who plays a teenaged Rocky Ahuluwalia in Sony TV's Parvarrish Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi (DJ's Creative Unit) may have outgrown his teens but convincingly slips into the role of a teenager in reel life. He is indeed a very talented actor who is playing a character which is unlike him. He avers that he was a simple teenager. Nevertheless, he likes the inherent mischievous streak in Rocky. He says, "Rocky is a naughty boy who doesn't understand what is right. I wish I could have his puckish trait in real life. However, I don't like the fact that he lies to his parents and has even stolen."

What kind of fan response does he receive from teenage boys like Rocky? "I receive many messages from teenagers of Rocky's age group. They often say that on watching the show, their parents have started to get suspicious that they are like him."

Tapasvi undoubtedly loves playing Rocky. The role closest to his heart was however of Ishaan in Disney Channel India's Ishaan. "The cast and crew of that show were very lively. To the best of my knowledge it was the country's first musical show and had about 11 songs. I simply loved the concept of the show."

When this young man isn't acting he plays the guitar, dabbles in photography and watches American TV shows. He plays both the acoustic and electric guitar.

Who is his guitar teacher? He replies, "It has been for two years that I have been playing the electric guitar and four years since I have been playing the acoustic guitar. I have had no teacher. I have observed my friend playing the guitar and have taught myself by watching Youtube videos and going through online guitar lessons."
How does he rate himself as far as playing the guitar is concerned? He replies with a tone of honesty, "I would give myself the score of 6.5, with 0 being the lowest and 10 being the highest. As I am very busy with my current show, I don't find much time to practice."

What does he like to play on the guitar? He answers promptly, "I like playing Coldplay, John Mayer, Pink Floyd and Metallica."

What are the American TV shows that he likes watching? "Entourage, Dexter, Modern Family, Parenthood and Family Guy are all very interesting shows."

Regarding his passion for photography, he says that he likes clicking candid shots of people. "I think that good lighting is important as it adds to the character of the picture. I have picked up photography on my own. All you need is a sense of what makes an aesthetic image and frame for a picture. I have clicked many pictures of my co-stars. In future I would love to work for the Discovery or National Geographic channel for a year."

Well.. Tapasvi is such a talented guy. I knew he is great photographer.. Even seen videos of him playing guitar with his friend. Thanks for this article and thanks for sharing here.

I like Rocky's character a lot. Just wishing that it has been over a year and we have not seen much of improvement in his character, just does not seem to learn from experience.

Yes just hope he doesn't repeat his older mistakes. Even in the current track... Full chances for that.. 😔 i wrote it on my post... CVs love to use him as a faulty.
