesting. Yaha pe to direct copy paste kar dete hain.

Agreed... Yahan par direct copy paste kar rahe hain. Aur waise bhi, if it is fetching them trp's, then why will they care??

Besides, after reading some of the Twitter comments, I realised that several people are watching this show for either of the leads and many of them have never watched Nazar. So, I guess for them, it is indeed something very "unique"... Or maybe they don't want to realise this fact that the show is basically copy pasting the ideas??

Also, I read a comment on twitter a few days back... One of the Nazar fans had pointed out all the similarities in the story as well as the locations too!!

Matlab without Baazigar Aman and without the clips Roshni are basically nothing???

Plus, if the Djinn has come for Aman, then why is he targeting Roshni?? Wo to ghar se aur Aman ki life se bhi door chali gayi... Ab kya problem hai?? Or has he come back for both of them??

Couldn't agree more. I have seen many people mocking Nazar for having a Daayaan but they drool over RoshAn. So that's enough proof.

Plus, I saw a tweet long ago that no Nazar fan can ever like Jinn. I believe it's true. They copy everything and the actors aren't that good that they can hold your interest. 🙄

May be like Mo needed Ansh but had to allieniate Piya because she could save him, probably Jinn Sahab too wants Aman to be completely alone and defenceless? 🤔

Still, yahan to Pia was actually adamant in saving Ansh from Mo and was sticking to his side no matter what...

But, udhar to Roshni has already left his house as well as his life... Haan, agar Roshni ke marne se Djinn ko kuch extra fayda hota hai (like Mo was able to turn Ansh into an EDV when Pia went to TL) to haan, he would definitely target her...

Plus, aate hi Djinn Sahab ke paas car bhi aa gayi aur itni jaldi ek bakery bhi!! Kya baat hai... Ye to Mo se bhi zyada fast nikle...

Yup even I have seen people mocking Nazar because it has a Daayan but praising yjhjk for having a Djinn. But, what is so special about a Djinn?? It is also basically a supernatural creature only!!

And, I am seriously not able to find any reason to drool over RoshAn...

In fact, I remember reading a comment that even if Vikram comes on the screen for full one hour merely for reading the weather update, she is going to watch that too...

Yeah... I am talking about that same tweet about no Nazar fan ever liking yjhjk... She had actually pointed out each and every similarity in story plus the locations... She had also done a comparison between the characters of both the shows...

In fact, she was actually a die hard fan of Nazar initially... I used to bhatkofy there to read all the discussions.

Aur Mo se fast to honge hi... After all, Mo is some 258 or something years old whereas this Djinn is some 8000 years old or so (as much as I could understand from the discussions in that forum).

I have the same concern. How is Jinn any different from Nazar or lighter than Nazar? Just because a Dayaan and Davansh is concerned, it's regressive. Whereas due to the remote connection to Jinn appearing in Arabian Nights, Jinn is fantasy and superior?

And yeah, that sort of blind fandom is nothing new. I was bhatkofying there today and couldn't continue for much time because even blindness has its limit.

Anyway, leave this. Nazar will be better for us, Jinn for them. But I wanted to discuss about something else.

The promo reminded me of Snow White and Prince Charming. Even in the forums people were talking about different fairy tales and how unique it is. But personally, not a big fan of such storyline anymore. I mean it was one thing to love those fairy tales when I was a kid. But as someone who is in her mid twenties, I feel such stories are poor Bakwas.

I actually want to applaud Disney for making movies like Moana, Frozen and Maleficent where love isn't superficial or girls have strength.

Yes, you can't have custom-made people in your life. So when you start to care for someone, be it your family or friends or partner, you adjust sometimes and sometimes expect them to understand you and change a bit. That's very human. So love stories which show such normal struggle is much superior to me. But hero had taken three arrows so now heroine will take three and hero's tears will revive her - what rubbish is this? Is this truly the type of story you would want to get invested? Where everything is so magical that hardly real life emotions are seen?

This is just a random thought that came to my mind while reading some comments. Not necessary you have to agree. Just wanted to discuss. 😊

There is difference in Mohana and Jinn, Jinn ke pass magical powers hai like Harry Potter. Mohana is just a daayan difference to hoga hi. And sorry to say andar se powers aani chahiye ka matlab nahi this is a fantasy show. Harrypotter ki wand cheen lo wo bhi powerless ho jayega . Why compare with Nazar always. Nazar is different pure supernatural and Jinn is fantasy . Some scenes are similar but story is different. Ab jab director same hai to scenes bhi to kuch same hi honge.
