May be the DC was the ultimate one to be used to hold one under spell. Since the impact of that wore off, she needs to use human way of handling things

if you remember when she came out , she tried her spell on that baarat. Also ruby once tried that on piaa ,jab ki usne kabhi DC me per nahi rakha tha. Also ved did this on everyone while that so called Shaadi.
