I came to college with a sulking face. I can't believe Badi Ma grounded me. She never did that before. She is too strict. I huffed and went to canteen only to see Bhai, Kajal and Neha having their lunch. Oh yes now they are eating as if nothing is wrong.

I sat on the empty seat between Neha and Bhai and glared at all of them.

Neha: Rishi?? What happened??

Neha asked looking at me amused. Hah!! As if she doesn't know.

Rishi: What will happen?? Grounded for one week.

I told her huffing irritated and they all looked at me stunned.

Ansh: No way. Maa can't be that cruel.

Bhai said frowning at me. What does he think?? That I am lying??

Rishi: You know your Maa very well. That's why you gave me this dare Bhai.

I said to him accusingly. I know he has an idea that Badi Ma will give me a severe punishment.

Ansh: I dared you to save yourself from her punishment, not to take the punishment.

Bhai said rolling his eyes. Oh yes!! I whined looking at all of them. How will I remember the bet when Badi Ma look at me like a devil??

Rishi: You know she is scary Bhai.

I said to Bhai frowning and he raised his eyes looking at me. Shit!! I totally forgot I can say nothing bad about Badi Ma in front of her favorite son. Oops!! Sorry!! Only son.

Neha: You are a dumbo Rishi.

Neha said rolling her eyes at me. Is she even serious?? I am a dumbo?? And what is she??

Kajal: Comeon Rishi Bhai!! Bhai saves himself from her punishment every single time.

Kajal said looking at me amused. Of course he will save himself every single time. After all he is the apple of Badi Ma's eye. She never punishes Bhai.

Rishi: Oh please!! Everyone knows she melts by just seeing Bhai. Her Ansh is just too innocent and we all are devils influencing her Ansh to do bad deeds. She doesn't know her Ansh is devil reincarnated.

I said narrowing my eyes at Bhai and he grinned looking at me. He is too much. Just because of him I am in this situation. Now he has to bring me out from it.

Ansh: Excuse me?? What did I do?? How can I be a devil??

Bhai said looking at me innocently. Innocent my foot!!

Kajal: Exactly. Bhai is so sweet, and you are calling him a devil??

Kajal said looking at me accusingly. Wow!! of course she will take his side. She is his darling small sister.

Neha: Rishi, you are born dimwit!!

Neha said hitting my head. What the hell!! At least she can support me. She is my sister.

Rishi: What the hell yaar!! No one supports me. Sometimes it feels as I am the odd one out.

I huffed at them irritated. They all rolled their eyes at me. What the hell!!

Ansh: Ya, why not!! Now stop over reacting you monkey.

Bhai said shaking his head at me. This is just not done. How can he call me monkey?? Can't he connect me to any other animal like wolf or lion??

Rishi: Bhai!!

I whined looking at him and they all laughed. Suddenly Neha asked a question which was running in my mind since last night.

Neha: Anyways, what happened to you last night??

Neha asked looking at Bhai. Even I want to know what was wrong with him last night. Whatever I told Badi Ma was not a story. It was a truth.

Rishi: Yes Bhai. You were behaving weird.

I asked looking at him curiously. He sighed and looked down as if thinking something.

Ansh: I don't know. My wounds were healing automatically and I pushed a car by one hand. I just don't know what the hell happened at the race yesterday.

Bhai said looking at all of us tensed.We all sighed hearing him. It is really difficult to believe but I know if Bhai is saying this then this has to be the truth. He never speak lies and he never hides anything from us.

Sandhya: Hey Neha!!

We all turned towards the girl who shouted Neha's name.

Neha: Oh Hii Sandhya. What happened?? Where are you running off to??

Neha asked looking at the girl frowning. That girl is looking as if she is ready to run off to somewhere. What is wrong with her??

Sandhya: You don't know?

Sandhya asked looking at all of us baffled. Now what did we have to know??

Neha: About what?

Neha asked looking at her friend.

Sandhya: Seema clicked Preety's dead body's photo. In fact she saw her dead body and she is in shock.

The girl said shaking her head as if she is trying to figure out something. What's wrong with Preety's dead body??

Neha: Oh!! Send me the picture.

Neha said looking at the girl curiously.

Sandhya: Sure!!

She shrugged and sent the photo to Neha's cell phone.

Sandhya: Ok I have to leave. Talk to you guys later.

She waved at all of us and we looked at her stunned. We don't even know her. Why is she waving at all of us??

Neha: Okay.

Neha said looking at that girl with a weird expression on her face. She shook her head and then looked at the picture in her cell phone. She looked at her cell phone with a horrified expression. What's wrong with the pic??

Ansh: Neha?? You okay??

Bhai asked looking at Neha frowning. She looked at all of us stunned.

Neha: Look at this picture Bhai.

She said forwarding her phone towards us.

What the hell is this?? How can Preety become so old??

Rishi: Oh freak!! Is this preety's dead body??

I asked looking at Neha horrified.

Neha: Preety was of our age. How can her body become aged??

Neha said looking at the picture tensed. Exactly, how can someone become this old in just 24 hours??

Kajal: Who can kill her like that??

Kajal asked looking at all of us tensed. She is right. Who can kill this girl this way?? How is it even possible??

We all are sitting in the living room waiting for the kids to come home. Then only we can leave for Bandaap. I can't understand why do we have to leave for that town. I looked at Bhabhi who is continuously looking at the door with a frown on her face.

Chaitali: Bhabhi why do we have to leave for Bandaap??

I asked her worried about our safety. Its not safe for our kids to go there. Why do we need to take them too??

Vedashree: We have to go Chaitali. I want to see if that daayan is still in her place or not.

She said with a determined face and I looked at her horrified. She want to see the daayan?? Oh god!!

Avinash: But Bhabhi...

Avinash Ji tried to say something too but Bhabhi stopped him too.

Vedashree: Please Avinash Bhaiya.

She said looking at Avinash Ji and Bhaiya pleading. They both sighed and nodded at her. Shit!! We have to leave for that scary place.

Shekhar: Fine. We will leave today only.

Bhaiya said looking at Bhabhi determined. Now we have to face that daayan again and I am not in the mood to see that daayan's face. Suddenly we all heard Rishi's voice.

Rishi: Hey guys!! We are home!!

We all looked towards the door only to see all four of them coming in smiling but as soon as they looked at us their smiles dropped and they all looked at us curiously.

Neha: You all are going somewhere??

Neha asked looking at our overnight bags. Though we don't need clothes but Bhabhi said to pack them just in case we need them.

Vedashree: We all are going somewhere.

Bhabhi said looking at all of them sternly.

Rishi: Hey are we having a late evening picnic??

Suddenly my ever intelligent son opened his mouth again. God!! How can he behave so dumb at times??

Avinash: Its not a picnic idiot. This is something really serious.

Avinash Ji hit him on his head and he rubbed his head frowning at his Dad.

Rishi: Oh. Okay!!

He smiled nervously looking at Bhabhi and she shook her head at him.

Vedashree: Let's leave.

She said indicating towards the bags we have packed for our kids overnight. They all looked at us confused. We have to leave early if we want to reach there before sunset.

Ansh: Like this??

Ansh asked indicating towards his attire. We don't have time to change.

Shekhar: Hmm.

Bhaiya nodded and we all left for Bandaap.

Finally we all reached to the room of the temple where Divya trapped Mohana. We all looked at the giant lock Divya put on the room.

Ansh: What is this?? Why are we here Maa??

Ansh asked looking at the door curiously. Suddenly he stepped forward and touched the door but then he removed his hand as fast as he touched the door.

Ansh: Aah!!

He shouted stumbling back. What happened to him??

Vedashree: ANSH!!

Bhabhi shouted his name and he pressed his hand tightly as if something happened to his hand. But what?? Why does he felt pain on touching this lock??

I pressed my hand tightly feeling the after effects of the stinging pain I felt in my hand. I can't believe something can be this painful. Thank god no one saw my eyes glowing as I had closed them. But why did I felt such pain on touching the lock??

Guruma: Don't touch it!!

I turned towards the voice only to see an elderly lady coming towards us, but she is not looking at us. Is she blind?? And why can't I touch the door??

Ansh: Who are you?? And why can't I touch it??

I asked looking at her confused. I want to know what is happening with me. And why are we here?? What's so special here??

Guruma: You don't need to know it. Just know one thing, don't deny any change in yourself.

She said with a serious expression. Wait!! Does she know that there is something changing in me?? And if yes, then how the hell does she know it??

Ansh: Means??

I asked her tensed. She smiled for some time but then her smile dropped abruptly. Why did she smiled??

Guruma: Leave it. Open the door.

She said indicating towards the door and I moved back. Dad, Chachu and Rishi broke the door. They opened the door and we all entered only to encounter some really bad spider webs here and a dust covered coffin. What the hell is all this??

Rishi: Casket?? Who keep dead people like this??

Rishi asked looking everywhere confused. Even I am confused like hell. So much candles and Goddess Signs. What happened here??

Guruma: She is not dead.

Suddenly the old lady said again and I looked at her horrified. Not dead?? Did they put alive person in the casket??

Kajal: Who??

Kajal asked looking at everyone frowning. Nice question. I want to know that too. Who are we looking at??

Vedashree: Your Mom.

Maa said looking at me and Kajal and I felt my breath stop. No!! Not her again!! I remember her as clear as day. She is evil. And I don't want to see her again.

Kajal: What?? What are you saying Mummy??

Kajal asked looking at Maa baffled. Its time that Kajal realised the truth too. That she is the daughter of an evil dayan.

Ansh: Mohana. The daayan.

I said gritting my teeth and everyone looked at me stunned.

Vedashree: Ansh!! How did you??

Maa asked looking at me tensed. I know what she wants to ask. I know she wants to know that how did I remember her. But you can't forget your nightmare so easily.

Ansh: I remember her pretty well.

I shrugged nonchalantly.

Neha: Is she in here??

Neha asked looking at the coffin. Suddenly I looked at the braid laying in another casket as if it is really harmful. But can it be possible that a braid can be harmful too??

Rishi: A braid?? Why is it in a casket?? Let me see!!

Rishi said going towards it but suddenly both Maa and Choti Ma shouted together.

Vedashree & Chaitali: RISHI!!

We all looked at them baffled. What's wrong with them??

Rishi: What??

Rishi asked looking at both of them bewildered.

Guruma: That's a daayan's braid. Her powers remains in it.

That old lady said again. Oh god!! daayan's powers??

Rishi: Shit!! Sorry!!

Rishi said looking at the braid horrified. I went towards the main casket and tried to remove the dust from it.

Vedashree: Ansh!! Careful!!

I heard Maa and nodded at her. Then I removed all the dust and looked at the person laying inside it stunned.

Ansh: She is a stone??

I asked looking at Maa confused. I thought she is laying here in her human form. I didn't know she is no longer a human.

Guruma: That's why I said, that she is not dead.

The old lady said blinking her eyes. I now know that she can't see anything. But what does she means by Mohana is not dead??

Ansh: That means she can come back??

I asked her totally confused about wha's going on.

Guruma: She can. But she is here right now.

The old lady said nodding with a blank face. Oh freak!! That means we are not free from this daayan.

Vedashree: That means she can't kill that girl.

Maa said looking at the old lady tensed. Which girl are they talking about?? What's going on here?? Are they talking about Preety??

Ansh: You mean a daayan killed Preety??

I asked looking at Maa stunned. But how come is it possible?? Mohana is lying here.

Kajal: That's why the dead body was aged??

Kajal asked looking at Maa horrified.

Vedashree: Yes.

Maa nodded in yes and we all looked at her shocked. A daayan?? that too in our college?? What the hell!!

Rishi: Oh god!!

Rishi looked at Maa with wide eyes. How can a daayan kill Preety?? Mohana is here in the casket. I am sure she can't kill Preety.

Ansh: But she is here. Then who killed Preety??

I asked looking at the stone body of Mohana frowning.

Guruma: If not this one, then there may be another daayan in the picture.

The old lady said sighing sadly. What the hell!! Another one?? Just what I want in my already complicated life.

Vedashree: Another one??

Maa looked at the old lady horrified. I shook my head at them. But why would anyone target Preety??

Ansh: But why Preety??

I asked looking at the old lady confused.

Guruma: A warning to all of you.

She said shrugging as if its the most common thing to happen. But why a warning to all of us??

Ansh: Why??

I asked looking at the old lady frowning. A warning about what?? What does a daayan want from all of us??

Guruma: Evil eye.

She said smiling sadly. Evil eye?? What is this??

Ansh: Means??

I asked looking at her curiously but I got the answer from Maa.

Vedashree: When Mohona was burning she cursed us with her evil sight. A daayan's evil sight doesn't end till she kills every member of the family.

She said looking at me with tears in her eyes and I looked at her shocked. What the hell!!

Ansh: And she cursed our family??

I asked Maa softly but she looked down with tears in her eyes. I looked at Papa only to see him looking at me with sorry expressions on his face.

Shekhar: Hmm.

He nodded looking down. I looked towards Rishi, Neha and Kajal and they all looked at me tensed.

Neha: Is there nothing that we can do to end it??

Neha asked looking at the old lady frowning.

Guruma: You can do nothing. But god can.

The old lady said smiling. Suddenly I felt a strange sensation in me. It felt as if some very pleasing bells are chiming together. What is all this?? I turned towards the voice only to hear the laughing voice of someone. I closed my eyes trying to calm my heart beats. What is wrong with me?? I am feeling as if someone enchanted me with their spells and someone is calling me towards them.

I took a deep breath and opened my eyes. I felt as if the call is too hard to resist. I went towards the voice.

Vedashree: Ansh!! Where are you going??

I heard Maa's voice but I am in no condition to reply anything. I am feeling as if someone hypnotized me.

Shekhar: Ansh!!

I ignored Papa's call and kept on moving ahead towards the voice.

Neha: Bhai??

Neha kept her hand on my shoulder but I removed her hand and started moving again. This sound of jingling and laughter is calling me.

Vedashree: Ansh!!

I heard Maa shouting my name but I can't stop. I don't want to stop.

Rishi: Relax Badi Ma. We will see what happened.

I heard Rishi's voice and then I stopped hearing anything else. I only heard the chiming of bells and a laughter of a girl. What is so special in it?? Why am I drawn towards it?? What's wrong with me??

Though I can't see what's happening, but I have a very good idea of what is happening here. They all are calling Ansh but he is not hearing. That means he is in some type of hypnotism. He is in influence of someone. And I know that someone has to be my Pia.

Vedashree: I don't know if I did right by bringing him here. What happened to him??

Vedashree said in a broken voice. She has to know that he is here because he has to meet someone very special today.

Guruma: His destiny is calling him.

I told her smiling.

Vedashree: His destiny??

She asked in a confused voice. Looks like she doesn't recognize what is happening here.

Guruma: He is destined to be someone's from birth.

I told her and I heard her gasp.

Vedashree: She is here?? A daivik??

Vedashree asked in a stunned voice. So she knows about Pia. And if she knows about Daivik then she must know who Ansh is and what powers he possess. Divya said that Pia is in this world to protect the most powerful force of nature. That means Ansh is the one who has to be protected and controlled. And for that Vedashree has to know who the Daivik is.

Guruma: Yes. Divya's daughter.

I told her smiling.

Avinash: Divya?? The same who trapped this Mohana here??

A male voice asked in wonder. I think this voice belongs to Ansh's Chachu.

Guruma: Yes.

I nodded at them and I heard several gasps together. Its really strange how Divya's family is bound to protect these people.

Vedashree: Where is Divya??

I heard Vedashree's tensed voice. Even I want to know that same thing, and that's why Pia is moving to Mumbai. Because we have to know where is Divya, and if she is alright or not.

Guruma: No one knows.

I shook my head in a no.

Shekhar: Then how come her daughter is here??

Another male voice asked in a confused tone. I think he is Ansh's father.

Guruma: She left her here with me.

I told them the truth. I know why Divya left Pia here but now is the right time for her to come back. Why is she delaying is really bothering me.

Vedashree: What??

Vedashree said in a shocked tone. I know she has to be shocked. It was a shock for me that Divya left her daughter with me. But I know it was important for Pia to stay with me.

I can't believe what I am seeing. We all stood in an open field with no one in sight. What is Bhai doing here?? And why did he ran like that from the room?? I am thoroughly confused.

Rishi: What the hell is wrong with Bhai?? What is he doing here?? No one is here.

Rishi Bhai said looking at Bhai frowning. I looked towards Bhai only to see him searching for something or someone frantically. What happened to him?? We all ran towards him. I am sure something is wrong with him.

Neha: Bhai!! What happened??

Neha asked looking at Bhai worried. What is he exactly searching for??

Ansh: Where is she??

Bhai said looking everywhere. What the!! About whom is he talking about??

Kajal: She?? Who?? No one is here.

I said to Bhai looking everywhere confused. Bhai closed his eyes as if he is trying to listen something. Then he opened his eyes and took a deep breath as if he is seeing something we can't.

Ansh: She is here. I can feel her presence.

He says looking everywhere frantically. Okay!! what's so special about her that he is searching for her so much??

Neha: Who Bhai??

Neha asked looking at Bhai worried. I sighed rolling my eyes. What's wrong with Bhai?? God knows who is he searching for.

Rishi: Are you talking about her??

Rishi Bhai said pointing his fingers towards somewhere. We all looked towards his finger only to see a girl sitting down on her knees. But her back is towards us and we can see only one thing. A birth mark on her shoulder which is glowing.

What the hell!! Who is she?? And why is her mark glowing?? What's going on?? I looked at Bhai only to see him turning back towards the girl.

That girl got up and freed the pigeon that was in her hand. She looked up at the flying pigeon in wonder. Wow!! She is beautiful.

She really has a pleasing appearance. I smiled and looked towards Bhai only to see him looking at the girl in a strange way.

Then he totally turned around and looked at the girl as if he is infatuated. God!! What is he doing?? What's wrong with him?? Bhai never look at girls and now he is looking at this girl like he can't believe she exists.

Suddenly that girl looked down and her smile vanished. It looked as if she is thinking something. Then she fell down on her knees and started crying violently.

Oh god!! What happened to her?? Why is she crying like that?? I looked at Rishi Bhai and Neha and they both were looking at Bhai tensed. I frowned at them and looked towards Bhai only to see him looking at the girl transfixed. Oh freak!! Looks like he is in serious trouble.

Neha: Guys!! Bhai is a gone case. Look how he is looking at this girl.

Neha said looking at Bhai smirking.

Kajal: Ya. But who is she??

I asked the question that is going on in my mind. And how the hell did Bhai sensed her?? What is going on here??

Rishi: Who knows. Why is she crying??

Rishi said looking at the girl frowning. Suddenly that girl got up and started running away. Bhai came out of his trance and looked at the girl panicked. Now what??

Ansh: Listen!!

Bhai shouted but till then the girl had already left. Bhai stood there with tears in his eyes. Bhai is a gone case. Totally!!

Rishi: Bhai!!

Rishi Bhai put his hand on Bhai's shoulder and he came out from his trance. Then he wiped his eyes and looked at all of us confused. Wow!! Looks like he is not in his senses.

Neha: She left. Now can we leave too??

Neha asked looking at Bhai raising her eyebrows.

Ansh: Hmm.

He nodded looking down sadly. Now will he stay like this only??

Rishi: What are you thinking Bhai??

Rishi Bhai asked looking at Bhai worried. Bhai looked at all of us for sometime then he looked down.

Ansh: Who was she??

He said in a soft tone. I know he said that to himself but we all heard. I looked at Rishi Bhai and Neha and they both were looking at Bhai amused. I shook my head amused and we all left for the same temple room where everyone is.
