I don't think there is nothing to not like about Lucky's parenting. Daddu appreciates his son, and hopefully will approve of his parenting, but he is not the expressive type. He may not be the one having serious emotional talks and all the hugging, he is more of a witty guy which sometimes may feel like bullying. Which is what has placed the fear in Lucky since he was a kid. At this age, it would do better to both of them, if they could just put their feelings in words. Sometimes, just showing your love through actions is not enough.

@FT...whatever Lucky said about his father..that their relationship is strained...and how Daddu hit him in front of everyone...all this suggests that Daddu does/did not think before he acted towards his son. That in some way has definitely affected Lucky.

Whatever Daddu we see today...is a different person...because he has crossed that stage...Lucky has also crossed that stage of a boy...Lucky is in a good position and is happy...Daddu is happy...

But now Rocky is in the same age as that of when problem might have started between him and Daddu...so Daddu might see how Lucky is differently handling his kids. Lucky gives freedom..which Daddu did not and probably he thinks there is no necessity too...this could be a way they can show generation gap and how parents have to go along with this gap.

We have already seen Daddu to be an impulsive guy. Being such in this age, it's not an exaggeration to assume he was a pretty strict father, hitting in public and all. He might or might have not realized his wrong doing. I hope he does, and that would most probably be the direction they will take. The older generation pretends as if their parenting was the right way, after all that is the only excuse they have to beat a kid. They believe leniency destroys kids. But seeing a practical example of the opposite might help him realize he was wrong, if he hasn't already realized that.

That's why I am hoping for some closure scenes between them. Past cannot be changed, but they might reconcile and find a middle ground.

@FT...I agree. Eventhough Daddu has been a strict father, used to beat Lucky, Lucky still respects him. He remembers his father's words and feels his father was right in whatever he did to him. (remember football track?). So I feel, for Lucky Daddu is a good father.

But on seeing Lucky...Daddu may realise he might have made mistakes as well...and it is just not Lucky. He could have made things better if he had acted differently.

I too want to see some good scenes between Daddu and Lucky, like an open talk. Daddu loves Lucky but in someway does not consider him to be a responsible guy. May be he will realise that Lucky is responsible.

Good in intentions maybe, I don't know. But I draw the line at physical violence, I can never consider a parent to be good if he had to resort to hitting to control the child. Passing time may make him feel that a close relationship with the child would have been far better in the long run.

Definitely want Daadu to realize that Lucky has made a man of himself, and want even more that he tells this to Lucky. His words means a lot to him, and that will definitely heal some old wounds.

True. Physical violence is something one can never forget. Even now Lucky remembers his father as a person who scolds and hits him. Lucky might have done some mistakes himself in the past, but if Daddu had handled it in a better manner...their relationship might have been better.

It will be nice if they show Lucky handling a critical issue of Rocky's in his own way...but Daddu might have hit Lucky for the same situation..

@bold...cannot agree more. Whatever might have happened in the past..as a son Lucky will expect his father to appreciate him for what he has done in his life...and when Daddu does that..it will be his best day.

Do you think Daddu has to apologise to Lucky for his past behaviour?

Yes, people makes mistake. Kids make some more. But you don't fight a mistake with another. You don't put out a fire with more fire.

Actually it would be even better if Daddu tries to hit Rocky but Lucky interrupts and handles the situation in a better manner, like a true grown up. Maybe that will show Daddu that there are alternatives to using force.

A parent's appreciation will mean a lot to him, especially when he has treated him like a underdog for his whole life.

Morally? Yes, he should. But does it even matter now? The relationship is beyond getting repaired to the perfect bonding. Can't change the past though, nor the baggage that came with it. Things can't just flip, you know. But still, admitting his mistakes will do better for them, at least better than where they are now.

Although voted for "Other", it is obvious that it will be Lucky vs Daddu. But as I have voted for "Other" it will be Daddu track with Lucky.😆

It will be nice if Daddu comes to know that Lucky does not raise hands at his kids. He has to know how he handled Rocky's love track. Definitely physical force is not the right option and Daddu shud realise that. According to me, in a way Daddu is responsible for most of the struggle that Lucky had to undergo in his life. Lucky is not blaming him, bt he need to realise that.

Daddu's appreciation will mean a lot to Lucky. No one actually appreciates Lucky at all. Above that if Daddu appreciates, he will be on top of the world.

Sure, an apology now will not change anything. But atleast it will change how Daddu sees Lucky and how Lucky sees himself. With Daddu's taunts and words Lucky might still feel he is incapable of doing things. That has to change.

Next question😆 Do you think there might actually be a scene where Daddu slaps Lucky now in front of his kids...and Kids will realise their luck in having Lucky has their father?

Hey Suhaani, welcome and hope to see you around more...
kk I chose the dadu-lucky option cause the way this track is shaping is that we will see the difference in Dadu and Lucky's thoughts... so the basic generation gap... and maybe we might see how dadu reacts to Lucky's parentings skills...
